Apparently , you are not aware that it was my dog he was bringing in , not his. It was a new , first time appointment . That he had already sent the veterinary information in. He let you know that he had a work emergency and I would be coming from an hour and a half away to make this appointment. I encountered road construction that caused a delay . I had my grandchildren on a spring break outing that we left to make this appointment . The appointment was at 12 noon. I called at 11:55am to let you all know I was getting close. I was informed by your staff that the groomer was gone. My son was told that I had until 12:15pm. to make this appointment. He didn't think I would get there until 12:30. You. made no adjustments, after him being a loyal customer . Our appointment window was 12-3pm. A place with good customer service would have done some type of service in that window, even if you charged for the full service. A wash , nail trim maybe. The groomers do a fantastic job. However, I had a frustrating experience with their customer service, particularly regarding communication via text. I wasn't aware that the phone lines are closed on Mondays for cancellations or late arrivals, which led to some confusion when I tried to reach out. I even called multiple times trying to desperately communicate I was going to be late. When I eventually got a text response from the staff, I felt that the interaction was more combative than helpful. Despite my attempts to explain my confusion, I felt dismissed, and it made me feel quite stupid for not understanding their policies or how their store works. As someone who has worked in customer service and grooming, I know that misunderstandings can happen, but this experience left me feeling upset. There was no compassion or understanding or offer to help/alternatives (like payment planning, etc). The fee for being 15 minutes late is **** $135 **** which is the price of 4 grooms at Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, or Petco (which shouldn't be discredited because they also have talented groomers.) When my Samoyed was denied from Petsmart a 3 days ago for his stiches not having healed completely, they were understanding and didn't charge me, they just told me to come again in a few days and disregarded my appointment. Choosing Wuf instead of Petsmart was a HUGE mistake, and I just should have rebooked with them. Other places are more forgiving than here if any unexpected events or circumstances happen to you the day of your booking. NOTE: Their late fee doesn't exist. According to their policy, being 15 minutes late means you get hit with a 50% charge of your groom up front. But no, you get hit as a no show ALSO at the 15 minute mark. So the late fee doesn't exist, it's not spelled out for you, and it's worded to be manipulative. I really hope the team can improve their communication process for better customer experiences in the future. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to consider other options for grooming services from now on. :/ Even now as I'm typing this, I feel as though I'm going to get the same combative, blaming reply as I did in our text messages. Like, I'm fully expecting a "this is why you're wrong" reply. Like YES I get it, that's what a misunderstanding is. Telling me the same thing over and over again doesn't change the fact that I was still confused, nothing can change that. Don't gaslight me. Terrible service and super disrespectful. read more

This new pet salon just opened across Findlay Market. The owners are a cute couple that has dedicate pretty much all their life to pets and grooming. They are so experienced and have a super cute location. I took Simba on the opening day for some nail grinding and they gave me ton of advice on how to make them shorter how he's not scratching me all day. I am now taking him on a regular basis to make this happen. After those visits I took him for grooming and a de-shed treatment. I was so happy with the result! Hands down the best groomer in Southwest Ohio! Every one who works there is incredibly kind and take such wonderful care of each pet that comes in. I have a very high strung Miniature Schnauzer who requires a high level of grooming maintenance and Wuf has been able to help him get extremely comfortable getting groomed. I've been going to Wuf since I moved to Cincinnati from NYC in February 2021 and I am so happy I have been able to become a regular there! My dog looks immaculate each time I pick him up and he enjoys going to get groomed. They are also great about pick up times and providing ample notice that they are ready for pick up. My Teddy went there for his first groom and his groom was based on HIS COMFORT LEVEL and of course his cooperation.. from his first puppy groom to his first puppy cut to him learning at his rate, this spa has been nothing less than a blessing. They have educated myself along the way, kept me informed and also have been very gracious and compassionate when needed. I was wanting to try a downtown groomer because I recently moved downtown. I found Wuf Pet Spa. I really didn't do any reading up about the place or check out prices. I just took for granted around everyone else's price. Scheduling was a bit odd only by email. Which is fine just different. I was actually able to get my dog in pretty quick after I filled out paperwork. You need to put down deposit which is not a problem as well. My husband had no issues dropping him off. He was told to be ready for a pick up text in 2 hrs and we would have 20 min to pick him up or you get a fee When I came in to get My dog. The environment was very professional and all the dogs seemed calm including my nervous Nelly. I was also impressed by revel of show dog haircut my dog received. Everything was done completely he looked like someone actually cared and knew how to groom my dog. My dog has a million moles and not one was cut. Usually he looks like someone cut him all over. This showed me someone took time and added love to my dog. When I went to pay I was alittle taken on price however seeing how much care and 1 on 1 time that was given to my dog I was extremely happy. I brought my pup in for his first grooming service. We were so excited as Wuf has been highly recommended by many as "the best" in the city. Upon arrival I showed the groomer that his ears had matting, she let me know mid-service that they would need to be shaved, I was okay with that since I knew about the matting ahead of time. When I arrived to pick up my dog the groomer showed me how to prevent the matting in the future and noticed a cut on his ear. Over the next several hours I noticed that both of his ears were developing bleeding on them. I contacted my vet first thing the next day and they had me bring him in, they had to do a surgical grade shave to ensure there wasn't laceration. There was not a laceration, however the vet said that there was "severe clipper burn" and he would need to be put on an antibiotic and a steroid. I contacted Wuf to try to remedy the situation and I was told by Jessie that she is unable to discuss anything over the phone, only via email. She educated me on matting and coat maintenance via the email and sent me their service waver. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the level of customer service that I received from "the best pet spa" in Cincinnati. If you want a groomer that cares about you and your pet I would avoid Wuf at ALL costs. read more
