Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. I have an after market bumper to bumper warranty with a $100 deductible. Took vehicle in for an intermittent blower motor July 2019. They said it was resistor and replaced. Charged me $100. Fine. Picked vehicle up after hours and paid. Went 1/4 mile same problem. I was told Problem appeared intermittent which makes it difficult to diagnosis. I get that part. I asked about getting charged another $100. Was told if it was a different issue, YES. Apparenlty it is a different issue because it wasnt fixed the first time. Left vehicle again with note indicating above. Could not duplicate problem. Was told to drive it there when problem occured. AC wasnt blowing at all now or heat for that matter. Nothing. Took back today, Sept. 16. They went out of their way to look at it since the problem was happening at the moment. Was told it was blower motor. They did not have one in stock. I asked about being charged again. $100 please. Had a long discussion with Chuck and his boss. Said they were not going to eat the $100. Neither was I since it should have been fixed the first time. Got in vehicle to leave without having them repair it, AC was blowing great. Called Chucks boss over to witness. Was about to be charged $100 for a blower motor which was not the problem. I told him bringing vehicle in for repair several times is a nuisance, but paying $100 each time for a part that is not broken IS the problem. Said to make an appointment for them to dig into it further. Thats where we stand at the moment. Make your own judgement.

He was quick to get to me and was super nice and helpful. Due to the battery being completely dead and corroded we couldn't get the car into neutral so he helped get it into neutral. Additionally once the car was on the truck he asked if any keys on the key ring I might need which I hadn't even thought about. Overall it was a great experience super quick and very helpful. Way better than other experiences I've had in the past.

I called AAA to tow my truck to a dealer as it has no key. AAA sent A&D. The A&D driver said it…read morewould require dollies or skates, and AAA wouldn't allow them to use those. He also said they would have to tow it from the rear and because it had a hard, folding bed cover (factory installed) his boss would not allow them to tow it. Afraid the cover would blow off and damage the cab (not likely with a folding hard cover). I called AAA back and they are sending another company. They confirmed that their carriers use dollies, skates and whatever is necessary all the time. So, if you want a bunch of excuses as to why they can't tow your vehicle - call A&D. If you don't want to waste your time - call another towing company.

We took our 2001 Blazer ZR2 4x4 to James for a diagnosis of what seemed to be a limp mode issue and…read moreit turned out to be a clogged catalytic converter. While doing further diagnosis on the Blazer James noticed the Rear Shackles on the leaf springs were so rusted it was a safety hazard and they could break at anytime. I asked James to install a complete exhaust system, new shocks, ignition coil, rotate the tires and he gladly accepted every job. He was very nice and scheduling a time to meet with him was also great because unlike other shops he made himself available to suit my schedule which is almost unheard of these days. He was also kind enough to repair a tire on my truck that was going flat. He said bring it out asap and he would fix it and in 15 minutes he had the self tapping screw removed and a rubber tire plug installed. You just don't expect this type of service these days but James is one of the few great people still putting people first. His work is top quality and he works on minor and major repairs as if his family was going to be riding in every vehicle he services. His prices are extremely reasonable and I believe he will match or beat any written quote you receive from other mechanics. I usually don't give reviews for anything but I decided to so hopefully other people who want to be treated fairly will give James a chance. Trust me, you won't regret the old fashioned service from a very knowledgeable guy.
