The doctor that is there on Fridays and Sundays is really really not good. I think his name is Dr. Edmund Orok-Edem or Dr. E. The first time we brought our kitten, he did not even bother to put her in the computer system and give her a proper check-up. He just looked at her and said she was fine. Then we came back because she was losing hair on her ear and was scratching it and shaking her head a lot. He put medicine in her ear and when we asked if we needed any medicine to take home to put on her, he said no because she was "just a kitten." He only told us to buy neosporin for a cat and put it on her wounds and places where she is experiencing hair loss. NEOSPORIN. Doing research online, I realized Neosporin is not appropriate for cats and can cause more irritation. Following this, we took the cat back to take her first vaccine and have her ear checked... By this point, she had lost hair both on her ear AND leg, and was bleeding through the anus and occasionally having bloody stools along with diarrhea. He barely looked at these parts and when I mentioned the bloody stools, he told us to put Neosporin on her butt. In our 3 visits seeing him, he also never asked us crucial questions such as if she has had odd behavior such as diarrhea and other things. Unfortunately, I never got to mention the diarrhea because at that point I didn't know it was serious (this is the first pet I have ever owned). After talking to a vet online and showing that vet pictures of her stools from a separate platform, we are now looking into taking her to a different vet since this has the potential to be an emergency situation. The vet online made us realize that she might have ear mites or worms. Dr. E from Pet Resources, on the other hand, never gave us a full diagnosis, and never even told us the medications he put in her... He is never thorough with his examinations and provides little to no feedback on the pet and what to do. Not to mention, the wait time to see this doctor has been two hours every time I have gone to see him. This doctor is very cheap but if your pet is having an emergency, he is not worth it to go to. Maybe only for vaccinations. Do not go to him about emergency issues. read more

Terrible terrible terrible. Took my dog to be groomed and he was given to me with an awful haircut and a bad cut on his testicles. The groomer plays extremely loud music in the tiny room where the dogs are kept. NEVER taking my dog there again read more

The staff isn't knowledgeable of what they sell. I've been coming here for years and the staff is always changing always new people working here. Today they had dumb and dumber behind the register. I came in and ask for weans they came back with full size rats. I asked to go down where they had the mice and they told me no when usually they let me pick out the mice I want. Bad customer service. I purchased dewormer from pet resoures. I found out after giving my princess cashmere a 7 yr old yorkie her second dosage it had expired . I was so upset, and sad . When I went back to pet resoures. It got even worst. When I pointed out to the employee that it was expired. His response was we check our merchandise every month. I lost my mind . How when the dewormer expired in may and we are in September. No sorry or compassion at all. He refused to give me my money back because they store policy is no refunds. However due to they inconvenience to me or any customer. I think that rule should have been override. He did give me another package of dewormer. I only used one pack. An now have a incomplete pack as when you deworm your pet you have to use three, three days in a row. They put me thru alot of emotions and inconvenience as my princess cashmere is my child not just a dog . I am looking for the proper people to contact so pet resoures can be investigated. Sad to say that while this store is convenient since it's only two blocks from my office, it's a total pit. It's filthy and the basement level, where birds and fish are available is scary bad. Also, I needed to buy cat food and there are cans on the shelves that went out of code. IN 2013! read more
