Had a great experience with New Day Pest Control. Rami was professional, friendly, and quickly took care of a wasp nest inside the wall of my home. He also pointed out some compromised areas of the house where there could be future issues. Great service all around and I'd definitely recommend them! read more

Ramy was great! He came out to remove wasp nest, he was quick and explained how we can prevent that in the future. His price was reasonable and he polite and efficient. read more

Rami is our go to professional for all things that come up in the house (ants, bees, flies). He has been to our house multiple times in the blink of an eye to handle whatever comes up. He does a great job and explains all elements of the infestation. I live in Ridgewood and having an older house invites plenty of cracks for critters to crawl in. I can't recommend Rami enough for his services and responsiveness. read more

Rami responded very promptly to my request for a quote. Rami's quote was very fair and he was very thorough. Rami addressed our concerns with a high level of knowledge and he treated our space thoroughly. Rami communicated his arrival and he was punctual. The price he quoted was the price he charged. Aside from the spraying, Rami offered advice for ways to avoid future issues. read more

Excellent service to remove nasty hornets nest. Good advice and quick response. Very efficient and thorough. Recommended.

New Day provide 100% effective and guaranteed solutions, quickly and expertly delivered by a professional, experienced engineer (as opposed to a large corporation, low wage "technician" who will often deliver off the shelf packages, ill-suited to your problem, and then up-sell you). New Day are a local, independent business, operated by Rami and his family. They are 100% honorable in what they charge you; use outside of the box thinking; and are environmentally conscientious. They treat your property with the respect it deserves, while ridding you of the pests that disturb your peace of mind. New Day are simply excellent, every time. Highly recommended. read more

This review is for service from early 2020. I called New Day for a mice infestation I had in the attic, we'd hear them at night. Rami came and pointed out all the areas of that he deemed to be problematic and sealed them. But then he took a trip up to the attic and after seeing we had blown-in insulation, he did not bother to crawl inside and investigate. Instead, he chucked a few bait pieces randomly from the entrance to the attic, claiming that the mice would "get to it" and it would solve the problem. Well a few weeks later the pandemic hit, and the mice never got to anything - we still heard them at night. Completely ineffective pest control. We called a different company a few weeks later and their worker actually crawled into the attic, took a look around and found several burrows where the mice where making their home. Strategically put bait in the problematic areas. Finally, all the scratching stopped. A few days later we found a several dead mice from where appeared to be their entry point - the HVAC wires that traveled up the tube to the attic - which of course Rami missed. We sealed it up with wire mesh. Problem solved. Really regret calling Rami and paying $300 for ineffective pest control. Not sure about the other reviews and experiences but this was ours. read more

Rami and his son came early on a Saturday and took care of my termites. My girlfriend claims she cherishes all life, and refuses to exclude termites. Not me, I hope they all die. Rami was straightforward and honest to work with. He did the job for half the price of Orkin. read more

I called New Day in December after a mouse sighting in my mother's home in December 2021. She's seen them sporadically over the 20 years she's lived there, but we've always been able to find the holes and plug them with steel wool to solve the issue. This time, we couldn't figure out where they were coming from so we contacted New Day based on their online reviews. I spoke to Rami that evening and he was very enthusiastic and said he could come out the next day. During his visit, he was very personable and he seemed to care. He placed several bait stations around the home and mentioned an outdoor structural issue that the landlord would need to address. He said it would take about 5 days before the bait could take effect and the mice would "go outside and die." We took all of his recommendations: we spoke to the landlord about the structural issue, got a closed lid garbage can for her kitchen, bought plastic + lidded bins for chips and other snacks, and she even started putting her bread in the refrigerator. Still, the random sightings continued and she also started finding droppings around the kitchen. In mid-January, about 6 weeks after the initial visit, I texted Rami about the possibility of a follow up visit. He was much less interested and said he would "try" to get out towards the end of the week. We haven't heard from him since. I was really surprised because it was a 180 from our first interaction with him. I had no issue paying for another visit, but we didn't get that far because he ghosted us. We finally ended up contacting another exterminator that was more thorough in their inspection and they found activity in our basement, which Rami didn't check during his visit. They even wondered why he left so many bait stations out in the open because mice tend to travel against walls (they also have a very clear follow up policy and were cheaper overall - follow ups included). Rami seems like a nice guy, but he may be more suited to removing hornets nests and other same day service issues that don't require more than 1 visit. read more

I called New Day in a panic, having seen an unfamiliar bug as a new homeowner, and I it would have been pretty easy to take advantage of the situation. However New Day spoke to me on the phone for a long time, reviewed my picture and video, assured me that everything was fine, and told me exactly what to keep an eye out for. I couldn't be more grateful, and while I hope to not require their services in the future they would be my first call. read more

Rami is the best! We called him about some field mice in our home and he came within a couple hours (everyone else gave us a lead time of 3+ days). He assessed the house for openings and filled them, talking us through the whole process. I'm really glad he took the time to seal the house - a lot of other exterminators tend to just lay out traps and leave. Finally, he laid out some poison in areas he thought the mice might be coming from. He also advised us to decrease the amount of mulch the previous owners had put down outside out house and pointed a few structural areas we should look at to prevent possible future pests like squirrels. Felt like an honest guy and didn't try to upsell us on recurring visits, I really appreciated that. read more

Needed help with pest control at my mom's and New Day was able to get rid of the problem. Mr. Rami also gave advise to prevent any future re-occurrences. This company was responsive, detailed and able to accommodate with our situation. Would recommend to any one with similar issues. read more

Rami seems very knowledgeable and showed me several ways to better protect my house from all manner flying and crawling pests.

Great service! We called about a trapped skunk in our backyard (we were expecting a different critter) and Rami came out promptly and showed genuine concern about the animal and relocating it in a timely manner to reduce the suffering. We must have called somewhere around 10 different service providers in the area including Bergen County animal control and they either were unwilling to help; we're asking $380.00 to pick up an ALREADY TRAPPED skunk or were willing to come but towards the end of the day which would've left the skunk in the trap for well over 14 hours +/-. To top it off they all wanted to hijack my trap on top of an absurd cost. Luckily we happened across New Day Pest Control and Rami was super friendly and very prompt. He came out, removed the skunk for a very fair cost and relocated the critter into the woods a good 11 miles away. Rami was even nice enough to go above and beyond and returned my trap to my doorstep after I told him I'm more than willing to pick it up myself from his location. A+ service and I'm happy to recommend New Day Pest Control to anyone in need. read more

TLDR; Call New Day if you have a problem, Rami's the best. Thank you, Rami! My husband and I found New Day Pest Control when we had ants invade our kitchen at the beginning of summer - right as my parents arrived to stay with us and there was lots of cooking to be done. Rami showed up less than an hour after we spoke and was able to not only resolve our ant problem, but he also gave us helpful tips to improve the ant-proofing of our place. Unfortunately, no home is bug proof, and despite having no pets, we found ourselves attacked by a truly miserable pest a few months later...FLEAS. To say that I was freaked out was an understatement. Once again, Rami showed up quickly and helped us identify potential trouble spots, in addition to spraying. A few days later, when I still saw a few fleas, I was again in full-blow-girl-panic and insisted my husband call right away. I am actually a little embarrassed that I made him come back out to the house on a weekend, because he did try to tell us that they might not all be gone immediately, but I am *extremely* grateful. Having pests in your home can make you feel freaked out, afraid, and very distressed - New Day Pest Control's quick and effective service is a big deal and Rami has made us loyal customers for any pest control needs. read more

I just called to see if I could get a quote and spoke to what seems to have been an automated response that sounded like a real person, but wasn't!!!! It took a while for me to figure it out, but the response went on a loop and said THE EXACT SAME THING and didn't respond to my query. "Is this a recording?" Instead, the auto responder said, "Great!" and then went rambling on about a service I did not request. I will not use this service. read more

Woke up on a Sunday morning to find about 30-40 little ants in our kitchen sink. After a quick Google search I thought I would go to Lowe's and buy some ant killer because there was no way any Exterminator worked on a summer Sunday morning. I checked Yelp, found New Day and saw great reviews so I figured I would call and see what they could do. My call was answered by an automated service who asked me 2-3 questions then, I was transferred to Rami. He asked me some questions about the ants (size, color, location) and said he could come by and handle the problem if I was going to be home. 20 minutes later..... Rami was parked outside of my house!!!! Rami started by doing a complete inspection of the entire property and then explained how he was going to address the problem to avoid any safety issues with our dog. Within 30 minutes, he had competed his interior and exterior treatments and advised that the area could be used in about an hour. I was extremely impressed with the explanation and service Rami provided. He is a true professional who takes pride in his work. I recommend New Day 100%. (It would have taken me longer to go to Lowe's to buy some ant killer, apply it and hoped it would work than it took me to call Rami and have it done safely the right way the first time. ) read more

Mice in the basement is not nice. Called Rami after reading all the great reviews on yelp. He figured out the entry point quickly. Apparently there was a hole outside the basement, he filled it up with some foam like substance. He also put some mouse traps. Funny guy. We spent 30 mins talking about unrelated stuff. He texted me back in a few days to check on the situation. Looks like the mice are gone now. Definitely recommended!! read more

We had a bird scratching through our ceiling last night and I was calling multiple pest control companies in a panic with no luck because it was so late. New Day picked up and the gentleman on the phone spent 10 minutes with me talking me through the situation and giving useful advice. We didn't end up having them come out because he explained to me how to deal with the problem on our own. Not only did he know what he was talking about, but he also seemed like he genuinely wanted to help even though his opinion was that we didn't actually need them to come out. I think that says a lot about the integrity and quality of a business. I will definitely be using New Day for any future issues that arise. read more

He did a good job, took away the nest and accepted my credit card as payment. Highly recommend him and will use again if we have any problem. Thanks Rami. read more

Rami is awesome. We moved into a new house a few months ago and quickly realized there were yellow jackets in the yard. Rami was out to our house within an hour, and the bees were gone in no time. As others have mentioned, he also gave me some fantastic advice about rodent-proofing my house. As he said, "I have a flat fee for coming out, but I'll try to give you that much and more worth of advice." And he did! We're new homeowners, and Rami took about 15 extra minutes (AFTER I had already paid him) to walk around the house with me and show me how I can improve things (get a water spout for this gutter to send the water down the driveway--if it goes toward the house like this it will wear away at the foundation; a mouse can fit here--get non-expanding foam and put it right here; you're going to want to trim this tree back so no leaves touch the house, or you'll have ants using it as a bridge; etc.). He probably gave me 10 awesome tips (I only have one left to do, 4 months later!). In all, I'm completely satisfied with New Day and couldn't recommend Rami more highly. I haven't written many yelp reviews lately, but when I realized I didn't write one for Rami, I had to rectify that (that's how great he is.). read more

I came home from a long weekend away to find a pile of sawdust under a wooden bench, worried whatever it was would spread to the house I called a few places. The first one said it was probably carpenter ants or bees and quoted me $250-$500 but New Day was able to come out the next day, charged me $160 to spray the whole house, and said that he'd come back and spray again if we didn't kill the carpenter bee, luckily one spray was enough. I walked with him when he sprayed the property and while he suggested things I could do to help prevent future pests and bugs he didn't try to up-sell or over charge me, and answered honestly about termites instead of trying to push me to pay more. I'll certainly return to him in the future. read more
