From the get go, the staff have been so wonderful to my dog and family. I called on a Friday…read moremorning to get my dog seen for limping, they told me to come in and they would check her out. We had just moved to Mississippi from up North 3 months prior to seeing them, so establishing with a vet was scary enough but from the first phone call, they put my mind at ease. My dog has seen Dr Britt a total of 3 times. The first was for limping and was given medication to help ease her discomfort to allow her to heal. 5 days after she seemed to be getting better, her lead caught her right leg while walking and caused her to fall on the affected leg. We continued the medication and keeping her somewhat immobile during the day to help healing, thinking that it would just take a bit longer now for her to stop limping. A few weeks later on a Friday night, I was horrified to find her affected right front leg was hot to the touch and three times it's usual size. I called the office but they don't have weekend hours and I didn't feel this was an emergency because she was breathing find and she wasn't bleeding. I called the next Monday and they were full on the schedule and I didn't get off work until 300. They fit me in because I told them how serious I thought the situation was and they agreed and told me to bring her in after work. I waited for about 30 minutes as I was prepared to wait until closing since they were doing us a favor and seeing her. We were taken back, I explained everything to Dr Britt and he did an x-ray. After a decent timely visit, he concluded that it was possibly soft tissue sarcoma; cancer. Dr Britt encouraged that I consult our vet from up North as he wanted to make sure we were on the right track for diagnosis. The staff did everything in sending copies of the xrays and labs to the vet up north and she confirmed it was cancer. The next week, I spoke with Dr Britt at length through my sons and concerns of when to out our baby girl to rest, he talked with me and never made me feel like I taking up his time or that he was too busy for my call. A little after a month from diagnosis we brought her in (yesterday) for her appt to be laid to rest. They had our room ready and we went straight back. The staff loved on Sophie and comforted us. Dr Britt came in and explained the process and then took her back to prep her, all throughout the visit he continued to ask, would you like some time with her? The answer for me was no as I didn't want to prolong her suffering and the longer we stayed there it would have been much harder to allow them to do it. They came in and did the procedure and gave us time alone with her. After a bit he came back in and took her away as we left after asking if we wanted more time. He said since we were having her cremated and getting the remains back he called the best friends cremation and they were coming to pick her up. As we left I noticed the candle at the front desk was lit for us, silently letting it her know we were going through a loss. A touch I didn't think I'd appreciate but cherish. This facility is full if helpers and healers and we will continue to take our other pets here. Thank you Dr Britt and staff. You gave our baby girl peace and comfort.

Very nice and helpful front desk staff. All staff seem…read moreknowledgeable. Up to date services offered, including boarding and soon to offer grooming. As someone from out-of -state, I was very comfortable with what was offered. This would be the place I would bring my dog if I lived in Jackson.
