I used their self wash service today for my dog. Each station was spacious and gated which made me feel secure if it were ever busy. It's set up like a coin laundromat where you can post for coins up front which equates to 5$ per coin. That coin will give you 7 minutes at their station to use their washing or drying facilities. The coin slot gives you the option to rinse, shampoo, conditioner, dry, flea and tic treatment, disinfect the wash station or turn it off. You cannot pause the timer. I was able to wash and mostly dry my dog in 14 minutes (she didn't like the dryer but it was powerful). My only tip would be to bring your own towels as they charge 1$ per towel. A great suggestion would be to have coat hangers and baskets in the wash station to put your purse in as you wash your pet. I had to swing my coat over divider and place my purse on the floor. They do offer other grooming services such as nail trim and anal glands at around 10$ at the time of this review. read more

Today our black lab found a "swimming hole" at the dog park. She loved laying in it but was covered in dirt when we went to go home. Thankfully I found Mandy's self serve dog wash. What a wonderful experience! The staff was helpful, showing us how to get this older 75 lb dog into the wash basin and how to proceed. We used 2 tokens. I have never had a problem with Mandy's until yesterday. I had taken my senior dog in several times for mail clipping (she has since passed away) and I have also taken our rescue pit bull/boxer mix in to have her nails grinded. They have usually always been so fantastic. I went in yesterday and everyone was grooming dogs. I didn't have a problem waiting. One of the girls didn't feel well and passed me off to a younger girl. I asked to have my dog's nails grinded. She has black nails and her quick is very long from years of neglect. The girl took my dog into a corner spot where a groomer was grooming a dog AND he had his personal dog, not on a leash. The dog was also a pit bull and he was very friendly, not aggressive at all. But he kept jumping up to smell my dog and see my dog. I was having to shield my dog so she would feel like she was in a safe environment. The girl immediately started to clip my dogs' nails (after I asked twice for a nail grind) and she cut the quick. My dog was bleeding and there was no where for her to get away from the unleashed dog. I specifically asked for a nail grind for this reason. I felt very frustrated from this experience. I have never had a negative experience until this visit. I will definitely try again but if I have the same experience, I will need to find another place. read more

i was pleasantly surprised to find this place, we brought our 100lb german shepherd and washed him here. we used all the recommended soaps and sprays and brushed and blow dried him there and we will 100% be coming back with our other dogs. they clean and sanitize after every customer (which was awesome if you know how much a german shepherd sheds) you get 7 minutes for 5$ in the form of a token for their machine that has everything. water pressure could definitely be higher or put out more water in general but otherwise we loved it! towel rental is $1 extra as well! read more

I love this place! $5 gives you 7 minutes in one of their clean dog wash stations. The water is warm, and the nozzle provides shampoo, conditioner, deodorizer, and they have doggy cologne (applied separately, not available via nozzle). You can also dry your pup with the powerful blow dryer. I have a short haired medium-sized dog that I can get clean and dry in 7 minutes, but you might need more time if you have a larger dog. The staff are friendly and I have only had to wait for a station once. They also provide professional grooming and the groomers are always busy, so call ahead for those services. read more

I went to drop off my dog to get a grooming and no one in there was smiling. All four of the employees looked like they hated their jobs. While I was walking out the door, one of the dogs got loose and ran towards Tylersville Rd. I was the first one out there trying to get the dog to come back, then the groomer that was working on her came out and was cussing and went back in slowly to get her leash, then the other groomers came out and the dog finally came back. That dog was so close to getting hit on the busy road and the female groomer that was working on her acted like she didn't care. I definitely will not be bringing my dog back. We have gone to Mandy's Dog-O-Mat for over 7 years. The last appointment I thought was at 12:30, so my son took took our dog at 12:20. He was told we would have to reschedule, which upset me a bit, but ok. I called to reschedule today, and was told I would need to pay 1/2 now to get the appointment since we were a "NO SHOW" last time. We have never missed or even been late to an appointment. I cannot tell you how many times they would call me and tell me they had cancelations that day, asking if I could bring our little one in early, which we gladly did. read more

I have been to other groomers since we moved to the area 25 years ago. This is the first one that made it easy for those dropping off and picking up, as well as obviously loving dogs. My maltipoo looks gorgeous every time. We had a bichon and lhasa that also went there as very aged pets. Even in fragile condition, our sweet 18 yr old bischon was cared for as we wished for him. The washing bays were easy to use and well stocked. My only reservation was the parking lot. It is not a place for an off the leash romp. We recently moved to the area and needed a new groomer. We stumbled upon Mandy's Dog-O-Mat shortly after an average experience with a groomer nearby. Each visit has exceeded our expectations. The grooming is consistent and the customer service is excellent. Our lab is a bit anxious and while in a kennel waiting for us to pick him up he rubbed his nose raw on the door. The owner personally called us to check on him and offered to pay for any necessary treatment. Thankfully he didn't require treatment and the sore on his nose healed on its own. She made note in his file for future visits to not place him in the kennel. He goes there happily and they now know him by name. We couldn't be more pleased with Mandy's Dog-O-Mat and will continue to use them as our groomer. read more

The first time we took our 'rescued' dog in for shampoo and nail trim everything went well, even though he was initially skittish. The second appointment was very disappointing. Have 2 dogs and been taking them to Mandy's for a few years. Made an appointment, in person, for one of my dogs. Before leaving I confirmed the date. I brought my dog for the grooming on the date and time I booked. They couldn't find it. Finally found it and the person who booked the appointment entered it in the computer a week later than the date I booked. I was upset because I had changed some plans so I could take my dog to get groomed. Instead of an apology the people I dealt with seemed intent on trying to convince me it was my mistake and not theirs. No way to be treated by a continuing and ongoing customer. I asked that the owner call me about it and never got a call. There are too many other good dog groomers out there for me to take my business to someone who doesn't appreciate their customers. I will not go back and am having my dogs groomed by another groomer. read more

Took my 2 dogs there for the second time. First time went well. This last time they were both to get washed and nails cut. One needed a trim (fully detailed at drop off) and the other need Glands expressed. My husband picked them up and the only thing that had been done was the wash.
