We thought we had made a great choice because there were many positive reviews of this mower, However, when it was delivered, we tested it. We were upset because it was quite difficult to cut the grass when going uphill. The Toro online store said we cannot return the product once we have added fuel (gas and oil) to it. That's when I called The Hitch Man, and Adam said I should bring the mower to his store in Taneytown, MD, and that he would do his best to help. Once I went over to the store, Adam and his team helped me take the heavy mower out of my minivan, they added their own gas, and adjusted the mower so that it could propel easily up hill. He told me he knew how to fix it, but "couldn't tell me over the phone". He said bring it down and we will take a lookout at it. He told me they are in Warrenton, Va. well over an hour from me. I said "no, I'm not bringing it to you, I just need to know why it's happening." He repeated himself saying he couldn't tell me over the phone. I said "why not?" He didn't have an answer. Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders.
