My wife & I having gotten numerous vehicles and had car and truck serving there for 20+ years and we remain satisfied and loyal customers. The phycal building has been remodeled and greatly enlarged, however they maintain their commitment to customer safety and satisfaction. I took my Tundra for periodic maintenance and an ail change but had to take it back the following day, a Saturday, for a minor issue which was promptly fixed. We'll be getting vehicles from there for however much longer we are around. I hope that Hanover Toyota keeps doing what it's doing! read more

I purchased my Tacoma from Hanover and paid cash in mid-2024. The buying experience went well and everyone from the salesperson to the finance person did a great job. The sales experience gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, my service experience did not go very well at all. I got two free services when I purchased my truck and on my first visit to the service department, only part of the work was done, but I was told it was all done. Specifically, I requested a tire rotation in addition to an oil change, which was clearly indicated twice on the first page of the work order. When I picked the truck up it was clearly indicated on the receipt papers in two places that the rotation had been done. The mechanic had checked a box on the 24 point inspection page that indicated it had been done. When I got home I decided to check that the work had been done and pulled up photos of my truck taken before my service appointment that clearly showed all of tires. My tires still have the colored 1/4" mounting dots on the sidewall(indicates light and or high spot for position of air valve, look it up) and it was clear that all of my tires were still in their original position. When I called, the service advisor happened to be talking to the tech who had done the work, and the tech said he had rotated them. It was requested that I send my photos in for confirmation so I emailed the photos of before and after. About an hour later(?!) I was offered to have my truck picked up at my house and brought to the dealership for the tire rotation and then returned in addition to a coupon for a free oil change. That all sounds good but if the mechanic was dumb/dishonest enough to lie on the paperwork about what has to be the easiest job in the garage, on a customers first visit, then I wouldn't trust that mechanic to do ANY work on my truck in the future, and I won't because I'll never go back to Hanover Toyota again. My wife would like a RAV 4 but we'll be going down to Koon's Toyota in Westminster and hope that they act less like a Dodge dealership and more like a Toyota dealership. This may all have sounded petty, but it just seems like this country has forgotten the axiom "an honest days work for an honest days pay". read more

The most pleasant experience in buying my first new car!!! I always bought a used car and the last one I had have a high cost of maintenance. I've dealt with them in the past, didn't buy my car there due to much better deal elsewhere. For warranty service they are great. Now for parts department, I've always done my own maintenance, so when I needed a replacement 12v battery for my Avalon Hybrid (not the traction battery). I found the price online through Toyota online parts at the dealer in Lebanon PA. So I called parts department at Hanover and there price was 100 dollars more. This was also 30 dollars more than Toyota list price! Ask them if they could price match, but rep said not that much, but was silent when I mentioned that he was quoting a price above list. So this is why I don't deal with Hanover Toyota. The only reason I was buying a 12v battery from dealer is being a hybrid the battery is in the trunk, so no aftermarket batteries that vent on the side for this type install. read more

From setting up the appointment to the actual service, they are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They knew i had a warranty for something that I didn't think i had, which saved me probably $500. The shop is clean, and the lounge to wait while your car is getting serviced is comfy. Overall, positive experience at this dealership. Buying process was simple, flexible, and not really any pressure to speak of. Didn't feel sleazy. The salesperson did not know too much about the car but that's what research is for. The staff were very friendly and courteous to me throughout the process. Car was in the condition they said it was in and works great. I don't feel like they pulled any fast ones or cut any corners. I have been coming here for 4 years to have both of my Toyota 's serviced even though I did not purchase them here. They offer on line service scheduling, or you can just call them. They will also wash your car for free if you want after the service or they will give you a coupon for a free car wash at a local wash. All of the staff are polite, friendly and professional. Obviously, since this is a dealer their prices are high for simple things like air and cabin air filter replacements. I always opt to do those my self. They provide a comprehensive review of their vehicle inspection which is completed at each service. When I needed brakes I shopped around and found a local shop that did the job $150.00 cheaper than the quote provided to me by this dealer. However, for routine maintenance and staying up to date on your vehicle needs I really like this place. read more

I've been a customer here for a few years (~4) now. Started by leasing my first Toyota from them (I went here as a friend worked here at this time, I had 0 problems, everything was organized and straight forward, my waits were always minimal I would have given them 5 stars at this time), then bought my wifes (friend was still here, had a similar experience) and decided to buy out my lease. Problems started with the sales team saying one thing and the financing team offering another when in the back room signing the contract. Thought no problem, don't have to deal with them again anyways once this is done, I can't stand the level of deceit and the fact the sales person did not listen to anything I requested, everything that was ready for me previously I spent hours waiting on, over 2 different trips, they were also showing me vehicles way out of my price range when I told them right up front exactly what my max/month was, and the fact I didn't want an 80 month lease... yes you heard that right, for a car. Took my vehicle in for State inspection today and when I arrive I am told the price is now $50 - no emission test(Adams County) instead of the $30 it stated on their website when I scheduled my appointment online. Another thing, appointments I have scheduled online, when I show up it is like they have no idea I was even coming EVERY time. I had to show the reservation notice I got as a text message on my phone. The phone which is the same number I have used with Hanover Toyota since I first became a customer. Which comes to the next point, apparently they needed me to sign my lease and were trying to contact me but I didn't have a single message from Hanover Toyota or any calls from any of their numbers I could find in my call history. I was waiting to receive my permanent registration in the mail (they renewed it for me when I bought the vehicle) to get my vehicle inspected. The Service department also asked me, the customer, why they didn't inspect my vehicle for free when I bought it since it was a week from expiration. Everything got sorted and I was told by the financial department my inspection would be covered for today while I was waiting. They ring me out and charge me a "reduced" price for the inspection ($30), and give me free wiper blades for the hassle / wait because mine were torn. Apparently the communication between their teams has become non-existent as this seems to be what has been causing the majority of the problems I have experienced. I have a couple hundred $ maintenance package I bought from them I am now going to be attempting to get my money back on, I would 100% avoid Hanover Toyota and all of their affiliates in Hanover, I love Toyota, and this dealership is supposed to be one of the best in the area according to their ads and all of their "hard-earned" presidents awards displays, but after today I am never returning except to get my titles. I am posting this as I have seen nothing but positive reviews and my past few experiences have been everything but and people need to know this isn't the same place I found a few years ago even know there are still familiar faces. Okay, so in 2015 I bought a 2013 corolla s from Hanover Toyota I traded my 01 accord. An I should have never done it. They were great when I came in looking at buying the car bent over backwards to get my business from Honda. An the ACT they put on worked! After owned the car 1 maybe 2 weeks I HATED IT!!!!!!! I went back to figure something out an my salesman told me there was nothing they could or would do. He was a fraud!! An no longer works there! Go figure 1. Windows done can't hear the radio or the person next to you. 2. The radio well me cell phone sounds better! 3. The Bluetooth in the car in horrible!! If your on it you need to have all the Windows roof closed an everyone in the car silent, just for the person on the other end to hear you. 4. The damn car can't get out of its own way! On the highway it's dangerous, don't think about pulling out in front of anyone!!! 5. Bumper to bumper warranty LIE! The car dies from time to time when you go to pull out an They told me it's not cover an I should have it fixed! Speakers are blowin they say turn down the radio so you don't hear it! Well how the hell to do expect me to hear the radio then?! 6. When I finally found something on there lot to trade for they really made it worse! The car wasn't cleaned waited over a week to see it then blah blah blah excuses! An then they offered me shit for the car I bought from them last summer!!! All around awful experience! This review is for Hanover Toyota's Service Department. My 2010 Tundra needed a new drive shaft assembly identified through a TSB (technical service bulletin) and I had a concern with rear wheel bearing noise. The bearings did need replacing and both items were covered under my 100,000 Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. In addition during the service process I had the rear wheels balanced and rear brakes checked. Brakes were still up to standards, so that didn't cost me anything. I could have chose a closer dealer, but decided Hanover Toyota was worth the extra miles. I was also provided a very nice rental vehicle at no charge while my truck was in their shop. read more

I had a company car to pick up at this dealership. I received an e-mail from the fleet manager on 9/29/2016 that it had been delivered by Toyota to the dealer and they would call me to pick it up. On 10/14/2016, I finally called the dealer to ask if they were ever going to call me. Finance manager Mike Bankert told me that I was not a priority for him and he had paying customers to help, so I would have to pick the car up at their convenience. I know the dealer doesn't make any money off of these cars, but Toyota does, and they should at least try to be a little more helpful by letting me know they have the car. He complained about how they may not even handle fleet cars anymore because of rude and pushy people like me and the fact that they don't make money from it. Good! People like me wouldn't be so rude and pushy if you would call me to get the car off your lot instead of ignoring the car and hoping it goes away. I asked Mike if I hadn't called, would he have ever called me to pick it up, and he said "I don't know, you're not a priority, we only get $250 for delivering these fleet cars." Service dept has gone downhill under Rick Breighner. Gary my sales consultant was great. Have only had my Tundra serviced there since new. Had brake fluid flushed last visit. Two weeks later the paint on front of hood and roof was rough and brown. They inspected and signed off on excellent condition of truck on intake and no damage noted. When I brought it back Rick B said it was 'weathered' but their body shop guy and another independent shop said it was corrosive damage likely due to brake fluid. Rick refused to take ANY responsibility saying it could have happened at another shop#@!%#*#! He admitted they didn't wash it after service 'because we were short handed'! Had to file an insurance claim. Don't bring your car here for service! read more

His customer service is unparalleled, his knowledge is extensive, and his ability to listen to the customer and match them with the right vehicle is impressive and extremely helpful. We purchased a Toyota from another dealership a few months before, but it was totaled in an accident. While at first we set out to simply replace it (same model, etc.), working with Jordan, we found a better fit for our family that I'm much happier with at a price we felt good about. Our buying experience at Hanover was way above and beyond the experience we had at the previous dealership or any other dealer we visited. Jordan took time with us start to finish to learn what we wanted and ultimately teach us all about our new car, such as showing us how to use and set up various features (the car we bought had many more bells and whistles than any car we'd owned before). The service remained excellent through and beyond the buying experience, in all our interactions with various Hanover team members (in finance, the guy who detailed the car, etc.) and in the weeks and months to follow when we had questions. Although we live in Washington, DC, Hanover Toyota is now our go-to dealership. Thanks to Toyota, we can get repairs done at dealerships nearer to us for convenience sake, but if/when we need a new car, we absolutely plan to return to Hanover, and I highly recommend you do the same. read more

I have been taking my cars to hanover Toyota for a long time. Unfortunetly. The service does not seem as reliable as it used to be. The last two times I was there. They tried to rip me off by saying the car needed expensive repairs. The first time this happened they told me that my car needed 3200 hundred dollars worth of repairs. I took it somewhere else and they fixed for $400. This past month had had my state inspection done at hanover Toyota. They told me it needed brake work which would cost around $ 750. I took it to another garage and they said that none of that needed to be done. I don't think I will deal with hanover Toyota any more. read more

Recently, I called this Toyota dealer and had a terrible experience. When asked a lady from the service department how much will cost me to change a stop bulb in my Toyota Sienna she started to give me the prices I never heard off. According to her, a simple bulb change will cost me $365.00. The staff members are unfriendly, incompetent and rude always truing to rip you off. I do not recommend anybody to go there at list you want to be overcharge and waist your money. read more

CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! We just had the most horrible customer service experience with Hanover Toyota and would never again recommend using them. We called at the end of June to schedule warranty work for the undercarriage to our Toyota Sequoia. The recall date ended 7/31/14. They scheduled the warranty work for 9/15/14. When my wife called the employee told her that was the earliest they could schedule that work. She asked about the 7/31/14 deadline and the employee told her as long as the appointment was schedule beforehand that it was ok. They call the first week in September to tell us that the work would not be covered for the warranty. When my wife explained her conversation with their employee and sequence of events. They said that employee no longer works here (for good reason apparently) and basically called her a liar and their was nothing they could do. They would still be willing to look at it but it would not be covered. Why wait until after 7/31/14 to call us? Why not before? Why make the appointment in the first place? Oh yeah, when they called my wife to tell her that the work wouldn't be covered, they told her that there were 2 appointments like this that apparently the same employee scheduled. Their response basically - sorry nothing we can do, take it up with Toyota (manufacturer) if you have a problem. Unfortunately, I had to give them 1 star to get a rating at all. CAUTION! CAUTION!
