All the places that I called we're booking a month out and I was moving in a month and a half. Knowing the severity of the consequences if the problem wasn't resolved, Heidi got me in right away. I strongly recommend this shop. Bill did excellent work and was super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be bringing my rig here again. Update: Once again Bill, Rob, and Heidi are lifesavers. I was leaving town to move across country. My distribution hitch needed to be adjusted as we were leaving town. I called the closest dealer near me (that lion) concerned about distance, and like usual they couldn't help me until maybe tomorrow and threw me their price before anything else. I called Queenstown, Heidi checked with her crew and they were able to squeeze me in ASAP. Bill and Rob stood out in pouring rain and 32 degrees to get me safely on the road. I am so great full. I won't hesitate to make them my first choice service provider when we get back into the area. Thanks y'all!

I had to bring it to them to continuously address issues. I will admit some of what was being addressed was not related to them and it was something that may have occurred or I asked to have put on. But the warranty ticket was/is about 5 pages long. They have been slow to fix things and they do not respond to emails or calls. Recently they had my RV for almost 6 months and did nothing with it except create 2 big gash in my interior doors and sink area and fix only one of 7 items I brought it in for. One of which was they had bent my bumper the last time it was there and was supposed to take care of it but did nothing. They don't care about you after the sale. They have an extremely horrible business practice. The managers do not even call you back. Buyers beware! They are only nice to take your money initially. Everything negative you read about them online is true. Don't trust your money to these con artists. Ask yourself one thing if you read this review. Why is it that they only comment on people who give good reviews but never address the reviews with issues... just saying the customer care is telling! A caring company would try to turn a review to a positive. However you are not seeing that at all....

SALES MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER BOTH REFUSED TO CORRECT THE MISTAKE - COST ME THOUSANDS ON A BRAND NEW $50K CAMPER *** *** UPDATED 7 JUNE 2025, SEE BOTTOM *** My wife and I ordered a brand new Jayco 29QBH through them at a show at Dulles Expo Center. About a month after ordering, we came to Thornburg to take delivery of the camper. The sales process went alright! We left with the camper. A few weeks later, we took the camper out to break it in. I immediately noticed that one of the tires didn't match the other three. Not only did it not match, it was a completely different tread pattern, had a different load rating, was a different ply-level, and had different air requirements than the other three. I immediately called Dan, the sales manager at Thornburg Camping World. He was incredibly rude and informed me that my camper had a flat tire on the lot, and they had replaced it with whatever they had lying around. He also informed me that their policy is that if there is a flat tire, then they are not required to put a matching tire on there, but can instead put ANY new tire that they find to replace it. I thought that this was surely a mistake, so I called Gavin, the General Manager. After calling for seven days straight to try to get a hold of him, he finally answered. He confirmed for me the claim that Camping World is not required to put matching tires on its campers. I was blown away, as Gavin was very annoyed to even be speaking to me about it. I called Jayco. They confirmed for me that you should never, ever run two different tires on the same axle of a camper - especially with different load ratings and PSI. They recommended I replace the tire immediately. I told them about Camping World, and they filed a report. I don't have high hopes that they'll get anything done about it. I filed a formal complaint with Camping World corporate. I will update this review if anything comes from it. Ultimately, Camping World decided not to replace a $300 tire - they decided that $300 is worth more than the safety of my family and I. They have lost a customer for life. They saved $300, but lost all future sales, maintenance, and I've already steered 3 of my friends to local RV dealerships instead of Camping World. DO NOT BUY! Either go to Manassas or find a smaller RV dealership that is willing to place safety and customer service over $300. *** UPDATED 7 JUNE 2025: I filed a complaint with corporate Camping World through their marcusVIP@campingworld.com customer support team, and they sent me a check for $300 to buy a new tire. I also called and canceled all of my extended warranties through this store - over $8k worth. If this is how they treat something they clearly did wrong, I would never, ever want to have to make a warranty claim through them. Overall, good customer service starts from the top, and this store's GM and Sales Manager have sales over customer safety in mind. It's sad when a store's corporate umbrella has to step in and apologize on behalf of one of their stores - I'd be so embarrassed, if I were a franchise owner. End of the day, they lost $8k of service contracts, maintenance and upgrades for the life of my camper, and my business when I come back to upgrade in 10yrs --- all for the cost of replacing one tire. STAY FAR AWAY! Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like pictures, correspondence, or if I can help in any way.

I figured that after three years had passed, it had no where else to go but up, right?!? Wrong. The salesperson was fine, I suppose, but the finance guy was just an a$$, and I should have walked out because of him. Unfortunately for me, however, I didn't pay close enough attention to the numbers and what was actually being put onto the contract as it compared to what I had agreed to. Because of this, I overpaid dearly for the camper and know for a fact that they manipulated the numbers and ultimately overcharged me by $3,800 on the base price from what I had agreed to and what they posted on their website. Every time I look at the contract, I get pissed off all over again. I will never ever go to this location again - for as long as I live - and if you are brave enough to ignore the overall 2-star rating that this Camping World location has received, MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY EVERYTHING and document, document, document. They will look you right in your face and lie right to it.

So when I found the right travel trailer at the price I was willing to negotiate at, I was torn. The reviews for this company aren't great, mostly based on service. I was forward about my concerns with the general manager Mark. While I was still apprehensive, I decided that this was the trailer I wanted. I moved forward. Ron in the service department was extremely helpful during the walk through. I had a few concerns and they addressed them immediately. When I had some trouble about 6weeks later, out of the 30 day warranty, Ron was once again very helpful and prompt. Although I'm new to the RVing community, I have learned through my experience and research that no trailer is the same, every service department I've talked to will take at least 2-3 weeks to get you into service and do your own through inspection before you buy. Almost every used trailer we looked at in our price range ($10,000 or less) had some moisture issue. We bought a great 2015 at a great price and perfect set up for our family with no issues. Coincidentally, we run into the previous owner on our first outing. They had only one problem with the trailer when it was brand new and had since had that fixed. They loved the trailer, but found it to be too small for their family.

A couple days later Ty called us to schedule the walk through/signing. We asked if we could do 3pm or later during the week or anytime over the weekend. Ty said the latest he would agree to was 2:30pm and then said, "most people are so excited to make a big purchase like this that they just take off work. Why can't you take off work?" (Keep in mind this is last minute). We reluctantly agreed to come at 2:30. GUESS WHAT!? We show up to do our walk through at 2:30 and the camper was never sent to Frederick from Joppa. Funniest part is that James (manager) acted like he had no idea we hadn't seen the camper in person yet DESPITE being the one who told us we would be able to see it before signing final documents at our appointment. We still gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to buy the camper site unseen with the agreement that when the campers delivered to our campsite (2 hours away from us) we would be able to do a walk through and get the keys. While waiting on delivery, I get 4 calls from Jeff asking how we are liking the camper which we DON'T even have yet!!! You haven't delivered it! I get a call from James AFTER signing all the final documents saying the payments will actually be $50 more per month than they told us, never asked if it was okay, etc. We were also told the scheduling lady would call to confirm delivery which never happened, we had to reach out multiple times instead. Delivery finally happens and THEY DON'T HAVE KEYS TO THE CAMPER! We can't get it set up or do anything and have to drive 2 hours back home to fight with James and Ty for days on where our keys were. They kept saying they would call us back, never did. When we finally got a hold of James, he said the keys could be picked up from Frederick the following afternoon, they obviously didn't follow through on this either, didn't even call us to say they weren't there, then blamed it on Joppa per usual. Everything was Joppa's fault, not Frederick's if you ask James. Then they said the keys would be in Frederick the following morning. We kept calling to confirm the keys were in the office as promised since the first go around they weren't. They again kept saying they would call us back when they had a new time to pick them up but big surprise.. no one ever called us back. The kicker is that James had the nerve to ask me to give them a positive Google review..... so, here's your much deserved review, James! You've lost multiple customers over this! Do better!!!
