Called to make an appointment for a wash, trim cleaning & nail cutting, they could squeeze us in the same day.The workers were so nice and friendly, I could tell they would take good care of my pup. Less than hour later he was ready for pickup and looked so happy, the workers did a great job. He smelled so good, nails were short & the trim was great. Cash/check only, with a really fair price of $40 for everything & he also came home with a cute bandanna! After having a not so great experience at the pet smart groomers I was hesitation on taking him to another groomer but, second I called I immediately felt as ease. The workers were sooo nice and I could tell they cared for my dog! We've been looking for a good AND affordable groomer for about 2 years now, and little did I know the best one around is literally up the road from me. We took our little Maltese dude, Rio, in for a haircut and nails trimmed. The finished job was precise and done with care, you can tell. We've been to groomers that charged twice as much and wasn't as thorough as this. Booked them because of the good reviews for my 6 month old puppy who mainly needed a trim in his sanitary areas, ear clean, and nails clipped. We normally take him to another groomer who was booked out and they say he is great and are done within a hour or so. But here it took them almost 8 hours and they just told me how bad he was, needs to be socialized, needs to be in training classes, had to take breaks because of how bad he was. I understand he is a puppy and isn't going to be perfectly behaved in this scenarios yet but he is being socialized, is in training and like I said before his groomer we usually take him to tells us how well behaved he was for them. So I'm not sure if this place was too aggressive for him which made him act out or what. Our dog seemed very stressed once we did pick him up from here. We will definitely be sticking to our usual groomers. He did however smell good from his bath, ears were cleaned, and nails trimmed but they didn't trim his sanitary areas at all which is what he really needed so we will have to pay to get that done now and him groomed again. read more

Really I'd give it 4.5 because the only issue I had was not knowing that it was cash only. They did a great job with my schnauzer and at a much better price than anywhere else around here AND closer to my house to boot! read more

I just don't have enough nice things to say about the staff or how wonderful my puppy looks and smells when I pick him up from a grooming session. They are soooooo kind, accommodating and VERY affordable. I can pop in quick in between grooms and get his nails clipped for $5 and in less than 5 mins. So easy and really works with my busy schedule. Not to mention, they take pride in every animal they groom. I'm sure you can tell by the pix posted! I've had a hard time finding an affordable groomer that does not require I leave my dog all day. I was so happy to know I could request to have my dog groomed ASAP and pick her up right after she was groomed. My dog is a mutt and most places don't know exactly what to do with her except to cut all her hair off. Four on the Floor gave her the best hair cut she has ever had and even put a little feather bow in her hair! Would give zero if I could. Owner Teresa is disgusting and rude. Mocked my emergency situation to another employee when I was on the phone along with belittling me by saying "well you should have done that but there's no going back now" in a very snarky tone. The fact that an owner can treat a customer reaching out for help is down right disgusting and bad business practice. There are many other groomers that will treat you with respect and not tell you you're not important enough that she has "15 dogs in right now" and can't help and doesn't want to help. When I was talking she also cut me off many times and when I said excuse me I was talking she said "I'm done talking to you" and hung up the phone. I would go elsewhere. Teresa needs to go back to business and customer service etiquette. read more

I absolutely love getting my animals groomed here. There's and Jaimie have taken care of my mother's Yorkies and mini poodle. They have groomed my cocker spaniels, Australian Shepherd, Snoodle and my Himalayan cat. They treat all the animals in their care like family. I honestly think this groomer is one of the best. I lived all the way in the Blackwater section of Virginia Beach and tried other groomers. They were okay but not outstanding like Four On The Floor. read more

I am relatively new to the area and very selective about to whom I trust my dogs. After much research and a couple of bad choices, I found Four on the Floor. I am very happy with this groomer. I have a bearded collie who is not easy to groom. I have found that some groomers will claim to know how to groom a beardie, but do not. Theresa clearly knew what she was doing, gave excellent recommendations and did a great job. I look forward to using her as my regular groomer for both of my dogs. The salon is laid back, so don't expect complementary wine and cheese or marble floors, just excellent grooming and an obvious love of dogs (and that cannot be faked). read more

The staff is super professional and I feel so good knowing that they will have a good day and come home exhausted and looing and smelling good!! Took my dog Zappa in for a grooming service yesterday and I was 100% pleased with the outcome. I have a Cockapoo, every time I take him for a grooming service anywhere else, he comes out looking like a poodle. (Which we are not fond of.)
