I had my front brakes replaced about a year ago, the mechanic at my old shop told me to expect about a year before the rear gave up the ghost. When I heard squeaking when I applied the brakes, I knew it was time. My car is a 2012 and has served me well. I spent all summer at the beach and figured some sand had worked its way into the mechanism. Made my appointment, went in and about a half hour later, Dave comes out of the shop. "You don't need brakes. You have some dust in the mechanism, but they're basically new." Dave saved me hundreds. I will recommend his shop to everyone who listens.

Long story short-ish, Chad and crew repaired my car, timing belt and other things necessary. It was great to have a quiet and smooth running car. A few months later on my way to Virginia, my car broke down. It was taken to a mechanic in Virginia who said my timing belt broke. This had nothing to do with the work Bankerts did, it was a defective part that caused it to break. Not only did Bankerts accept responsibility to repair my car because it was still under warranty, Chad and his wife went above and beyond and drove to VA on a holiday weekend to pick up my car. There is a lot more to this story, and because a lot is mechanical I know I could not explain it all correctly. Chad (Bankert's) was honest, kind and thorough.
