Unfortunately, the next time we went to use the camper, there was some minor damage that wasn't there when we dropped the camper off.

I had to bring it to them to continuously address issues. I will admit some of what was being addressed was not related to them and it was something that may have occurred or I asked to have put on. But the warranty ticket was/is about 5 pages long. They have been slow to fix things and they do not respond to emails or calls. Recently they had my RV for almost 6 months and did nothing with it except create 2 big gash in my interior doors and sink area and fix only one of 7 items I brought it in for. One of which was they had bent my bumper the last time it was there and was supposed to take care of it but did nothing. They don't care about you after the sale. They have an extremely horrible business practice. The managers do not even call you back. Buyers beware! They are only nice to take your money initially. Everything negative you read about them online is true. Don't trust your money to these con artists. Ask yourself one thing if you read this review. Why is it that they only comment on people who give good reviews but never address the reviews with issues... just saying the customer care is telling! A caring company would try to turn a review to a positive. However you are not seeing that at all....

I figured that after three years had passed, it had no where else to go but up, right?!? Wrong. The salesperson was fine, I suppose, but the finance guy was just an a$$, and I should have walked out because of him. Unfortunately for me, however, I didn't pay close enough attention to the numbers and what was actually being put onto the contract as it compared to what I had agreed to. Because of this, I overpaid dearly for the camper and know for a fact that they manipulated the numbers and ultimately overcharged me by $3,800 on the base price from what I had agreed to and what they posted on their website. Every time I look at the contract, I get pissed off all over again. I will never ever go to this location again - for as long as I live - and if you are brave enough to ignore the overall 2-star rating that this Camping World location has received, MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY EVERYTHING and document, document, document. They will look you right in your face and lie right to it.

We were told they could do it in 2 weeks, and they would need to keep it for a week. We dropped it off on June 5th, before we left for vacation. When we got home on June 17, they said it was not done. We said we had to have it for a show by the 21st, and they said it would be ready by then. It was not. There were still two minor things that had not been completed. They said it would be finished by the following Monday or Tuesday, the 24th or 25th. We picked it up on the 21st just for the weekend to use it for the show, and dropped it right back off on the 24th. And on July 1st we went to get it, and they still had not touched it. We picked it up, paid for what they completed before the 21st, and we will never be back. They claimed they were "busy" and couldn't get to it. No communication whatsoever, and no effort to rectify the situation. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will be taking our business and our money elsewhere from now on!

What should have been a straightforward and simple matter has turned into a nightmare of deceptions…read moreby Go Play. I purchased what I believed to be, and what was advertised as a new (not pre owned) camper. Upon receiving the title nearly three months after the purchase date, I was shocked to see that the title stated that the camper was in fact used. This journey began several weeks ago with a drive that started in NY to procure the camper in question that required a missed day of work and an overnight stay in a hotel along the route, as the bureau was set to close upon my arrival. Although I was in constant communication with Chris throughout the drive from New York to Virginia, they opted to close the facility in lieu of completing the purchase in one day. I asked for the contract in order to thoroughly review the terms several days before the agreed upon purchase day. I was emailed a preliminary version of the contract the morning of the drive down and purchase day. I identified several concerns and requested changes/edits via email. Upon arrival, I was handed the unedited contract and the manager called a secondary team member who was unaware that the phone was in speaker mode and I could hear the details of his responses to the managers conversation. The secondary team member stated "I told you, this guy is going to be a problem", which gives the impression that they were knowingly being deceitful. However, the dishonesty began nearly from the start on behalf of the manager Chris. The purchase was made after expressing my needs and the recommendation of the manager Chris. Each question I asked was met with a vague answer. During the walk through the team could not manage to activate any of the listed amenities. Little did I know that this was because this was a used and troubled camper. Customer service and support has been non-existent from the very beginning. I was misled and misguided by the manager Chris and the Go Play organization. Nearly two months after procuring the camper I received a call from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), stating several inconsistencies with what I was originally informed by the manager Chris. These inconsistencies included that I would be held liable for taxes for the warranty, which was contrary to what the manager Chris had stated. What was stated is that I would be liable for the taxes on the camper only. Regarding the defective items in the camper, I am awaiting repairs on items and no service has been provided as of this review, despite certain assurances and scheduled appointments that were not respected. However, the crux of my challenges lie in the fact that I paid for what was listed as a new camper and received a used camper (based on the documentation provided by the organization). The customer service and support has been non-existent. It is as if the deception never ends with the manager Chris and Go Play I strongly suggest that potential future clientele learn from my mistakes and take their business, and finances, anywhere else. There has been no attempt at remediation by the manager Chris nor Go Play. I do not believe it is not worth the hassle, stress, and deception of dealing with this team of people.

We called on the way there to let them know we needed a brake controller installed. They seemed like they would be helpful in assisting us. Upon our arrival the parts guy asked if we already had a 7-way connector, we said we did. He went on to say that he recommend a Bluetooth wireless controller. He grabbed one off the shelf and retail rang it up. We thought the total was very pricey but we were in a hurry and didn't bother to check the receipt. Long story short, when we got home 3 hours later my wife looked at the receipt. They charged us $91 for installation, there was no installation involved, but they made it sound like they had to install it. The part literally plugs into the 7-pin connector. They also charged $20 for shop supplies. Again, no shop supplies were used. The truck was never moved by them, and again, the part simply plugs into the 7-pin connector on the bumper of the tow vehicle. Lastly, and this is most important, they charged us $52 for a 3-year protection plan on the part. To sum things up, none of this was discussed with us and we are out about $163. I called the next day and explained all this to a female service manager, we talked about 10 mins, she told me that those items should have been discussed with us prior to the part going to the part department. She also stated that she would call me back, I never received a call back. All this after we just purchased a camper from Camping World. Besides returning the part for a refund at a closer Camping World I will never step foot in another one again.
