Wow. Started going to K9 after the other place dropped the ball. Was a great experience at first. Then, realized someone different cut my dog's hair and didn't do a good job. From the beginning, I asked the owner, Kelcey (or I was told she was the owner), to do all the grooming for my dog. Not sure why they don't keep their system updated with my requests. Every. Single. Time, I have to remind them to grind and round my dog's nails, even after they tell me "It's updated in the system, you're good", but it's never in the system. After his grooming yesterday, they asked me for a review and I shared my concerns. At this point, the owner picks a fight with me over text and says they can no longer offer us their grooming services. The texts came from Kelcey, initially, so I'm unsure why the last text says it's from Kody... doesn't matter... I mean, if you don't want the review, maybe don't ask for it?! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Blows my mind... And let me add (since they wish to continuously harass), they never asked me what services I needed done. Because things were not being done correctly nor assigned to whom I requested, I'm the one who started asking what they have in their system and had to continue repeating myself because they update nothing, which is frustrating for me and unprofessional of them. They never asked me anything. Just felt the need to add this after Kelsey left her contentious response and lies. And her response is all you need to read to further explain their unprofessionalism. they are super friendly to SMALL BREED dogs and not "aggressive" breed dogs. if you have a small hand held dog im sure they will take ur dog in for anything but my dog went there and my dog is very nervous about leaving me sometimes and is a big baby to the point where my dog was hiding behind my legs as a bigger do, but she barked when she realized she was going to be left behind and began to bark and one lady said my dog was not welcomed because my dog was "aggressive". Another lady was helpful and saw my dog was very anxious but the one who said my dog wasn't welcome was also rude. read more

If you like dependability and professionalism don't go here. I have two dogs (small Schnoodle and mini golden doodle) the first time I went I dropped them off at 2pm and showed back up at 6:30 and sat in my car till 9:30pm waiting. I tried to be understanding bc they said someone quit that day and by golly I needed my dogs clean. The 2nd round with them was yesterday. Dropped off at 2 and sent my friends daughter to pick up and she goes into the place and was yelled at to "get out" which startled her to death. She waited till 7:30 and finally got dogs. I tipped the usual 20% and called to discuss it with them today. The excuse today was a groomer got bit and they got behind and she goes in order blah blah same day different story. Anyway, this lady didn't seem to care and made every excuse n the book and was rude to boot. Accused me of having a attitude (well rightfully so due to the situation) but I kindly reminded her if that was my nature I would have had shown that the first time. I was really just trying to get her to be professional and own up to the situation..apologize anything! Nope! Just find someone else. These people are not the ones if you love your dog. read more

I have Maltese dogs abs they are small. They had an appointment early in the morning and one of my dogs has a collapse trachea so she cannot get a whole lot of water on her face because it drowns her and she has a hard time breathing and I told them about her condition. I was suppose to pick her up early because if her condition I did not want to stress her out leaving her there all day. They did her last and did not get to pick her up until 6:00 pm. This was horrible for her because they drowned her face with water and we ended that night in the ER with her because she could not breath! read more

I'm VERY IMPRESSED!!! My poor baby (schnauzer/poodle mix) smelled like a DOG! I called and they obviously felt sorry for her and me. I took Pepper in and was amazed! There were MANY 4-legged babies there...different breeds, all different sizes, visible from the front desk being groomed, and amazing as this may sound, they all appeared to be smiling! Not one looked unhappy to be there. I am quite used to waiting a week or two, then waiting several hours to pick her up... not that I haven't appreciated the place I've used for years, but the convenient location, sooo many happy groomers, the building clean and lovely, and all the animals looking as if they had been invited to a party. The cuts were amazing on all these different breeds! All you need do is walk in the front door and see for yourself. Needless to say, I will go back! By the way, I tried to use Yelp for directions, but for some reason this was difficult... I have been coming to K9 Pro Cuts for a little over a year & my babies absolutely love it here. I used to live not too far from their location but moved to Madison a few months ago and for all of my babies grooming and boarding needs I make that trek and bring my babies to them. I own 2 Maltese dogs (My girl is 3 and my boy is 7 years old) . They both suffer from bad anxiety and so I am very careful & cautious with were I board them. The crew at K-9 treat my babies like family and they take the best care of them. The grooming there is also done extremely well and they are always cut just the way that I like them.
