Elissa worked with us 4-5 times, but mostly she gave me the understanding, skills and followup exercises to work with my dog myself. She explained behavior theory behind the exercises, showed me how to properly carry them out. She followed each training session with detailed notes and other resources. Success wasn't instant, but steady. With Elissa's help, I have a trustworthy companion whom I feel comfortable letting off leash.

I started as a foster with PORT in their early days of conception and fostered with them for…read moreseveral months before they decided to completely ghost me. I ran into a situation where I needed some work done at my home, and I could not continue to foster the FOURTEEN foster pets that I had through them at the time. Rather than work with me, help me, and have empathy for my situation, I experienced a lot of pushback, and negative reactions to needing a break from fostering. My phone calls and texts were not being returned. When they were returned, I was met with attitude and a complete lack of understanding or compassion. After much resistance, they finally took the fosters back. They don't supply their fosters with food or supplies as they claim. Not once was I given any supplies for the dozens of animals that I fostered through them, even when I expressed that the puppies I was fostering were going through more food than I could manage. They also don't spay and neuter most of their animals before adoption. Now that I am back in my home, neither Regan, nor Jaime, (the founders of PORT), will return my messages asking about the well-being of my former fosters. If you bend over and break your back for them, you'll be great. But God forbid life happens and you find yourself unable to help, because you then mean NOTHING to them. Proceed with caution should you decide to do any sort of business with PORT. Don't expect a lot of help. Definitely don't expect compassion and empathy when life happens. Edit in response to PORT's reply: Port requires a minimum of 5 days notice for return, except in cases of emergency. I had an emergency. I explained this to you guys over and over and over again and your response was, "that must be tough." I had a dog through you that was being aggressive with a child. But you guys didn't consider a threat to someone's safety an emergency and were of no help. In some cases, I waited more than 5 days for you to help; I waited literally weeks! Not to mention that that dog was pregnant, and when I took her, you never advised me that that was a possibility. So I ended up with eight puppies, when I agreed to one. It was never "clear to you" that our foster relationship had come to its conclusion and that I wished to step away. I quite literally told you that once I was back in my home, I would take the animals back if they still needed placement. I notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the puppies. You did not take them until July 18th, and that was only after I showed up to get their shots and microchips, and had to PLEAD with you to help me. I notified both of you that Rusty was a safety risk, and you literally did not care. Even after notifying you of the unsafe circumstances, it took you two days to take her, and that was only after I refused to give you any more leeway. That was also after I had notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the animals that I had. You did not take Rusty back until July 31st. I let you know on July 28th that I was having trouble getting the kittens adopted. I notified you on August 4th that we needed to move the kittens. You did not take them until August 15th. As for the spay/neuter, it's irresponsible for a rescue not to spay and neuter before adoption, regardless of any contract. I also asked, several times, about getting my fosters fixed, and you never followed through. Don't gaslight me. You did enough of that when I was actually fostering with you.

Andrew M. has been amazing whenever I took my pup there. The first time we went he didn't try to oversell me and cleaned up my dog perfectly - even giving me a coupon for the service. He has always listened to my needs and created a relaxing environment for my dog. Most recently, Andrew called to let me know that Rex's ears looked a little inflamed and advised that I take him to the vet to get them checked out. Sure enough he had a bad ear infection in both ears! If I didn't have a grooming appointment I would have had no idea. I'm so happy with the service I am getting from Petco and will continue to take my pup there for haircuts. If you're looking for a specific groomer, Andrew is great!

I received an alert that it had been delivered along with a photo. It was delivered to the wrong house. Or course the customer service rep offered either a refund or replacement, that would probably take a week to receive. My cats needed the food this week. I tried their auto ship service because it was a few dollars cheaper. But it's not worth the headache. I will be returning to Chewy. I have never had any issues with their auto ship service.

We had a miscommunication issue on the appointment time and they went out of their way to get her groomed that same day so that I did not have to traumatize the dog further than she already was being in a crate. I was so happy to get her cleaned up and am glad that I brought her to Train Your Pup. I would highly recommend TYP and if I did not have an earth dog would love to try Splash Your Pup too!

WARNING‼ ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!…read more*On Thursday October 17th 2019, I dropped off my Zula, my Frenchie, at Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook for 5 days of boarding. *I paid up front for her boarding through Monday. I paid via Cashapp. *On Saturday October 19th 2019, at 5:42pm I looked at my phone and saw that I had two missed calls, a missed FaceTime call, along with a voicemail message from Donald Bolton, the owner of Go Dogs Go. I returned his call and learned of Zula's death. *Bolton told me that Zula along with 6-7 other larger dogs were left unattended in the back yard of his business "for 10-15 minutes" and when he returned, Zula's dead body was being dragged by a particular dog. I had met this dog before so this didn't make sense to me. He was a friendly dog, and he and Zula enjoyed playing together. *Mr. Bolton offered to cremate Zula the next day. I responded that I would pick her up the next day immediately upon landing, and not to destroy my dog. *My flight landed Sunday October 20th at 12:30 pm. I arrived home by 1:45 pm. I unloaded my car with the assistance of four close friends, and went to pick up Zula's body. *The five of us arrived to Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook at approximately 2:15pm *MR. BOLTON BROUGHT ZULA OUT TO ME IN A TRASH BAG! She was soaking wet. He said that he was washing her when we arrived. The sight of my Zula brought out in a trash bag destroyed me. *Bolton spoke graphically about Zula's head being almost ripped off. *Kelly Capasso, the Practice Manager of Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic took the trash bag with Zula's body to her car and brought blankets so that she and her mother would be able to present her to me to say goodbye before Kelly took Zula back to the clinic for autopsy reports. *Mr. Bolton told Kelly to send him the veterinary bill. *Mr. Bolton then told me that when I am ready for a new dog that he would pay for it. I learned later that this was not offered out of kindness, it's the law. There are plenty more frustrating details to this story, but what I need pet lovers to know is that the state of Ohio considers dogs property. Replacement of property is all that I was legally owed. Even though my Zula was left unattended with several large dogs, for hours, there were no criminal charges that could be filed. This was negligent as hell, but I had no legal recourse. Whether our dogs live or die in their care, the facilities remain protected by law AND THEY KNOW IT! All they legally owe us is the adjusted value of the dead pet, which Bolton's insurance has paid. **Mr. Bolton STILL refuses to refund me the money I paid him in advance for dog the weekend she was killed and beyond. . We've been taking our 8 month old lab/mut mix to GDG for about 3 months now. He is so well behaved, happy, and well exercised since he has started going there. My husband and I work full time, so this is an economical solutions for us to have a happy dog at the end of the day. When we turn down the street approaching Go Dogs Go, you hear the sound of a tail wagging and whines of happiness coming from my back seat, because our pup knows EXACTLY where he is going. He can't get in the doors quickly enough. Thanks Mike and Don!
