Best Pest Control removed an enormous paper wasp or hornet nest hanging up in a tree in the backyard. I called them on Thursday and they removed it the next day. They removed the nest and cleaned up the debris. They were professional, guaranteed their work, were easy to schedule and get an estimate by text with good communication. The price was very fair. They were the best we have had regarding pest control in 24 1/2 years. Other services really didn't listen on what we were seeing in regards to bee entries into the house. They tickled the house and a few weeks later we would get some wasps etc. Best came out, listened to what we were seeing asked questions on what we saw each year and took control of the house ecosystem. They invest most of their profits to make sure they have top of the line equipment and treated every nook and cranny of the house. Andrew is the best! This is a family business -- the father has been in the industry for 30+ years and has 4 sons (Andrew has been primarily the one helping me). We had field mice in our attic and garage. He's a straight shooter who didn't try to upsell me like the other big companies I got quotes from. They have fair pricing, great service, quick communication and don't push for a follow up or expensive contract unless it's needed. I've had 3 services, greatly reduced my mouse problem. I got a call the same morning that I sent out my Yelp request. The tech was there the next day and set traps for the mice. The bate makes mice thirsty, so they leave the house in search of water. We never heard another sound. A week later, the Nick was back and refilled the traps, since the mice had eaten almost all the bate. There were a lot of mice! Nick will be back in a week for follow up. Pleasant, prompt, knowledgeable. I can't think of any way Best Pest could improve. read more

My wife and I recently moved to Putnam County and found yellow jackets in our home's utility room downstairs along with some meandering outside. Called Best Pest - they came out the next morning ahead of the scheduled time and took care of the nest. My wife and I went on vacation for a week and returned to find more yellow jackets inside. We called Best Pest, who had given us a 60 day guarantee as part of their service, to have them examine. They returned, again ahead of schedule, inspected the site and determined there was another nest. True to their word they took steps to eradicate and did not charge us for the trip. I found Best Pest here on Yelp Saturday evening as I searched for someone to help rid my house and yard of two Yellow Jacket nests. I called Sunday morning and left a voicemail. I received a return call from Andrew less than five minutes later. After confirming that they were not inside our living area Andrew said he would see us Monday between 10 AM and 1 PM. This morning he called at 10:30 to say he was on his way. He arrived in short order and was shown by my wife where they were entering the house between the siding and the house as well as the nest in the backyard. Andrew walked around the rest of the house and pointed out another point in the house where there was a nest. He treated oth spots on the house and removed the nest in the backyard. I had a yellow jacket nest inside my chicken coop. The first company I called couldn't do it because the chemicals would kill my chickens. I called best Pest Control at 4:50 pm. To my surprise they answered and said they would be out at 7am the next morning. They arrived at exactly 7 the next day, put on a bee suit and was able to remove the nest chemical free.
