I've checked out the website and plan on ordering some for family living out of town with pets. It seems like a great little bakery and a great place to shop for a gift for an animal/animal loving friend. It appears all the proceeds go to helping homeless youth and that makes this little shop even better! I plan on stopping into their bakery soon and will update my review then.

Just stopped by today! We'd driven past but the dog groomer Oregon Tails a few blocks away…read morerecommended them. We walked in and it smelled so good! Several of the kids working greeted us and asked if they could pet our small dog. We had left my boyfriend's dog at home which I regretted because he would have loved to come, but we were not sure if it was a place the dogs could come in or not. We ended up leaving with way more treats than we intended but that's okay! The dogs love them, and they are full of healthy delicious things! $5 for a bag of treats isn't bad! After all the recalls on corporate dog treats and whatnot this is probably the only place we will get dog treats! Plus, everyone there is really nice!

I will preface this by saying that I did talk to a manager after this and she was very helpful in…read morefinding out what happened and apologetic, however that doesn't correct the actions of the employees throughout the day. I scheduled my two dogs for an evaluation last Friday. I was told to have them there by 9:30am, evaluation at noon, and then pick any time after 3pm. It was around 2:45pm and I hadn't heard anything all day, so I called and was told that my dogs had not been evaluated yet but they were about to within the next 15 minutes, it would take 15-20 minutes to complete, and they would call me when they were done so I could come get them. 4pm came around and I hadn't heard anything, so I just went to get them anyways. When I got there, I immediately could tell something was off. The employee at the counter just stared at the computer for minutes, not saying a word. She then went to the back office for a few minutes, returned to the desk and continued to just be on the computer. I could tell by her body language that something was wrong. She finally walked off to get my dogs, but I heard her call on the radio asking where they even were. When she brought them out, she just handed them to me and didn't say anything. I had to ask if they passed, in which she replied, "no, they were too nervous and you'll have to come back and do it again." She could not give me any details about how they acted or what the evaluation had consisted of. Something didn't feel right about this entire interaction, so I called to speak with a manager. There were no notes on their account, so the manager went to talk to other employees to find out what happened. Turns out they were incorrectly booked and did not receive an evaluation at all, and instead were "day-boarded". I understand that miscommunications happen, but explicitly lying is unacceptable. When I call to check on their evaluation and am told that they are about to do it but then never follow up, and then I pick them up and am lied to again about how their evaluation went. Just tell me they got booked wrong. Or when I called to check on their evaluation, do it then since that should have alerted you that there had been a miscommunication. That's all you had to do. Instead, the employees felt the need to fabricate a story and place the blame on my dogs' behavior instead of their mistake. PetSuites has completely lost my trust in their ability to care for my dogs and I will not be returning.

So this will be my last time receiving service from them.

Anyway, I found this company through a link on local dog meetup group in Dayton. It said they were offering 50% off for new customers, but it also said I had to contact someone in particular using an email that wasn't from this business. I found that a bit suspicious and just called them directly. The owner did not know about that special, but she did honor the first time customer discount. Kudos! I expressed to her that I am very picky about my dog's grooming. She seemed understanding and told me they groom a lot of poodles. Good! When I got there, I was almost immediately greeted by someone who had paperwork for me and held my dog while I competed it. The groomer was across the room grooming another dog and was also asking me how I wanted my poodle groomed. What happened?! I think I was transported into poodle grooming heaven. What?! A place that seems to care and is running efficiently and is willing to honor a discount! OMG! Okay...when is the shoe going to drop? I left my poodle in their care. I came back approximately 2.5 hours later. My poodle was completed and the cut was done well. Thank you so much! I appreciate a business that actually follows thru, especially with a family member. I also like the location because the Dorothy Lane Kroger's is across the street. So, I can do my grocery shopping & get gas...all while the dog is getting groomed! Love it! BTW, they have do it yourself dog bathing or you can have them do it. The only criticism I have is that I had asked for no perfumes/colognes of any kind; I stated that and wrote it down on the form. My poodle had some kind of powder (?) that had a smell I didn't care for. It was the usual stuff that a lot of groomers use. I will be sure to stress that preference next time. Overall, my first experience there was very good. I gave the groomer a nice tip and was on my way. I recommend them! :)

I said the prior owner never charged extra, was was informed that she is no longer the owner and, their words, the TORCHURE they would put my pups through costs extra. WHAT? I suggested they cut the mats close and a few weeks later we could groom them as normal. They refused and told me to pay the extra amount or come pick them up. Well, I don't pay the normal amount and expect them to be TORCHURED much less pay more for that. I picked them up. . Please, if your dogs are anxious about going there, maybe they aren't being taken care of the way they should. If I could rate less than a 1 I would.

I will NEVER return to this store. I stopped by Aquatics Galore this past Sunday 1/30/2022 with…read moreboth my sons and as I entered their reptile room, I was quickly horrified at the conditions their animals were being kept in. The first thing I noticed is the overwhelming odor of rodent urine. The reptiles are kept in the same room as the breeding feeder rodents, and it's quite apparent the enclosures for the rodents are filthy and saturated with feces and urine. All their rodents are kept in glass tanks which does not allow for proper ventilation for any mammal and there are between 6-12+ animals in each tank. There is visible feces in each tank and they're just filthy. They have a large variety of reptiles kept in awful conditions. Multiple animals per enclosure on dirty paper towels with rotting food and dirty water dishes, not one animal in the entire room had a proper UVB fixture if they even had one at all (T5HO fixtures are the standard for any and all animals that require UVB as coil bulbs and T8 fixtures have been tested and proven inadequate), they had cards with (improper) husbandry requirements written on them that were clearly not being adhered to. Dirty, bare, inappropriate housing far too small for the majority of the animals they're "caring for". Multiple of the animals are dehydrated, emaciated, and lethargic likely due to improper diet, lack of clean water, lack of biologically appropriate heat and lighting, and filthy living conditions. What really sealed it for me was this Spiny Chameleon that is quite literally dying. So horribly emaciated and dehydrated that it can't even grip using all of its toes. I can't even confidently say this animal would survive transport to a home setting. Chameleons require specialized and specific care and husbandry, and are incredibly fragile animals. One misstep in husbandry can quickly result in a dead chameleon. Chameleons physically will not drink from a water dish, they hydrate both my drinking water droplets from leaves and also by absorbing humidity from the air during necessary nighttime spikes in humidity. All of the chameleons at Aquatics Galore were housed with fake plants (impaction risk and encourage bacteria growth), water droppers with tubes leading down to water bowls at the bottom of the enclosures (useless as Chams will not drink from bowls) and little to no foliage cover for security. Stress will absolutely kill a chameleon and being constantly exposed will lead to major stress. There is also a large glass dome front enclosure housing multiple species of tree frogs (varying species of tree frogs shouldn't be housed together as they can and will eat each other). This tank had red eyed tree frogs and whites tree frogs together in a wet, bacteria filled, filthy environment. Whites Tree Frogs are not a rainforest dwelling species and their adult daytime humidity requirements are no more than 40%, yet this whites tree frog was sitting at the bottom of this tank with about an inch of standing water and rotten moss(impaction risk), mold, and maggots crawling everywhere. Not to mention their prices for these sick and dying animals are far more than is reasonable for healthy individuals, let alone ones being kept in such despicable conditions. I reached out to the guy that appeared to be taking care of this room and explained all the major problems I saw. He seemed receptive which is good. I told him I would take the dying chameleon and try to save it, but I ethically could not pay money for it. He went to speak to someone, I'm assuming either owners or management, and they refused to let me take the animal or even offer a discount on it. I left without the chameleon, heartbroken at the conditions all these poor animals were being kept in. These people would really rather let this animal suffer and ultimately die for a chance to make a few dollars off of it then give it a sliver of a chance at recovery and life. I took photos and included them. These animals are being kept in conditions that I can only describe as criminal neglect. Absolute disgusting. How folks can own and run an exotic animal store and fail to treat these animals with even the most basic of respect is beyond me, but whoever owns and runs this place should be deeply ashamed and truly look within and ask themselves why they're in the exotics business. I will never return to this store. I urge all of you to take your business elsewhere when it comes to feeders and exotic animals. It's really embarrassing when the Petsmart up the road has (slightly) better husbandry and care for their animals, as any exotic animal enthusiast knows corporate pet stores truly don't have any idea how to care for the animals they sell. I don't even know what else to say about this, but I'm disgusted and appalled. Shit like this is exactly why people advocate against the keeping of exotic animals. Southern Ohio really doesn't have one good quality exotic store and it's sad for the hobby

WARNING‼ ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!…read more*On Thursday October 17th 2019, I dropped off my Zula, my Frenchie, at Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook for 5 days of boarding. *I paid up front for her boarding through Monday. I paid via Cashapp. *On Saturday October 19th 2019, at 5:42pm I looked at my phone and saw that I had two missed calls, a missed FaceTime call, along with a voicemail message from Donald Bolton, the owner of Go Dogs Go. I returned his call and learned of Zula's death. *Bolton told me that Zula along with 6-7 other larger dogs were left unattended in the back yard of his business "for 10-15 minutes" and when he returned, Zula's dead body was being dragged by a particular dog. I had met this dog before so this didn't make sense to me. He was a friendly dog, and he and Zula enjoyed playing together. *Mr. Bolton offered to cremate Zula the next day. I responded that I would pick her up the next day immediately upon landing, and not to destroy my dog. *My flight landed Sunday October 20th at 12:30 pm. I arrived home by 1:45 pm. I unloaded my car with the assistance of four close friends, and went to pick up Zula's body. *The five of us arrived to Go Dogs Go in Bellbrook at approximately 2:15pm *MR. BOLTON BROUGHT ZULA OUT TO ME IN A TRASH BAG! She was soaking wet. He said that he was washing her when we arrived. The sight of my Zula brought out in a trash bag destroyed me. *Bolton spoke graphically about Zula's head being almost ripped off. *Kelly Capasso, the Practice Manager of Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic took the trash bag with Zula's body to her car and brought blankets so that she and her mother would be able to present her to me to say goodbye before Kelly took Zula back to the clinic for autopsy reports. *Mr. Bolton told Kelly to send him the veterinary bill. *Mr. Bolton then told me that when I am ready for a new dog that he would pay for it. I learned later that this was not offered out of kindness, it's the law. There are plenty more frustrating details to this story, but what I need pet lovers to know is that the state of Ohio considers dogs property. Replacement of property is all that I was legally owed. Even though my Zula was left unattended with several large dogs, for hours, there were no criminal charges that could be filed. This was negligent as hell, but I had no legal recourse. Whether our dogs live or die in their care, the facilities remain protected by law AND THEY KNOW IT! All they legally owe us is the adjusted value of the dead pet, which Bolton's insurance has paid. **Mr. Bolton STILL refuses to refund me the money I paid him in advance for dog the weekend she was killed and beyond. . Payments were required in advance for daycare packages.** It's all about money. Beware!! #JusticeForZula Dr. Williams
