I like to shop at this Petco store on Beltway and Wilson Road because it's conveniently located near the freeway entrance. There are also next to the stores I frequent, like Goodwill and Taco Bell. I have no issues with getting stuff off of the shelves. I don't need any help from anyone. The store has a logical layout. I found what I needed quickly. The cashier was efficient too. read more

Took my pup here during their vetco pop up for her routine vaccines. The booking process online was smooth and they were great with communication prior (reminders, what to bring, etc). It's located right within the Petco store. The pricing is pretty reasonable. They completed a heart worm test within ten minutes too. They offer exams as well, but we opted out of that. The staff was exceptional! They were so kind to me and sweet to my fur baby. She was very nervous and scared for the vaccines. They comforted her like she was their own! I was grateful for that. They deserve all the stars in the world. Thank you! read more

Worst customer service via phone. Called grooming dept. 3x. First time I got hung up on, second and third time it was ringing infinitely with no answer. Then i tried the main store, and got an answer after the phone ringing for at least 45 seconds, someone answered I asked to get in touch with the grooming dept. he said one moment while I get them for you. Back to infinite ringing. Tried calling the main store again, again the infinite ringing. Terrible customer service. I could probably drive the 23 minutes it takes to get there before being helped on the phone. read more

Petco - The toenail is completely token off!! - Pet Stores Near Me - Humble, Texas

If I could give this location 0 stars I surely would. My dog has a heart murmur and has since he was born. I have been coming for over 8 years to this same location, with no issue. Today Wayne (GM) and his grooming staff has decided that they cannot groom my dog. I have had all documentation sent over to them from the Vetco vet that states my dog can be groomed months ago and yet they have decided because they are too busy today that they cannot groom him. There are no notes in the system, yes my vet has sent something over numerous times. When I say I will never frequent this location again, I mean that. Honestly I would prefer to leave Petco all together because this is horrible, especially to a loyal customer. And to top it off, Wayne showed no sympathy, didn't try to come up with any other options and pretty much said oh well in so many words. He's a sorry excuse for a GM. read more

I have to leave this review. So a month ago I purchased purina dog food from here, took it home and later found out it was infested with these little blueish green beetles. After we finally got rid of all the bettles in our house and started purchasing the refrigerator food so we didn't get another infested bag, I purchased a big knee for my rotti to chew on. I went to cut it open and noticed those same blue green bettles in the plastic. I immediately threw the whole thing in the trash tired the bag and took it out to my outside trash can we are not going through that again. I will no longer purchase anything from this petco and the only reason I gave them 2 stars cause I can't say their store is infested it might be the warehouse they get their product from but if they are getting complaints and not doing anything about it that's in them as well. I have added a photo I found on Google so you can see what they look like. read more

Petco - Pet Stores Near Me - Humble, Texas

Robert is the associate that helped me out. My sister is in vet school and gave me the same advice he did. Thank you so much for helping me I would go to this Petco for any questions and products regarding your animal! You are the best Robert!! read more

Jainy is the WORST groomer in the area. She does not pay any attention to what you ask for your fur baby's grooming, she does whatever she wants, and then can't even do that right. and she is terrible at setting expectations. Bekah is the "manager' in their grooming salon, and she is just as awful. Arrogant and condescending if you have any issue at all. She can be decent to work with, only if you aren't questioning a terrible grooming experience. after 3 straight bad grooming appointments in the last year, I will not go back until they clean house of that salon staff. the rest of the store is top notch, but the grooming salon here is horrible. read more

This Petco is so awesome with my dog and her dog food. She is very picky. But, she enjoys this place. This customer service is not that good. I can deal with it. I love the cleanliness of the store. I would come back to this Store. read more

Do not take your dog to this Petco to be groomed. The staff is incompetent. They have one groomer who is decent, Jami, but she can't handle the volume. The others are terrible. The front desk guy is very young and incompetent and should not be working in the grooming department. I specifically requested a bath and teeth brushing. When I picked up my dog I could see crusties in his fur as if he had never been bathed. When I pointed it out the incompetent young man at the front desk he said "I thought I got those all out" and proceeded to pick at the fur with his nails until he removed the crusty debris. Really?! Who does that? I will never return to the grooming department of that Petco and it suggest you do not as well if you care about your pet. read more

This is the only place I take my fur babies for grooming. They do an amazing job and the staff is always friendly.

Fast and Friendly Service!!! Groomers experienced, gave me exactly what I asked for! My puppy was super clean and fresh and happy when I picked him up. You also have the opportunity to stay and watch the grooming service if you want. I will DEFINITELY be back with Domino! Thanks Petco! read more

My girlfriend and I always come here for all our aquarium and cat necessities. The staff are always helpful and have always given helpful and informed advise. read more

This place is wonderful! They had such clean tanks for the small animals and very polite employees. I would definitely come her for a pet. There's a lot of good supplies here! I think it is much better then PetSmart. There's just one thing I had a big problem with. Normally it's okay to have your pets in a small tank then needed for life because it's temporary, but the crested gecko tank was all wrong. The crested gecko tank was set up as if a bearded dragon was living there. They need up high and they spend most of there time in trees. And up high. I would definitely look into the cage changes. But overall the store was great! read more

Rude and uncaring staff in the grooming department. My dog has been groomed in various locations by many different groomers for almost 11 years without any issues yet I received a call that he was too scared to be groomed here and needed to be picked up mid-groom. Their terrible attitude was picked up by me and the same energy was obviously picked up by my dog. They are not qualified to be grooming your pet. read more

I don't have the words. They chopped up the hair of my dog. She is a Pomeranian terrier mix. She is a rescue. She had very long hair. What I got back...it looked like a 6 year old got a pair of scissors and did a at home hair cut. So sad. She looked so cute. I know it's hair and it will grow back. I did speak to management. I can't do it again. I will never bring my 2 dogs here again. read more

* I have returned several times, I like the store but I'm sad crystal left the grooming station. The 2 girls who were there this past Wednesday I didn't care for. One was not friendly and the other handle Abby rough. Will not be using the grooming anymore. But the store is fine. The 3 stars is for store only. read more

I prefer pets mart over petco any day. I was doing errands around this location and needed to get food etc for the kiddos. The store is just okay and the customer service is hit or miss read more

Horrible job. I basically paid $45 ( after being quoted $27 over the phone) for my pup to get his nails clipped. He still had eye crusties and a faint odor. So I'm assuming they basically dipped him in the water then took him back out. Kind of upset just because its not that hard to wipe his eyes and bath him. Guess if you want something done right you'll do it yourself. read more

This place is horrible, my dog went in for a bath, I specifically told them not to cut her nails (due to her nails being cut recently) and after I picked her up and brought her back home I noticed they had cut her nails and caused her to bleed... How could they not tell she didn't even need them cut?!? Don't trust them with your animals! read more

I'm a regular so everyone here knows me. I love the staff and the groomers. I have a cat, dog, and bearded dragon, all adopted from this store. Qian is a sales associate here and is extremely professional and courteous. He is by far my favorite associate at this store. read more

I have been here several times and it's always been a hit or miss. I kept going only because my dog was getting use to being groomed there. The disappointment and lack of professionalism that I have felt lately has made me believe now that the other reviews are accurate. I will never take my pup there again. read more

My Beagle had the most amazing experience. Julie was great, I highly recommend her and this facility for any grooming needs. Thank you Julie for an amazing grooming Kode looked like a different dog when I picked him up. read more

Grooming salon is super great! My dog always leaves looking perfect and smells really good!

I bring my dog here all the time for grooming since they are near my house. However, I'll never take my dog here again. Last time I took my dog here, the guy at the grooming desk was smoking something right in front of me through an electric pen. And just recently I dropped off my dog again to get shaved and they told me it would take 3-4 hours. It took them nearly 7 hours to finish and they never called me to update me about the status of my dog. I had to keep calling them to ask if he was ok or done yet. They are terrible in their grooming department! Never again will I take my poor baby there! read more
