Unfortunately, the last 2 times we have left our dogs there we have had a, much different experience. When we arrived the whole place smelled like dog urine. When I asked the man at the counter if he had instructions for the dogs, he looked at me like I had 2 heads and looked stoned out of his mind. I began to tell him how to feed them and he didn't write it down. I then asked if he would like me to write it down and he said no. One of my dogs takes medicine and they lost her medicine. I gave them just enough food to make it through the weekend and there was way too much food left over for them to have been feed properly. Both of their dog beds were covered in urine. When they got home, each dog drank a gallon of water like they hadn't had any all day. Long story short, we will not be leaving our animals here anymore.

She got plenty of exercise and they would SnapChat pics of her whenever I asked. Most telling was when I picked her up. Instead of immediately heading to the car to get the heck out of there (as has happened in the past in different kennels), Nella repeatedly went back and forth between me and the Wee Paws folks to "tell them goodbye". My wife and I didn't even get the usual sulky dog turning her back that night for having left her for a week. Amazing, we'll definitely be boarding our pup with them without reservations in the future.

You see, Webster Animal Shelter is not in the county where I need the help. It's in Madison County, and I need help in Hinds County. But the three ladies at Webster didnt mind; they jumped right in, giving me resources on who to call, phone numbers, and names. The ladies directed me to FB pages and told me to call the news station. They even gave me the number of their animal control. You see, I have been trying to help a neglected dog for over a year now. I have tried to work with the animal control in Hinds County, but no such luck; very small minds over there. I must add that Hinds County is riddled with crime. Honestly, no humans or pets should be living in that city. But with the information that the three ladies gave me from Webster Animal Shelter, I'm making progress. I want to say thank you to them. I appreciate you three ladies so much. Without you, I wouldn't be making the progress I have made in these last few days. I wished I would have came to you all sooner.
