This place was fun. Took my chihuahua to get a nice bath. We got to pick from different fragrances of shampoo. We bathed him and tried to blow dry him... he was scared of the dyer so I just towel dried him. Once he was done we looked to see what was in the shop. We bought him a cute komona shirt. They also have shampoo and conditioner you can buy and take home. The bath was reasonably priced. The shirt we bought was around $13. I think the shampoo was for sale was like $20 but they did have different types and fragrances. I and my dog Brutus approves this place! read more

oakwood location - inappropriate behavior by self identified business owner toward my wife when she was there alone on a previous visit. then again a second time on 2/25/26, with similar inappropriate behavior toward my daughter, with me standing right there in front of him. overly familiar and intrusive, asking inappropriate personal questions, the guy is somewhere on the spectrum. poorly behaved dogs strolling about making my dog nervous, and trying to get a whiff of my 60 year old crotch to boot. we won't be back...ever! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I paid for the Furminator and nail trimming for my chocolate lab. When she came over to me, I picked up her paw, not only were the nails not filed, she had a nail that was bleeding. She was shaking scared, so, I gave her a big hug and started to pet her. She smelled like wet dog and hair was flying everywhere. She also had dried white stuff all over her snout???? I asked what they did to remove her loose hair (Furminator) and they said that they washed and dried her. What????? I asked for a brush and the attached picture is what I got off of her in their lobby during a 5 minute brushing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! read more

This is for the Oakwood/Dayton location. Would like to give a higher rating but I've had a bad experience that needs shared. First there are dogs out like in a "doggy daycare setting" and was not told that when scheduling. I brought both of my dogs in for a scheduled appointment. When entering, the dogs all approached mine to greet them. My dogs aren't used to being around other dogs and are usually nervous in these settings. After about a minute of being inside, my golden doodle was then attacked by a black lab. Luckily the owner of the shop was able to break them up but it lasted for atleast 10 seconds. Staff members checked her right after the incident and she seemed to be fine. Right after incident I asked if they mandated rabies vaccines and they said " we do not but if your dog has her's she should be fine". I got a call later from the groomer stating that the black lab actually broke skin and left a small hole. The bite happened very close to her jugular vein. Found out when I went to pick up my dogs that the owner of the black lab was present at time of incident. They stated that she offered to pay for grooming services and even vet bill. They then said they tried calling her a couple times to give cost of grooming and she never returned their call. I was told at that time to update them after I take my dog to the vet. The groomer stated "there is a whole process. The other dog may need to quarantine if they don't have their vaccine". Monday morning I took my dog into the vet. Vet was extremely surprised it wasn't worse. He said even though bite was close to her jugular vein that she would not need stitches. He did prescribe antibiotics Incase of an infection. Vet then made a comment about her ears and said they "should have plucked her ears out also". This lead me to check my other dog and realized they didn't even cut her nails either. Same day on Monday I called into Wash Your Dog and spoke directly to the groomer. She told me that the owner was not in, but that be would be back the next day. I explained that she told us to call with an update and that we were told that they would speak to the other owner about our vet expenses. The next day I did not hear back from the owner so I decided to call. When I spoke to him he stated he never received my message! When I proceeded to update him on the vet visit he responded with "what would you like us to do at this point?". I reiterated what we were told the day of the incident and that I was hoping that the owner would cover my golden doodle's vet expenses. He asked what the total cost was and stated that he would "call her as soon as we got off of the phone". I proceeded to tell him that my dogs also did not get full services that I paid for including nails not being cut and golden doodle's ears not being plucked. He apologized and told me to come in the next day. I made sure to check if the other dogs could be put up during their services. He said "absolutely" and to "just come in tbe back door". When I arrived the next day I took my dogs in one at a time. Dogs were out again and I had to request that they were put up. Groomer didn't even seem to know that I would be coming in. In summary, my low rating is based on: ° Not being warned ahead of time about dogs roaming free ° My dog being attacked and bit ° They don't require rabbies vaccines ( which with 2 above other points could be bad for future possible attacks) ° Needing to make a vet visit due to attack ° Owner not being responsive nor following through with his promises (a phone call atleast stating he was unable to reach the other owner could have sufficed) ° Not getting full services that were paid for and then having to return to get them done Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I was discounted at initial visit due to attack and they were very apologetic. My hope is that others can see this and possibly think otherwise before making an appointment to avoid the same situation. Especially if your dog is not used to being around other dogs. I will not be back. I have also still yet to receive a call from the owner. read more

He did a great job with Cody our big white husky who sheds bucket...He was very kind to help me get him in to be groomed....last time he backed out of his collar and bolted like only a Husky can do...he ran and ran lucky a nice lady in an SUV saw him got out and brought him to her he loves women lucky for us. lol read more

Went to take my dog there yesterday for a bath. Could not get in the front door. There were 5 dogs running loose and two were fighting. There is no way I will ever take my dog there. They saw us at the front door and did not even try to apologize. The man there was cleaning up dog poop on the floor and yelling at the two fighting. I suggest anyone thinks twice before leaving their dog with them for grooming. read more

Sooooo I dropped my Labradoodle off here, and had the most horrific experience. I was hesitant to even leave him after the staff member snapped at my daughter for opening the door to enter the building. This staff member had several animals out and was clearly unable to care for them all. My dog was afraid of all the dogs out and was hiding under the desk. I grabbed him and decided to go ahead and leave him anyway. When I returned to get him, the staff member again had all the dogs out, so much so, that my 11 year old did not want to fully enter the building. So my son came in with me while she waited in space in between entrances. When my son went to walk out ,the staff's dog tried to get out. He was unsuccessful and wasn't even close to making it to the second door when the staff member screamed and cursed at me and my children. He yelled, "G*ddammit" and called my son "a little piece of sh*t." I have never been to a place where such a incompetent person was responsible for all of those animals, and feels he has the right to verbally attack customers and children at that. To top it off my dog wasn't even clean after all of that. I don't recommend anyone going to this place.....we will never return. read more
