    Fiona - spa day!

Jess does a great job keeping Fiona looking stellar - Golden retrievers can get pretty mucky, with mattes behind their ears and hairy paws. Fiona goes in wagging her butt and comes out smelling and prancing like a pony! Thank you Jess and the rest of the Bigger Road Staff for taking such great care of all our pups - Bigger Road, Better Life!

    A walk in the park!

Bigger Vet has the BEST trainers/programs - I would give them 10 stars, if I could! Olivia, Abby, and Katie are extremely knowledgeable in puppy/dog behavior and positive training methods - they speak D.O.G. :) Their creative and fun lessons all focused on positive reinforcement and consistency - Fiona and I have so much fun learning! Raising a adolescent pup isn't easy, but their Montessori classes and workshops are helping us raise a well-adjusted pup! Thank you - Highly recommend for the entire family!

Two of the best dogs ever, cared for by Bigger Rd Vet Clinic. These 2 (3 if you include the human) are daily runners; BRVC understands!

So, we have had dogs (and a cat for a while) for the past 25 years. Additionally, we've lived all over the world with the military. Bigger Road Vet Clinic is turning out to be one of the two best vets we've had in 25 years. First, our initial appointment was quite long but they went over all Maggie and River's information/medical history. Next, they lined up all the vaccines as they'd been about 3m off from each other. Third, Dr. Oakes gave us multiple options regarding food, flea/tick/worm prevention, etc. Most of the options were significantly cheaper than our current plan. Erica (VT) and Dr. Oakes were outstanding and took excellent care of our pups and we felt very comfortable with both of them. But wait, there's more! They have an online pharmacy which turns out to be cheaper for many things than 800PetMeds. And today? We find they've set us up on Petly.com and we have access to our pets' medical records!! Amazing. We are very happy with them so far!

Rosie is our beautiful kitty, who is not really fond of dogs!

For more than 25 years, we have trusted our pets' health to Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic. All of the veterinarians are intelligent, caring professional doctors, and Dr. Blakelock and Dr. Coe are two of the many top notch veterinarians that we have visited. At this time, we have one cat and a dog, but we had three cats before our new family, and they each lived well into their late teens, and one lived a happy life for 21 years. We thank Bigger Road Vet for their guidance and their professional services over the years. It is also very convenient that they have two locations: Kettering and Springboro. Our cat is a shy 7 year old healthy beauty, and our dog is a two year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Adopting a dog was new to us, and Bigger Road has provided for Charlie's health, her training, her socialization (wonderful day care, Erin!), her insurance, her medications, and her grooming (thanks Jessica!)!

Rest in Heaven Luna. We love you and miss you so much.

We recently had to put our beloved senior Border Collie to sleep. It was without question the hardest thing we've ever done and the worst day we've ever had. They were very patient and sympathetic and they didn't rush us. We were there a long time. Even after our Luna was gone we stayed with her awhile. They did her paw prints for us and put her in a respectful white bag for us to take her home and bury her in. Someday we'll have a new Border Collie and we'll take her there because they really care about the animals and the people.

Dr. Talmadge and the staff at Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic takes exceptional care of our sweet dog. Words can not express my sincere appreciation of the way they take care of her and help ease my anxious thoughts when she is ill. This is the BEST experience of all of the years being a pet owner I have ever had. Thanks again for everything. At 14 years old Konamalia is doing great!

Great experience. Uses food and treats to an extreme but kept the pup occupied while basic evaluations were completed.

For the sake of your animal's health, keep looking for a better vet. I wouldn't let these people trim my dog's nails.

I ran into a situation where I needed some work done at my home, and I could not continue to foster the FOURTEEN foster pets that I had through them at the time. Rather than work with me, help me, and have empathy for my situation, I experienced a lot of pushback, and negative reactions to needing a break from fostering. My phone calls and texts were not being returned. When they were returned, I was met with attitude and a complete lack of understanding or compassion. After much resistance, they finally took the fosters back. They don't supply their fosters with food or supplies as they claim. Not once was I given any supplies for the dozens of animals that I fostered through them, even when I expressed that the puppies I was fostering were going through more food than I could manage. They also don't spay and neuter most of their animals before adoption. Now that I am back in my home, neither Regan, nor Jaime, (the founders of PORT), will return my messages asking about the well-being of my former fosters. If you bend over and break your back for them, you'll be great. But God forbid life happens and you find yourself unable to help, because you then mean NOTHING to them. Proceed with caution should you decide to do any sort of business with PORT. Don't expect a lot of help. Definitely don't expect compassion and empathy when life happens. Edit in response to PORT's reply: Port requires a minimum of 5 days notice for return, except in cases of emergency. I had an emergency. I explained this to you guys over and over and over again and your response was, "that must be tough." I had a dog through you that was being aggressive with a child. But you guys didn't consider a threat to someone's safety an emergency and were of no help. In some cases, I waited more than 5 days for you to help; I waited literally weeks! Not to mention that that dog was pregnant, and when I took her, you never advised me that that was a possibility. So I ended up with eight puppies, when I agreed to one. It was never "clear to you" that our foster relationship had come to its conclusion and that I wished to step away. I quite literally told you that once I was back in my home, I would take the animals back if they still needed placement. I notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the puppies. You did not take them until July 18th, and that was only after I showed up to get their shots and microchips, and had to PLEAD with you to help me. I notified both of you that Rusty was a safety risk, and you literally did not care. Even after notifying you of the unsafe circumstances, it took you two days to take her, and that was only after I refused to give you any more leeway. That was also after I had notified you on July 10th that I could not handle all of the animals that I had. You did not take Rusty back until July 31st. I let you know on July 28th that I was having trouble getting the kittens adopted. I notified you on August 4th that we needed to move the kittens. You did not take them until August 15th. As for the spay/neuter, it's irresponsible for a rescue not to spay and neuter before adoption, regardless of any contract. I also asked, several times, about getting my fosters fixed, and you never followed through. Don't gaslight me. You did enough of that when I was actually fostering with you.

WARNING‼ ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!…read more*On Thursday October 17th 2019, I dropped off my Zula, my Frenchie, at Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook for 5 days of boarding. *I paid up front for her boarding through Monday. I paid via Cashapp. *On Saturday October 19th 2019, at 5:42pm I looked at my phone and saw that I had two missed calls, a missed FaceTime call, along with a voicemail message from Donald Bolton, the owner of Go Dogs Go. I returned his call and learned of Zula's death. *Bolton told me that Zula along with 6-7 other larger dogs were left unattended in the back yard of his business "for 10-15 minutes" and when he returned, Zula's dead body was being dragged by a particular dog. I had met this dog before so this didn't make sense to me. He was a friendly dog, and he and Zula enjoyed playing together. *Mr. Bolton offered to cremate Zula the next day. I responded that I would pick her up the next day immediately upon landing, and not to destroy my dog. *My flight landed Sunday October 20th at 12:30 pm. I arrived home by 1:45 pm. I unloaded my car with the assistance of four close friends, and went to pick up Zula's body. *The five of us arrived to Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook at approximately 2:15pm *MR. BOLTON BROUGHT ZULA OUT TO ME IN A TRASH BAG! She was soaking wet. He said that he was washing her when we arrived. The sight of my Zula brought out in a trash bag destroyed me. *Bolton spoke graphically about Zula's head being almost ripped off. *Kelly Capasso, the Practice Manager of Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic took the trash bag with Zula's body to her car and brought blankets so that she and her mother would be able to present her to me to say goodbye before Kelly took Zula back to the clinic for autopsy reports. *Mr. Bolton told Kelly to send him the veterinary bill. *Mr. Bolton then told me that when I am ready for a new dog that he would pay for it. I learned later that this was not offered out of kindness, it's the law. There are plenty more frustrating details to this story, but what I need pet lovers to know is that the state of Ohio considers dogs property. Replacement of property is all that I was legally owed. Even though my Zula was left unattended with several large dogs, for hours, there were no criminal charges that could be filed. This was negligent as hell, but I had no legal recourse. Whether our dogs live or die in their care, the facilities remain protected by law AND THEY KNOW IT! All they legally owe us is the adjusted value of the dead pet, which Bolton's insurance has paid. **Mr. Bolton STILL refuses to refund me the money I paid him in advance for dog the weekend she was killed and beyond. . Payments were required in advance for daycare packages.** It's all about money. Beware!! #JusticeForZula Dr. Williams

They texted the next day, saying all is fine. We just picked our pup up, Monday morning. They charged us for Tuesday. I guess I get that. The thing I don't get is that they brought her out and then said, "she didn't have any toys or anything did she?" We has taken 2 blankets, 2 bones and 1 toy. She went back and brought it all out then but I don't believe they had given it to her. It was still in the bag we brought it in. Blankets were still folded. It would have comforted her. I had taken training classes here with our dog and thought that we could trust them, as the classes were great. After returning home, we went to pick up our dog. First sign of something wrong should have been when the woman working there put on huge earphones just to walk in the kennel area. If it is that loud in there, imagine what it is doing to your dog. When our dog came out, he was very disoriented and and had dried feces all over his rear end. After taking him home and cleaning him up, he had raw open sores from where we removed the poop off of him. Prior to going into the kennel, he was very friendly, energetic, fun loving, basically one of the sweetest dogs you would ever meet. After returning home, he was extremely food aggressive and anytime that we would approach his crate when he was in it, he became aggressive...just not the same dog that we used to have. The only thing that I can guess is that he was put in a crate, inside of one of the kennel runs. He had to compete for food and learned to be aggressive. We have spent a lot of money trying to correct the behavior. If you love your dog, don't board him/her here. I wish I could have them shut down.
