Dr Gill was able to see her in just a couple days. Our appt was at 930 but I misunderstood and showed up at 9. They were able to see me a little early and dr Gill was very thorough and kind. I'm not sure if they honestly thought my fur baby would be okay or if they just didn't want to tell me there was nothing they could do. Either way, I was very disappointed in the lack of compassion I received from two Michael's staff members. I originally brought my puppy in this week due to vomiting and loss of appetite. He was prescribed medicine and we were sent back home. Since he could not keep the medicine nor food down and showed no improvements throughout the night, I called back the next morning and spoke with the young lady at the front desk about my concerns. I even asked if I should bring him there or take him to the hospital instead. She nonchalantly told me to bring him in and they would see what they could do for him. My husband dropped him off around 10am. I left work around 4pm and realized I had not received any news so I called them for an update. I spoke with a younger guy over the phone who told me my puppy was fine, just laying around. I asked him did my puppy eat or show any signs of being hungry (this is day 4 without eating), he stated they did not try to feed him, but he wasn't vomiting so I could pick him up. At pick up, I was sent home with food, instructions on a different method to administer meds, and I was also told not worry so much if he doesn't eat. The following day, I noticed he still was not better but I refused to call the clinic so I took him to the animal hospital instead. While at AERC, I called Clinton Family Pet Clinic and asked if they tested him for parvo and they stated no because he was up-to-date on his vaccinations. Unfortunately while at AERC, I received the news about my puppy dying while I was on the phone with the younger male staff member at Clinton Family Pet Clinic. My exact words were, "Disregard, he just stopped breathing." The staff member's response was "Okay" and we got off the phone.... I will never return to this place. Not because my dog died, moreso due to the lack of compassion, information, and simply appearing as if they did not care.

We found this vet, and said let's give it a try! We took our male bunny here to find out his gender. We had previously thought it was a girl. Our vet, Dr. Medders was so kind! She examined him quickly and clipped his toenails. She later on neutered him. She cares much about your pet's health. Our female, was brought here because of a broken foot. Dr. Medders calmed us down from fear to assurance. Her foot healed on its own! The surgeon was very educated about bunnies. We love this vet SO much. This vet also takes exotic animals including Bearded Dragons! This veterinarian's office is slightly hard to get to. Go through the pathway next to the car wash and you'll be there! The office is clean and the vets enjoy cuddling and comforting your pets! They loved how playful our male bunny was, and how cuddly our female was! So come here!

The prescription was granted. When I showed up to pick it up I was told that they couldn't give it to me unless I brought the dog in for an appointment (roughly $70). She gets prescribed the same medication every time we bring her in so it's nothing new. If you are not going to prescribe a medication without seeing the dog then say that over the phone. Now our dog gets to suffer for the next 5 days until clinics open back up. We will not be bringing our animals back to this place.

In all reality they are more concerned about their profits. This vet clinic if they don't like what you say, they will tell you to seek care elsewhere and say you are disrespectful versus acknowledging their failures or possibility they made one. I had a rescue they were paid in full to remove skin tags and do a spay and a full exam. Brooke Mitchell opened the dog up then stated she had already been spayed, probably early in life, however on the flip side during her initial check up she said she had probably had many litters. Dog was fine upon admittance, when she was picked up next day late afternoon had been having chronic diarrhea at the vet and ended up in the ER the next day with a several hundred charge. Another dog was misdiagnosed with conjunctivitis when she had eye tumors, I pushed saying it was a mass and in fact I was right not the vet. The front desk likes to overcharge as well so watch your bill. If a vet can't accept that she can make a mistake and their staff definitely makes mistakes and doesn't due her due diligence in an exam then that's an issue!!!!!!! If you want to pay someone and not ever utter your opinion then this is the clinic for you! This vet emailed me to tell me to seek care elsewhere because I was disrespectful, well I had already made that decision prior to receiving her email, funny how your staff is disrespectful and you have no issue with that, yet you can't accept a client speaking their mind and the vet tuck tails and can't even have enough backbone to pick up a telephone and call the former client. Mind you during all this I was extremely sick and ended up in the hospital myself and all this vet is worried about is her pride. Get over it Brooke, you aren't perfect and YOU DO make mistakes and we have proof and your staff sure as heck makes mistakes, your own employee at Forest Hill that worked at Byram on that Thursday brought to my husbands attention the overcharges (not first time mind you) so might want to learn to apologize from time to time.
