The Emerald just wasn't my favorite, but that's the fun of trying something new. I also sampled a few drinks my friends ordered, and there were several that I'd love to come back and order for myself. The atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. The wedge salad topped with crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, avocado, and blue cheese was beautifully presented and crisp. Desserts: We finished with a decadent, smooth crème brûlée topped with fresh berries and a rich, dark chocolate cake accompanied by a sweet berry reduction. Atmosphere & Service: The service throughout the evening was attentive and helpful. The space itself is beautiful, stylish, and has a great upscale atmosphere. Service was also amazing throughout our visit, friendly, attentive, and easily one of the strongest parts of the experience. We started with the rosemary focaccia, and this was easily the highlight of the entire meal. It was delicious and something I would absolutely recommend ordering. Unfortunately, everything after that was a bit of a letdown. The salad had way too much going on for my taste. Between the peas, pistachios, various fruits, and all the other components, there were just too many competing flavors and textures. I appreciate a creative salad, but this one felt overly complicated rather than cohesive. The steak wasn't cooked to my liking, and the portions overall were surprisingly small, especially considering the price point. We also tried the cake for dessert, but it was extremely rich, to the point where a few bites were plenty for me. Overall, 3/5. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the rosemary focaccia, but it says something when the bread was honestly the highlight of the meal. I'd consider coming back for drinks, focaccia, and the ambiance, but based on this visit, I wouldn't rush back specifically for dinner.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded.
