We were looking for an exterminator who was NYS licensed, reasonably priced and had good reviews from recent customers. Daniel Quainoo of Defendpro Pest Control met all those criteria. We had a hornets' nest embedded into the siding of our house that was not visible. Daniel assured us that he would take care of it with pesticide dust that would wipe out the nest in 24-48 hours. Not only did Daniel treat the nest in question, but did a whole walk around the house and found another hornets' nest which we were not aware of, under a tarp in the ground under our deck, which he also treated. Considering that we and our extended family had just spent considerable time out on our deck for a good week eating our meals out there, it was quite remarkable that we did not have any hornets flying up through the slats of the deck to attack us. I would highly recommend Defendpro and its' owner, Daniel Quainoo, for his thoroughness, very competitive pricing and the fact that he provides a 30 day guarantee on his service, so if another treatment is needed within the 30 day inception of his initial treatment, he"ll be there free of charge. The service performed for termite inspection and bait stations as well as identifying rodent activity and treatment of the usual spiders and crickets in my basement was all much better than the other name brand companies. They inspected my attic, basement, garage, and even a crawl space. Frank collaborated with me as a homeowner, worked within my budget, looked at the photos and video evidence, considered my safety needs, and got it done. Frank from Captain Pest Control followed up as well. Very nice, very knowledgeable about pests as well as homes and architecture, and he's very professional. He didn't try to sell some "maintenance" package. When you do it right, there's nothing to maintain. Now if only "Pest Control" included lawyers, insurers, and HOAs I'd be set.
