This is the second time I have used US Pests, the first time was for a very aggressive wasp nest…read moreand this time for an extraction (gophers who burrowed under our shed) and for an exclusion (some field mice who have been getting into our shed). Last time, the work was also amazing, completed by Darren the owner and this time it was a technician by the name of Victor. Victor was as professional and thorough as they come. I met him when he came to take a look and give an estimate. He showed me all the evidence that provided him with the information he needed to do the job. He told me exactly what was happening, what he was going to do to rid, treat, prevent them from coming back, and cleaning + disinfecting process. Not only did he give me very informational daily updates including pictures which I asked for, but he explained everything very thoroughly. Victor is a hard working young man and very respectful, I thought he had a military background based on the language he used, his tone, and his professionalism. Freddy, the manager whom I worked with scheduling and pricing was very easy to work with and great with his communications. They are very quick to respond and answer all your questions with as much or as little detail as you prefer. Based on my last two experiences with US Pests, I believe I have found a local pest control company for as long as I own this property. I highly recommend them and have nothing but good things to say about this company and the people that work there.

I did a lot of research and spoke to half a dozen companies. Either they couldn't do everything I…read moreneeded, they would only give an estimate upon hearing my zip code (don't you want to know if it's a studio apartment or a 10 bedroom chateau?), and one actually quoted between $100 and $50,000 (wouldn't the buildings department get involved?) and needed a credit card to book the appointment. Frank collaborated with me as a homeowner, worked within my budget, looked at the photos and video evidence, considered my safety needs, and got it done. Frank from Captain Pest Control followed up as well. Very nice, very knowledgeable about pests as well as homes and architecture, and he's very professional. He didn't try to sell some "maintenance" package. When you do it right, there's nothing to maintain. Now if only "Pest Control" included lawyers, insurers, and HOAs I'd be set.

He did not. He told me what I didn't need them to do and told me how to solve the problem which didn't involve them making more money. Also want to say the woman that I talked to was excellent. Not only did she write down my name phonetically so that she wouldn't mispronounce it, she got James to come out the day I called. My building has an exterminator come once a month but whatever he sprayed didn't help. I tried bombs and foggers, all type of traps but they weren't dying. They were multiplying! I called 1A on a Monday and I believe they came out either the Tuesday or Wednesday. He put poison everywhere and promised that I would see roaches everywhere the next day but they would look drunk and then I would never see them again and he didn't lie! The day after the extermination visit there were wobbling or dead roaches everywhere. I cleaned them up and as promised I haven't seen a roach since. This was in November! Frank has followed up several times since and was the sweetest guest in my home. He even swept from behind my refrigerator and stove because I was too scared to. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Prices were super affordable, the customer service is phenomenal and he was in and out my home in about an hour and a half. If you've dealt with roaches before you know how tricky it can be to keep them GONE. These guys are pro's!!
