We love bringing our dog here. He is a Doodle/ Great Pyrenees mix and has very thick and shaggy fur. They always do a great job of cleaning him up and grooming him and it's a great price. We will continue to bring him here for all his grooming needs!

Our cat was handed to is without being brushed out. Clumps of hair were falling off of her.

Unless the cat groomer is preparing for an upcoming reality show on Animal Planet called World's Worst Cat Groomers, she did a horrible job. We picked up our cat and there were clumps of hair stuck to her. We were unable to determine if her hair had even been cut. We asked if the groomer could take her shorter. She was given a quick 3 minute recut. She was instantly handed back to us with clumps of hair stuck to her. She was not even brushed. Her hair is now uneven and we spend 10 minutes brushing her out when we got home. While we were waiting, we overheard another customer ask for a recut.

    Red marks.

This was the worst experience I've ever had getting my sweet puppy groomed. That says a lot, because I thought I'd had worse. My fiancée and I were very thorough with Alyssa, the receptionist, with what was needed from the start. We discussed estimated time for a groom, our preference of styling, questions regarding the quality and type of bathing products used/needed, the list goes on. Alyssa had me write down all my contact information. We were very clear that we wanted a call the minute our puppy was finished with her groom, because she's a puppy and doesn't like unfamiliar places, understandably so. We also don't like being without her longer than necessary either, so anything other than a prompt callback so we could pick her up would be a losing scenario for us all. We were assured and promised this callback would happen. We even had Alyssa read the contact number back to ensure there weren't any questions about it. Of course the call didn't happen. The estimated time for a groom was 1-1.5 hours. It had been almost 2 hours with no word, so we went into the salon and found our puppy whining in a crate, without any idea of how long she'd been there. Fantastic. She wasn't herself the whole car ride. She wasn't herself two hours after getting home. When we got her home, my fiancée and I checked her out. The thing that was most notable was her face. We asked for her face to not show any pink. Meaning, we didn't want her face cut so short we could see skin. Well, that was butchered, because we saw plenty skin clear down into her nose. We were assured a sanitary trim would be included in the groom after the bath. There was poop in her fur still when she got home. So how clean could she have gotten during that bath? She certainly wasn't clipped for sanitary reasons either that I could see a difference of. She also had mats that needed to be cut out (we took the time to do this at home). Mats everywhere. My puppy has never, ever had a mat because I brush her regularly and ensure she looks great and feels great. Alyssa confirmed she had no mats prior to being handled. Her fur was so soft, fluffy and clear you could run your hand right through it easily. So to go to the groomer and come home with mats so bad that they needed to be cut out? That's some awful irony right there. But what makes me angrier than anything - ANYTHING - is that our puppy had red marks near her bottom leg after this ordeal. She has no allergies that we're aware of, and we asked if she had dry skin, because we were going to ask for a special oatmeal bath if Alyssa felt it necessary during the consultation. Nope, that checked out. No dry skin, no marks, no sign of anything to be concerned with. We asked about organic bathing products in case they weren't the standard to happily upgrade for them. Was informed that the owner, Deb, is very natural and organic-conscious and that all the products used in the salon were of such quality. Huh. So either the products weren't as described or our pup was trimmed too close! Not comforting at all. The next day I called to speak with the owner and had a 15-minute call. She listened, was friendly, shocked to hear what happened, and at times, seemed outraged. She was going to refund my money despite saying she normally doesn't do that, and would typically instead offer up a redo. But since I requested the refund, I got it. Awesome I thought! When I got the refund check, it was short $12. $12 is $12. Confused, I called back and spoke to Deb. She was absolutely rude this time. I never took a nasty tone with her, just was confused with what happened since a refund was graciously approved to begin with. Somehow I ended up being made to feel guilty, and was asked, "Just tell me what you want." Well, as discussed the first time, a refund. Anywhere in America, a refund is a refund, as in a full refund. The whole experience was unsatisfactory - everything, plain and simple. This was known. This shouldn't have been a question. I shouldn't have had to clarify and be ridiculed about not clarifying that. Shouldn't have had the amount of time it took to detail all the complaints thrown up in my face. Really, if you feel the need to throw up 15 minutes to a customer, you shouldn't be in business. I shouldn't have been informed that if I ask for a full refund, tip too, the person who did a hack-job wouldn't get paid and told they were doing their best. That's not my problem. If they did their best, I would have been satisfied and wouldn't have called twice. I broke down the numbers to Deb straight from the receipt and she made me hold while she calculated the difference to "make sure we are on the same page." Basic math, and she wanted to hijack the call and act as if I wanted more than I paid, and then said "I'd hate for you to have to call again and say I shorted you .2"! By the way, took a week to get the second check. Had to call a third time and my call was ignored by Deb. Never again.

This place is awesome! I took my dog on a whim here one day because he was smelling pretty bad, and I had enough! I found this place on Yelp, and found out I could just walk in to get my dog bathed, nails trimmed, and ears cleaned. I even got to pick a moisturizing shampoo..because he has dry skin. And he got a super cute bandana! The price wasn't too bad.. around $40 and the people were friendly.

I went here today for the first time and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a groomer. The staff was so amazing (thanks again Alyssa Bennett for having the answers to all of my questions, Cassie for doing a fabulous job on my Jack who not only looked great but smelled amazing and Shonda for some helpful hints on keeping his eyes clean) . We will definitely be going back.

    So happy!

Wonderful! I took my golden retriever to get shaved & bathed. He's never looked better! I also can't believe how cheap it was. We're both very happy!!

They butchered our Morkie. Very rude. Asked for a refund.

A number of professionals worked with us to find relief for our dog. They contacted our previous vet for us to get records and even patiently waited when "put on hold" to get further details about previous treatments. All questions were kindly answered, our input was welcomed, and we were included in all of the treatment (drawing blood, administering fluids...). Just a couple of hours after the appointment, we were emailed a detailed (4 pages) document, recording all that transpired during the visit. To top it all off, everything was affordable and everyone was so very pleasant!

She took her in to see Dr. Callejo in the Springboro Office. I had taken my dog there in the past. She wanted $720 to do 5 ex-rays and NO blood work. After agreeing to blood work, she said what she was doing would not show signs of cancer at rate of $420. She said her annual office visit is $420 with blood work. The tech suggested on doing 2 ex-rays so it would be less expensive. Dr. Callejo refused saying she wanted 5 ex-rays. It then became quite obvious that Dr. Callejo was strictly out for money. When I was going there, the vet cared about the animal and was much more compassionate and willing to work with you. When your pet is sick you want someone that cares about the animal not just the money. She could have done 1 or 2 ex-rays not 5 and then determined what else was needed. I will never recommend them again. What a sad experience.

I took him to Kenzie's K9 Design (who was VERY responsive to Yelp messages for a quote) and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. I told them I was okay with even shaving him (regardless of that not being ideal for double coated dogs) because of how matted he was in spots. They didn't need to! They gave him back to me happy, clean, trimmed, and with all his undercoat blown out. By far the most thorough grooming he's ever had because even a week later he's not shedding everywhere like he did even after a trip to our old groomers. I will most definitely be bringing him back for his next grooming sesh.

My two small dogs are incredibly well behaved, ESPECIALLY at the grooming salon. They've both been getting groomed professionally for 2 & 6 years. Their normal groomer just graduated from college and accepted a job in her field and my dogs needed some TLC ASAP. Kenzie's had same day availability and now I understand why. I dropped my dogs off at about 11:15 am and received a call at 1 pm that they were ready--THE fastest groom I have ever witnessed. I picked them up and was stunned. After getting them home, I realized they were still dirty. My dog gets anxious and poops when he's in new places--there was still poop on his butt & tail from when I dropped them off less than 2 hours earlier. I immediately sent photos and videos to my long-time groomer and she assumed I groomed them myself. She was SHOCKED to hear that I paid for these services and started noticing that they didn't even look like they were cleaned or even. I've tried calling the salon to discuss these issues but have been unable to reach them. I'm absolutely appalled at this service and would never recommend anyone take their dogs to this establishment.
