Chili and Winston after their "Howloween" beautification at Wags and Whiskers.
Holly A.

I have two furbabies, a Frenchie and a Lab mix who have very different personalities. Winston will become calm in most situations after acclimating while my lab Chili has some serious separation anxiety and does not do well when crated. I don't take them anywhere other than Wags and Whiskers where I am more than confident they will be well cared for and beautifully groomed when I get the call that "my babies are ready." I can usually call same day and get an appointment. Even when they are super busy it seems they always find time to fit my two kiddos into the schedule. My pups are always dry and smell wonderful when I pick them up and are even dressed in seasonal/holiday appropriate scarves. I have had experiences at other groomers who have left them wet and shedding everywhere upon pick-up, this is never the case at Wags and Whiskers. Their prices are very affordable and the service can't be topped. I am always greeted with a smile, even when it is accompanied by loud barking in the background. :)

Samson loved his first experience at Wags back in a September :)

Wags 'N Whiskers did not disappoint! Was looking for a groomer and came across them on Yelp - all of the positive testimonials and photos sold me. They were super friendly, accommodating and Samson loved them! We will definitely be back after our first visit in September - it's reasonably priced (even for our 80lb Golden Retriever, Samson) and I know he'll be taken care of. Thanks, Wags - we'll be back!

I take my precious baby here every few months to get a bath and her nails trimmed. She's a rescue kitty and can be difficult to handle when she gets stressed out. Jen always does a TERRIFIC with her and very reasonably priced. I have a hectic work schedule and am very happy that she takes my kitty on a Saturday morning. Highly recommend. I won't go anywhere else!

I asked to speak to a manager, none on duty. 1 Wüf Pet Spa OTR (Owner) 2 days ago Hi June, you are not a client in our database. I understand your son is upset about missing his appointment but it isn't appropriate to spam our business page with reviews. Apparently , you are not aware that it was my dog he was bringing in , not his. It was a new , first time appointment . That he had already sent the veterinary information in. He let you know that he had a work emergency and I would be coming from an hour and a half away to make this appointment. I encountered road construction that caused a delay . I had my grandchildren on a spring break outing that we left to make this appointment . The appointment was at 12 noon. I called at 11:55am to let you all know I was getting close. I was informed by your staff that the groomer was gone. My son was told that I had until 12:15pm. to make this appointment. He didn't think I would get there until 12:30. You. made no adjustments, after him being a loyal customer . Our appointment window was 12-3pm. A place with good customer service would have done some type of service in that window, even if you charged for the full service. A wash , nail trim maybe. Instead you chose to put him down as a no show , charging the full price. Does that seem right ? I normally don't do reviews. That's why it took me so long to respond. You have lost two good customers, with two sweet dogs just because you don't know what CUSTOMER SERVICE, means.

Thank you Maddie!!!

Furry and Fabulous, now known as Dawn's Blissful Paws Canine Spa, was one of the groomers on the list. Having looked at their reviews, I was happy with what I saw. I even called and asked if they would be equipped to handle an old, grumpy, little old man. They assured me that they have someone who is great with seniors. The first couple of grooms weren't spectacular, but the appointment that we had on July 9th was the absolute worst. I usually get my dog cut with a two guard and keep his face fluffy like a puppy. The attached photo is what I was greeted with on the 9th when I picked him up. He was shaved to the skin (which I did not ask for), had blood on his beard, looked greasy, had irritated spots all over his body and was still stinky. They did make me aware that they hit his quick while clipping his nails, but why didn't they clean him up after? Why was blood all over his beard? He looked and felt so gross that I had to immediately give him a bath when we got home. Not only that, I had to take him to the vet because he's been limping and not putting weight on his front left leg since his appointment. The vet and I both agree that someone was too rough with him during the groom. Stay away from this business if you care about your animals! *first photo is furry and fabulous's work, second is done by his old groomer.

We have been bringing our 4.5 pound maltipoo, Gizmo, here ever since Pam began working here. Pam…read moredid an amazing job with Gizmo, and we followed her each time she moved businesses. Unfortunately, Pam moved to another state, but we continued bringing Gizmo here because we never had a bad experience. This changed drastically in January of this year. We made a same day grooming appointment because the groomer said they could get him in no problem. It always took Pam around 45 minutes to do him, so we assumed this would be the case. When I dropped him off, there were 4/5 younger groomers who were standoffish and unprofessional. There were a couple dogs shivering in a big sink which was in a room with no groomers present, and I could hear numerous dogs yelping and whimpering in the back. Additionally, the space seemed dirty, unorganized, and had a strong unpleasant odor. I made sure they had my number and waited in the car, definitely thrown off, as this was never the vibe with Pam. After an hour and a half, I went in to see if he was ready yet, as it had never taken that long before, and I was met with an attitude from a younger woman who said "We told you already we'll call you." Again, I noticed there a couple dogs alone in a sink, wet and shivering, in a room without a groomer present. After another 45 minutes, I recieved a text saying he was ready. When I went in, a younger teenager, maybe 15/16 years old brought him out and told me he moved because he was scared by another bigger dog, and she accidentally "clipped" his ear. This accidental clip was about a half inch long, and 3/4mm wide. His ear was covered in blood, and the powder they put over it to make it stop bleeding. This "groomer" was extremely unprofessional, seemed very disorganized and unexperienced, and played it off as it was no big deal. Remind you, Pam never had more than 2-3 dogs in the space at any given time, and at this moment there were at least 10. I would have preferred them to tell us they could not get him in rather than overbooking. Of course a small, 4 pound dog would become scared of another, anxious dog, but you would think proper training and experience would prevent a cut this bad from happening. Gizmo's personality remained timid, anxious, and scared for about a week after this appointment. Fast forward to June, Gizmo's ear never healed properly, as the trauma was deep and severe, and after going to vet to see if there was anything we could do, we learned a hematoma grew over the wound. This painful growth happens to dogs who experience a traumatic wound, especially on the flaps of their ear. This would not have happened under Pam's supervision, and sadly, we will no longer support nor recommend this groomer. I feel sorry for those who trust that these groomers will take care of their babies, only to find out they are being treated with negligence by untrained and unprofessional "groomers." Update - I am leaving this on Yelp since the business decided to report my truthful review and it can no longer be viewed on Google Reviews. How ethical.

I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!
