So I usually go here to get my dog washed because they do a decent job. She's up to date on all her vaccines and shots. BUT you have to have proof (non decal on leash) for them to take care of your pet! Couldn't schedule for Sunday due to fact my vet closes on Saturday at noon and not open Sunday; As well as the fact that she has been going here for the past two months and she's in the system. A few years back, my chihuahua developed a stomach gastrointestinal issue, meaning he needs special food. We buy Hill Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach for him, but often when we visited Petsmart, they didn't have it in stock. We noticed Pet Supplies Plus on Delhi one day and decided to check it out and we just love this store now! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by team members and if anyone sees you in an aisle, they'll ask if you need any help. They're always stocked with the Sensitive Skin and Stomach food so we always know our pup will have what he needs. Plus they carry a huge variety of great alternative treats, like rawhide free chews to keep our new puppy interested and chewing on the appropriate item without messing with her digestion. They've also got tons of supplements such as joint and liver support oils for your pets. My favorite part of the store is the rewards program, which you can earn points and coupons with. Recently we got a 25% off coupon for our entire purchase, which goes a long way when you're feeding a golden retriever puppy; that food is expensive and goes quick! As an obsessive pet parent, I was so excited when this location opened close to me. Before that, I only had the Kroger pet selection (not bad, admittedly), the Jack's (not a great selection of anything useful) or a long drive to a Petsmart as options. I've liked the chain since a prior location near Glenway Crossing that closed years ago. The prices are quite reasonable, the staff is friendly and attentive, the selection is great, and the store is always clean. I also like visiting with the adorable adoptable kitties at the front of the store. My heart warms to see the donation bins as well, because of course it does. I've been able to find pet food brands and litter brands here that I couldn't find at the other above mentioned options, and once, when they were out of the large size bags of litter that were reasonably priced compared to the smaller ones, they were willing to adjust the price. I love going in to browse how best to spoil my fur babies. read more

Pre Covid: The few times I've been help has been nowhere to be found. Their selection has been lacking from treats to bedding for both cats and dogs. Post Covid: they do not respect your medical conditions per the mandate and ask you to leave and order online. Even if there is nobody in the store. It's a shame because the location is very convenient. Will not be buying from there anymore and do not recommend even before this pandemic. read more

I signed up for the pet rewards program and earned a free bag of dog food after a year of purchasing - buy 11 get one free. I forgot that I had earned the bag at the time of purchase and came back to the store with the receipt and they refused to honor the coupon. I would have just used the coupon the next month, as I just bout a 28 lb bag at $46.98, except that the coupon expires within a month of earning it! I bought in the coupon before it expired but they refused to honor it or allow me to use it on my next purchase. Really bad customer service and not much of a rewards program either. They should take a page from Jack's Pets. They have a good rewards program and excellent customer service. Looks like that's where I will take my business. read more

I always go here for my dogs food. This time I was there and was waiting for several minutes at the register as a young man employee stocked shelves and looked at me several times. He took his time finishing and coming up to the register. I hand him a $100 bill and he says he needs a manager. I say fine. She comes running up front and he shows her the bill and she yells "It's a fake!" Then a few seconds later says she's joking. Then the man employee tells me he is one penny short on the change. I said it's okay and he hands me my money without telling me how much is there. So as I'm sitting there counting it to make sure it's right he grows impatient and says "you're not going to need help with this right?" I said I guess not. And he walked away. Terrible service. I will be taking my business to Bentley's. read more

I DO NOT recommend this pet store for fish keepers. their fish are diseased and when confronted about the problem I was told its ok for at least 10 tanks to have bloated fish in them. You can see with your own eyes how bad their aquariums look. read more

The Delhi store is always friendly and clean, and I can always walk in to groom my dog's toenails without much wait. but they seem to be having a hard time getting products (I wanted a certain brand and color dog harness). I ended up buying a different one from their Florence KY store and was waiting to exchange it for the color I wanted. I waited 6 weeks They finally got them in, but not many. I got the only medium, and I went up early morning the day they get their stock in. I would think they would have ordered more. On the plus side, they exchanged it for me with no receipt, even though mine was no longer brand new looking. So it all ended well, and their helpfulness makes me want to recommend them to others. read more

It is with pride that I recommend the groomers at Pet Supplies Plus. We relocated to the Delhi area in late May and were very sad to be leaving our wonderful groomer of the past four years. I needn't have feared finding a replacement groomer because Brook has proven to be exceptional with our toy poodle, CaraMia. Having been a poodle parent for the past past 50 years, I am quite particular regarding their grooming. This is the third time I've used the groomers here. The first two times were great, this time, not so much. Dropped my dog off for his 12:00 appt. and was told it should be two hours at the most and I would receive a call when he was done. 4 hours later, I called to see what the hold up was, only to be told that the grooming services were closed and the groomer had left 2 hours ago. So my dog had been left in a cage, in the back, with no food or water, alone for two hours. If I had not called, no one would have even known he was there. He had been groomed, but his nails were not trimmed, which I had asked for. The only, "compensation " was $5 off. Nice. read more

I shop this Delhi Location for my dog supplies. Staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. If they're out of stock of an item I make a request and they order it. On the truck delivery for Thursdays and I get a call to come in. The retail team is the best ever. I've never used their groomers, so no comments there. However, I do groom my own dogs. It's taken a bit of practice and I've installed a hose sprayer in my shower to wash my pups. My dogs are comfortable with me, so just a thought to the pet parents out there. read more

Attention: Do not go to a pet grooming named Brooke in Delhi- I've watched her get very upset with animals that she cuts!! I had my cockapoo cut a couple of months ago - she was very expensive-- when I got home she did not touch his nails.. I was told to bring the dog up as soon as I could. I started taking to other dog owners in line to find that their dogs nails were barely touch. We noticed Brooke beening rough - so I insisted she cut my dogs nails in front of me. She cursed me and the others under her breath -stating that we were crazy!! That we should be rebilled- Brooke is Too expensive! Too mean to animals! Never finishing the groom. Wait for another groomer- they have a new one every couple of months? read more

Representative had horrible attitude Bc of the time I picket up my dog.. I was told on the phone that it was fine to pick him up at that time. I explain that to the manager and she was still with an awful attitude. Have never been talked to like this in a store. Will never come back to this place. I stopped in today to get a ballpark figure on how much I will need to spend when I get a new budgie parakeet in two weeks. Since I never have had a bird before I need the bird and all the sundries--food, cage, toys etc. I was very pleased not only with the birds available (their cage was clean and well kept and they looked healthy and happy) but they had a nice selection of toys and food, and the prices were quite reasonable. The whole store looked nice--well lit, clean, and dirt/dust free. The weak spot though was the cage selection. All of them were very, very small and poorly constructed, or they were very large and very expensive. I did stop at a small family owned place nearby and, while they didn't have anywhere near the selection of food and toys, they had a lot of different cage options including a used one that fit the bill perfectly and was cheaper than the smallest new cage at either store. That's just the difference between a chain and a mom and pop; the mom and pop has the freedom to do special things like take in a used cage and the chain has buying power and bigger selections. You have to pick your poison. The only complaint I have at all is as soon as I hit the store I just about got knocked down by the smell of poop. The only source it could have come from was the big dogs a lady was shopping with. They must have had an accident; however, the staff should have sprayed a liberal amount of air freshener. They never did and I could have died until I got in the back to the birds. It was real bad and they never did anything. read more
