I love going here when I need a deeper, more thorough groom for my VERY sheddy dog! Petbar offers a desheding add-on, which I've found to be very effective (however, only effective if done sparingly, like every 6 months). But I can tell a huge different pre- and post- deshed treatment. My dog is also very anxious and hates baths but the staff always comment about how sweet and well-behaved she is, so they clearly know how to handle varying personalities of dogs. read more

I just started taking my dog here for self-washes. I just love the set-up and the atmosphere and the employees have always been very friendly. I like how the drying areas are like Old Navy fitting rooms. There are walls in between and a grooming table, just no door. You don't have as much fur from other dogs flying around you. And my dog is less likely to be distracted by other dogs like if we were in an open area. The first time I went, I didn't realize my dog was having a bad digestion day. I left the drying room and had no idea he had left liquid poo. A staffer told me only because it was liquid and she was concerned. I know she was not trying to make me feel bad. She insisted on cleaning it up when I offered to and kept reassuring me. I was so mortified so of course I left a tip. Speaking of tipping, I like they don't put you on the spot about it. The last dog grooming place I went to just changed their practice. Now at the register, they ask you point blank even for a self wash if you want to leave a tip for the person who simply gathers the bucket, shampoo and conditioner bottles for you. The way they ask they kind of guilt you. And I've just felt tipping fatigue where it seems every aspect of daily life warrants tipping. Anyway, I like petbar so much, I'm willing to delay my dog's bath if Petbar happens to be closed. read more

Only visited once as Gaby's haircut was very cookie cutter and she is not. If you just want a fast clean and cut, this place is perfect for that. I was a tad skeptical when they said she needed some 'add ons' so they did them for free this time but next time there would be a charge for them. My dog became extremely ill after visiting this location. Super busy and loud. Not a relaxing place for dogs at all. A dog in the lobby lunged at us, which obviously isn't the businesses fault but it just describes the level of chaos the environment is. They did an external anal gland release and it totally messed my pup up. I also got mixed up with another dog owner and they called me after about 30 minutes telling me my dog was ready to be picked up, they then quickly called back to let me know my dog was in fact NOT ready and to not come yet. Super weird experience. My poor girl is now on meds to help her go number 2. The vet also found it strange they did not ask for her vaccination record or status. The girl at pet bar specifically told me "oh we don't care at all about that for grooming". I should have known right there. read more

Staff was nice and helpful. Place was clean . I was disappointed that they shaved him down after specifically saying we want to keep him long and shaggy. I feel like this is what happens at most places now . They find it easier to just shave them down instead of cut them. I will come back and try self service grooming. But not going back for grooming . Since my last review, I have taken my Bod doodle in about three more 4 more times. They always do the same thing and just shave them down. I've even taken him in for a shampoo and wash and three weeks later. They said he was so mad that they can't even wash him. They find any excuse to just do the easy shave down. We have a new dog Maltese Shih Tzu mix. She's been groomed by another groomer two times that listened to direction and it was very easy to work with. I took her to pet bar for the first time because it is closer. I showed groomer photos of exactly what I wanted. And somehow still came out with a shaved dog . I agree with the other reviews if you're OK with your dog getting shaved this is a great place for you. Shampoo and washes and face trims are great here but that's about it. read more

Making a reservation was easy over the phone. Staff was friendly. I recently adopted my dog and this was his first grooming. I appreciated their patience since I have a very anxious dog and he seemed to do well. I dropped my dog at the scheduled time to get a haircut and he was ready in about 1:30-1:45 hrs. Pricing was comparable to other places. My 15 lb dog haircut was $65 without the tip. They also offer membership services as well if you are interested in unlimited monthly washes which include 4 washes per month. Price varies depending on weight but they start at 39.99 per month. They also have an option for self service washes. I think location is great and you can do a supermarket run or hangout at Starbucks while you wait. I will probably be returning. read more

I've taken my last 2 dogs here. My poor Mo passed in 09/23 and they always did a really good job. The self serve option is really nice, convenient and reasonably priced. All employees are obvious dog lovers. I just took my new little guy Roo for his first grooming today. We were quickly scheduled and were immediately assisted upon showing up for our appointment. The groomer met with me and Roo and was very conscientious that he was very nervous to leave me for the first time. She had him done within the time frame she provided and he looked great. read more

I have been taking my dog here for almost a year and they have done an amazing job! However today I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I brought my dog in for a wash, and the staff had her for an entire hour and a half, but when I got home, it was clear the job hadn't been done properly. My dog still had tons of lose fur in her that I needed to brush out. Which has not happened in the past when i've taken her in. It seemed the clean was rushed as if they had forgot about her until I showed up to pick her up. After paying for a full wash, I expected my dog to come out looking and feeling fresh. Instead, I had to re-groom her at home, which completely defeats the purpose of taking her in for professional service. It's frustrating to spend that much time and money for such a lackluster result. Hoping for a better experience next time because overall I really do enjoy this business and the service they offer. read more

I think it's a fantastic idea and awesome way to wash your dogs outside of your house eliminating the mess of having to clean up afterwards and having everything at your finger tips that you need from aprons, towels, different soap and rinse settings, high power blow dryer, brushes and ear and face wash. Absolutely shaved my dog clean. They only care about a quick turn around and money. When I didn't tip, they looked down and said my card didn't go through, why don't I try again? Gave me a long explanation about why it was impossible to keep him with any hair when a previous groomer there did a great job but no longer works there. There were no notes in my file to help them either. Automatically defends their groomers and wrote a novel to me about why their opinion is right. I would absolutely never go here again, terrible customer service and my dog has a cut under his armpit now which the owner explained away in a long text to my personal phone, which is unprofessional enough. read more

This is a new dog bathing and grooming facility. They have beautiful washing stations where you can bathe your dog yourself. They give you everything you need to do it. If your dog is large, there is even a ramp for the dog to get into the tub. If you don't want to do it yourself, they will do it for you at an additional fee. They also do grooming. Charged $145 for a smooth coated dachshund & basset hound. Only baths, I specially asked them to make sure my dogs nails were cut as short as possible and asked upon picking up and the woman lied to my face. They didn't even touch their nails and my basset hound still had dirty ears. Will not be returning, save your money and go elsewhere. read more
