So!...I was working alone at the shop and heard noises in the shop. Went to look for that noise and it was Mickey Mouse! It scared the crap out of me! Immediately called several pest control companies, and Pest Commander Pest Control were the ones that could come to the shop almost immediately. Thank you Sunshine for your help and service. Justin came to see our building and gave us some recommendations on what to do in these cases. He advised couple of things before he came to set up some traps at the shop. Took us a week to trap Mickey Mouse, it was the same one that I've seen on previous days. Justin was quick, easy to work with and very professional. I called Jason's wife and she got me a estimate for a ant extermination. His wife was very polite and she was able to help me out with a free estimate. My house usually gets ants coming in and out during the summer so it was really time to call a exterminator. His wife was able to set up an appointment with me for the following week. Jason was at my place 30 minutes earlier than usual but I have to applaud him for being here on time because I've worked with people who would come an hour or two late. He did the inside and outside of my home and in 30 minutes, he was done. Jason gave us the after care instructions and he was in his way. Super quick and effective. I would highly recommend Jason because it's not everyday you meet a exterminator who actually cares about his customers. The price was very fair and reasonable. Really fantastic service! So, we've had a persistent rat problem in our house for, uh, probably over a decade now. And we've previously had exclusion work done before (beginning from 2019 all the way into 2020) in an attempt to get rid of the rats. For a while, it seemed to work, but we heard a trap going off yesterday and a whole lot of squeaking, so apparently not. I messaged Jason this morning hoping to get a quote on how much it'd cost to fix up the previous rodent control folks' exclusion work (since we were out of warranty with them now) and got a pretty fast reply back with an offer of a free inspection later today. And Jason actually ended up coming half an hour earlier than expected! However, after showing him around the house, he revealed that he actually couldn't see a single unsealed opening. (Apparently, our previous rodent control did a pretty good job!) And he suggested that the rats were probably getting in through our roof, from underneath the tiles, which he actually didn't have the ability to thoroughly seal. He recommended that we cut down a tree that was lying flush against our house, which seemed to provide an access point to the roof for the rats. He also helped unseal the vent underneath our heater and discovered the dead squeaker from yesterday (and a friend which seemed to have died much earlier) and laid new traps for us too! And, the most incredible part is that he took absolutely no charge for any of this, since it was a free inspection -- and he wasn't able to provide us a free quote for exclusion since there was nothing to seal. Really great guy. My mom was also shocked that he had run all the way over here, helped us remove some rats, and didn't charge us a penny. In the future, if we ever need some more pest control work done, Pest Commander will be the first on our list. Thank you, Jason, for all your help today! read more

Probably the best Pest control in the West Covina area, for those of us that don't like using the call button on our smartphones, Sunshine is right on top of her computer she responds to emails fast and gets you scheduled right away, great customer service. We are spending our first summer in our house and were being absolutely invaded by ants. Pest Commander was recommended by a local Facebook group so we called them up. I spoke to Jason who answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns from a place of clear experience. He was courteous and quick but thorough and detail oriented with his work. Although he said the treatment would take a few days to take effect and even offered to come back if the problem persisted, we started finding tons of tiny ant cadavers all over our property the next day and are finally free id the creepy crawlies. Contacted Jason via Yelp to take a look at a fly problem we were having about a week ago since I noticed he had 5 star reviews. He suggested it could possibly be a gas leak, and I thought that was a strange analysis until I googled it and saw that the type of flies I described (shiny green blow flies) were indeed attracted to natural gas. Anyways, Jason was happy to come out to inspect what the issue was at no charge. By the time he came, the flies were no longer an issue since we killed them each with a fly swatter a week earlier. Nonetheless, Jason still checked out the home and assessed the information I provided him. We eliminated the gas leak problem after talking it through. We then deduced our fly issue was most likely due to a rodent that had died somewhere in our wall or attic (since I noticed rat poison up there from the prior owner), so through his inspection of our exterior he identified all the areas that vermin were likely to enter our residence. He then recommended what he would do to block those holes (steel wool Medium grade), and I even googled it and this is what experts recommend so he knows his stuff. Again all of this advice he provided at no charge and at no point did he try to sell me on any work or services. I even asked him about repellent and he said it'd only be temporary so probably not to go with that which might not even fix the problem. He said it really was hard to diagnose the problem with the issue happening in real time (i.e. flies flying around) but to contact him back if we did run into the issue again. I could tell he genuinely cares about taking care of his clients. I'll definitely be following up with him again if the issue resurfaces. read more

Our appointment was for 9 o'clock it was 9:30 I called and was told that he was having issues with the truck (or it wasn't with him) so he went to pick it up and is now on the way. She was nonchalant about it. Normally I wouldn't care but, i was rushing for work. It would of been nice if someone notified me that he is running late. Our poor small fur babies were picking up fleas every time they went to do their business in the backyard. I found Pest Commander Pest Control on Yelp. The phone rang once and Sunshine answered (wife of Jason, the owner), with professionalism and energy. Jason came the next morning between 9-10 am as agreed. For a reasonable price he not only sprayed for fleas in our backyard, he even did our front yard and eradicated ants, spiders and removed spiderwebs around the house. He only took an hour and a half.
