He put poison everywhere and promised that I would see roaches everywhere the next day but they would look drunk and then I would never see them again and he didn't lie! The day after the extermination visit there were wobbling or dead roaches everywhere. I cleaned them up and as promised I haven't seen a roach since. This was in November! Frank has followed up several times since and was the sweetest guest in my home. He even swept from behind my refrigerator and stove because I was too scared to. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Prices were super affordable, the customer service is phenomenal and he was in and out my home in about an hour and a half. If you've dealt with roaches before you know how tricky it can be to keep them GONE. These guys are pro's!!

Then a blizzard hits and businesses are closed and I was slightly panicking since the moth damage was 1) already extensive, and 2) quite disgusting. But after leaving him a message he got back to me as soon as he was open for business again, which was in about a day or two. (I found that I didn't always get through to him right away, probably because he is a busy one-man operation. But he always returned my phone calls.) On the day of our appointment came when expected, was very professional, thorough and courteous. He explained very clearly what are problem was and what he proposed as a solution, including the kind of pesticide he was using. And he scheduled a follow-up appointment as part of his service. The procedure involved spraying the top and bottom of the rug as well as on the floorboards, in the space between the baseboard molding and the floor, and underneath the radiators. He explained how the moths could easily get into any living space (their eggs could have also been in the rug even before we took it home from the carpet store). Not wanting to go through this again, I asked him about preventative measures, and he was very helpful. Since December, we've had no further infestation. I truly hope I don't have to depend on his services again (I wouldn't want another horrible bug issue like this one), but if there is a problem, I won't hesitate to call him. Highly recommended.

I called Westex and Jack came by this morning. After spending some time looking at where the yellow jackets came in, he told us that there isn't much to be done. Yes, they could remove insulation and wallboard to locate and destroy the nest but the yellow jackets are in the process of dying off and the problem would resolve itself shortly. Then he gave us a few ideas to keep the yellow jackets at bay until nature took care of them. When I called back a forth time, to ask them to come out again, and to speak in more detail about my issue, I was accused of being insulting by the party on the other end of the phone, who identified himself as the company manager. Apparently, it's insulting for a customer to question what they're being told when they simply don't understand why it's taking so long for the treatment to work, near a month, but the company manager can be as arrogant and rude as he likes. And when I asked why the exterminator didn't put on a protective suit and climb up the five feet on a ladder it would have taken to spray the chemical into the opening of the nest, he said it couldn't be done. That was the point at which our conversation took a turn and I was accused of being insulting for questioning their methods. The manager, or so he claimed to be, rudely interrupted me in a condescending tone constantly while I was speaking, but I'm supposedly insulting. At the end of the conversation I was instructed by the illustrious manager to never contact the company again for service. Great management skills (tongue in cheek). I highly recommend that you call ANYONE else but this company for your pest control needs. They are rude and unprofessional to the core. After getting off the phone with that arrogant individual, I called Terminix. That was on a Friday, they arrived and sprayed the nest the following Monday morning. Two days later the nest was dead. I hired Westex to begin with because I believe in supporting local business. But after my experience with them, I'm beginning to rethink my logic with regard to that.
