I was told it was for safety since they have many dogs to groom while grooming her and would have to step away which I tried to explain if she was to step away and my dog moved away the noose would only damage her trachea or worse yet hang and break her neck. I explained she recently got hot spots and my concerns with those also to give her a little background information. She was the Rudest and dismissive, lacking concern. Because of my concerns she refused my Dog which is a good thing to find out sooner than later. They appear to be overbooked and lack Empathy. Very disappointing considering I spoke with the owner the day before on the phone and she seemed so kind unlike her daughter. Beware, they also keep your dog 4 to 5 hours due to having to multitask while grooming other dogs I was told, while you think your dog is getting all of the attention. The positive is I didn't leave my sweet Dog with the owner's Daughter and her experience be upsetting or harmful, as she seemed to definitely lack compassion.

Communication was polite, but reliability has been an issue. My review was not meant to criticize the reason for the cancellation, but rather the inconvenience it caused. I had already obtained and administered medication to my cat in preparation for the appointment, which requires advance planning and a veterinary prescription. While I appreciate the notice that was provided, the end result was still a canceled appointment after preparations had already been made.
