They called me at 2:15 saying they were cancelling his appt. My son was in the store with my dog at 2:17 and they turned him away. The groomer who called me was very rude and unprofessional. There has been multiple times in the 5 years that they have been running behind and were late getting to my dogs appt. I will never use this business again.

When we came to pick them up the first thing one of them said to us was a negative comment about one of our boys' anxiety level and the other lady didn't even look up once the whole time we were there. They just didn't seem like they really liked the dogs. Other groomers we've been to have been so sweet with the dogs and seem to really love all the dogs that come in and I just didn't get that vibe here. Also we noticed when we got in the car that they nicked a little nodule on one of their backs and there was blood but they didn't mention it to us when we picked up. The cuts were fine and they smelled great so if you are looking for a groom for a great price this is your place, but I'd rather pay the premium and feel better about our pups being loved up when I drop them off for a groom.

The staff was very welcoming and answered all of our questions prior to arriving. When we got there I felt prepared and not overwhelmed, even though my dogs were SO excited and just trying to run through the doors to play with the other dogs. The gentleman asked some clarifying questions about the dogs and what they enjoy or don't enjoy. I found this to ease my comfort in where I was leaving my dogs. It showed they wanted to give my pups personal attention even though I'm sure there were many other dogs at day care. The final touch, a report card for BOTH dogs at the end of the day. What was better is that they clearly took time with my dogs because the report was spot on to their behaviors and how we see them interact at home. I really loved receiving this so thank you Red Dog! Although we don't live in the Mason area we plan to use the Oakley facilities in the future and hope to have the same experience there! Thanks for rebuilding my trust into what daycare can be!
