We have two rescues, and one is a Border Collie mix who is known at the vet as a "go slow" client, because she is nervous and could nip. I made the groomers at Tara's aware of this and none of them have hesitated. They just work quickly and make the experience easy for the dogs. I had a favorite groomer or two at first but now I love every one of them because they are so loving with the dogs. The last time I took her in, she actually went up to the groomer to greet her, which made me feel so good about taking her there. I hate taking a dog someplace they are fearful of. Chloe, the manager at the Loveland location even bathed and trimmed our "go slow" girl once, and despite my trepidation it went really well. I'm very happy with Tara's!

I called and spoke with an assistant manager and then the manager who offered to even out his coat (the assistant manager admitted the groomer was new). NOPE! I paid extra $10 to have his teeth brushed - check out the picture. I was able to scrape off the plaque with my fingernail! The pictures tell the truth - she even shaved the top of his tail! The final picture is from one week before this botch job! It was at our 3rd Scent Work Trial Where he won four first places, a second and a third! Thank goodness our season is over until spring. I was hit by sticker shock at the price for a shave down, but my baby had terrible matts because she's been traumatized by multiple moves in past 3 months and had stopped grooming. Her skin is in perfect condition despite how tightly matted to the skin her fur was, so I accept the moderately high price for a job well done. Misjka feels so much better now and is back to loving being vigorously pet, which she started to dislike due to the discomfort from the matts. Plum Street Pet Clinic strongly recommended Kayla's, and they are a 5-star reviewed veterinarian that caters mostly to cats so I felt she was in good hands. Our fur babies are so important to us, so we need to be sure they are being well cared for when we entrust them to a care giver. When picking up, I saw a white dog being groomed. I visit at least once a week so my little man can visit all his friends (aka the employees). They always greet us and ensure we have help with our needs. They never point to an aisle instead they take you to the product and advise with their opinions. They are never pushy or preoccupied. If one of the products I routinely purchase is on sale they make sure I'm aware of it. They have lots of fun events on the weekends and collect donations for the babies still looking for their forever homes. At the end of our visit they always provide a special snack for my baby. He's super picky and the staff always makes sure his favorite treats are available. If I was an executive I would visit this store to see how a business should be run. Camp Bow Wow has been a wonderful addition to our weekly routine! I've been bringing Huxley once a…read moreweek for a few months now. If it weren't for CBW he would be crated 8-5pm Monday thru Friday. Now he goes to camp on Wednesday or Thursday and gets to run and play all day, which has made a huge difference in his behavior at home. I love that I can watch Hux play on my phone or computer via the camp's webcams in each room. There's a camp counselor in each room to clean up after the dogs, make sure nothing gets out of hand, and give them a little love. The staff always greets us with a smile and now know Huxley quite well. In addition to weekly camp visits we've boarded Huxley for a night on a few different occasions. Each dog gets their own little room with a cot. I've sent a blanket and his toys to make it more homey for the night. The counselors handle feeding, medicine, etc. They even have grooming services. Huxley is known at his vet's office for hating having his nails trimmed but CBW did a great job with those once too. We love Camp Bow Wow!

We recently moved to the area and we have two adorable dogs who need grooming and boarding. We went through their process of being approved they both passed with flying colors. Next came our first time boarding, we communicated that we wanted our dogs to stay together in the same room. This was ignored and our girls stayed in two different rooms and we sternly communicated to them that this could not happen the next time we boarded. We forgave and moved on since people do make mistakes. We had them groomed a couple times and everything went smoothly until this most recent time. I went to pick up one of our dogs and the receptionist told me a final price for both the daycare and the grooming. Yet, a few a days later I look at my credit card statement and the price charged was over $20 higher than the price I was told. Very confused, we called them asking for an explanation. Their response was that the receptionist must have forgotten to tell me the final cost or I must have misheard her when I was in there or since most of their people know the additional charges that they just don't mention them. Well I am new to the area and I always appreciate transparency and good communication. Their receptionist lacked this and so did the people we talked to on the phone afterwards. Our dogs mean too much to us to work with a company who can't listen to basic instructions or communicate openly and professionally. There are much better options around so my advice is just keep looking instead of going here.

The vet referred me to Angel's Paws. Everyone was extremely caring, they explained the process and, allowed me to schedule Dexter's appointment per my schedule. The technician who came to our house brought Dexter a cheeseburger. Welcomed Dexter's "sister-dog" Hanna to stay in the room so she could also say goodbye. They did not rush through the process at all and stepped away to give privacy for my family after Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge. I was also able to order customized urn for dexter, tattoo quality paw print and nose print . I will use this service again and would recommend Angel's Paws to anyone.

He would have been 15 in April…read more He took a really bad turn and since it was in the middle of the holiday season and our vet was closed, we were terrified that his suffering would be prolonged. We called Angel's Paws at 9 AM and Dr. Kate Smith arrived by 3. By 3:15, Bo suffered no more. Words cannot express how grateful we are for this incredible service.
