I completely swore off everything that has to do with bees after I was stung by 2 of them that left me traumatized the summer of '22. I'd noticed some bees circling around- but it was actually our electrician who noticed the nest way up on our siding. I get why 'bees are critical as pollinators' yada, yada, yada-but I have my dear life to think about when I'm outside my yard. At this point they're a nuisance to me and I wanted prevention fast. After meticulously ransacking every pest business and their reviews, Pest Master came out on top to tackle the bees we had as well as other little pests. Hubs and I had a brief 'getting to know you' phone conversation with Jeff (owner?) and explained to him our concerns. We gave Pest Master access to look at areas where pests most commonly enter a home such as cracks and holes and any other areas of our home where pests may find entry. Completely thorough, right? Hubs and I thought so! As for the nest, it was 'removed'- but I noticed 1 or 2 bees STILL buzzing by it and that was still a major concern for me. To add, the 'removal' was very choppy and a lot of that residual nest or fluff was left behind. Hubs called one Saturday and someone was at our home to remove the extra remnants. Be mindful- that while the nest is entirely removed some of the staining(?) still remains on the siding and it's up to the homeowner to power wash it like we will. These folks come in quarterly as part of our plan- but if you have an issue aside from what's covered, they'll stop by. They've been providing convenience when we really need them and dollar value works for us. read more

There is a law that requires notification of surrounding neighbors of an impending pesticide application. Pestmaster does not inform their customers of this. Also, they aerosol the pesticide which they are not supposed to do. They apply pesticides on several of my neighbors lawns more than once each month. My yard is a Certified Wildlife Area. We have honey bees. I smell the pesticide in my front yard, backyard and screen porch. This is unacceptable and it is poisoning me, my family, my pest and the pollinators we rely on for our vegetable garden. read more

Chris is great! Ever since he started coming to the property, we have seen some improvements. He performed two roach cleanouts on our problem units, and they have been getting better. Professional, friendly, courteous service and outstanding, convenient business organization. Top notch.

I contacted PestMaster for assistance with a termite problem. Rather than speaking with a central office representative who would connect me to the local office, I reached PestMaster of Hudson Valley directly. They did an outstanding job. Adam, who assisted me, was very knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. He clearly explained what was happening and how we would resolve the issue. In today's world, it's challenging to find someone you can trust. I can confidently say that you can trust the PestMaster team. read more

We've been working with Pestmaster of the Hudson Valley for the past eight years. Their prices are reasonable, they have excellent customer service, and their technicians are very professional, experienced, and easy to work with. (Among the excellent technicians who have worked with us most often are Michael O., Jeff H., Jarad D., and Brian V.) They've never failed to solve whatever problems have come up. We live in a log home, which is vulnerable to invasion by carpenter ants and carpenter bees, along with the other usual critters, including mice, bats, and red squirrels. Pestmaster primarily uses substances that are non-toxic to wildlife as well as domestic animals. We've never been disappointed with the quality of service and highly recommend them. read more

Brian was great, Super Friendly, on time, answered all of our questions and offered his knowledge freely. Pleasure to do business with Brian and Pestmaster. Never had a problem of any kind. read more

Very happy with Pestmaster. Initially consulted with Paul, one of the owners. He took his time to inspect the house, communicated what he saw and gave an estimate on the spot. The Pestmaster's second visit, one-way gates were installed and within a week, squirrel noises were no longer heard inside the house. They also tacked on mouse abatement and gave us guidance on what we needed to do to keep mice out. The main reason for 5 stars is the care and understanding the company exhibited. They worked on my elderly mother's house. She was unable to answer the door. Pestmaster communicated with us well to ensure someone would be there when needed. They do use an appointment robocaller, and we had to call the office to confirm that someone would be available when Pestmaster made their inside visit. (Three visits total.) But calling the office and speaking with a human was easy. It's hard to get reliable, honest help in Ulster County. Pestmaster was refreshing and big load off our shoulders. read more

Adam does a great job. He is always very positive and professional. He does not have an easy time here as the tenants can be tough to deal with. I would like to point out how communicative Adam is as well. His communication with my staff and I as well as his detailed reporting, are something I can rely on and I appreciate it immensely.
