The triumphant return of Perla's Pizza. I had been wanting to check this place out for a long time, and the opportunity finally presented itself. Ambiance was nice. It was cozy in there. There's a nice bar in the back, and there's a TV up top playing old school cartoons on loop. A good place to chill out for a bit. Service was also very nice. Super nice server, and the pies came out pretty quickly. Excellent service. As for the pies we chose, we started off with the most notorious one on the menu, the It's Bananas! (Red sauce base, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni char cups, bananas, finished with parmesan). Now, on their own, I hate bananes. They're gross. The texture is one of the worst things ever. But, put them on a pizza with a crispy crust and fatty, cuppy pepperoni, and somehow, they become palatable. This was delicious. The pop of mild sweetness from the banana really sets this pie off right. I recommend. We also got the Tikka the Hut (Pink sauce base, mozzarella, chicken, garam masala, pickled red onion, garlic butter, finished with lemon ricotta and parsley). This was was out of bounds delicious. Indian pizzas are increasing in proliferation, and I'm so glad they are. The garam masala chicken was so so good. It's a deep, earthly flavor that really needs the bright, acidic pop from those red onions. And ricotta always just ties everything together so nicely. Overall, these were really nice pizzas. I was not rushed to finish my soda, so I took some time to relax and wait for my friends for dinner. The dining area is small, but there is an area for a DJ and possibly a small band to play music. Walking into Perla Pizza it was a lot bigger than I anticipated from watching videos online. When we walked in, we were greeted by all the staff and were told to have a seat and we could order from the QR menus on the table. They had a lot of mood lighting, and the music was a little loud for my liking, but manageable. We scanned the QR menu and we were able to place our order through the website. We ordered the It's Bananas (pepperoni pizza with bananas), a chicken parm slider, an order of garlic knots, and to drink we got the adult capri sun and que sepa drink. The adult Capri Sun was OK had too much of the sour mix in it, which later on we knew we were going to have heartburn lol. The que sepa drink was unique in taste and was a little too smoky for my liking, but a decent drink. Its bananas pizza was pretty good and even though it had bananas, I could only taste the pepperoni flavoring. The garlic knots and chicken Parm slider were the best in my opinion. The garlic knots were huge and fluffy, but I would prefer more garlic butter on them. The chicken Parm slider was delicious. Okay, this place is such a fun and innovative concept. It's a pizza vinyl bar, which honestly is just as cool as it sounds. The interior has fun lighting and a really unique vibe, with enough seating to still feel intimate without feeling cramped. It's located near Downtown Winter Park, making it a great late-night stop after an event or night out. We stopped by late at night after an event somewhere else and decided to try a few things. The garlic knots were an easy 8.5/10--simple but really good. We also tried the Mikey's Hot Double Down, which was my favorite at a 9/10, and the Piggie Smalls, which was an 8/10. The pizzas aren't huge, but they're slightly larger than a personal-sized pizza, so I definitely recommend getting a couple and sharing with friends. That way, you can try different flavors while hanging out and listening to vinyl. My only real complaint is the parking, which is honestly horrible. Perla's Pizza was out spot Wednesday Happy hour. But it wasn't no happy hour it was bingo night. I saw this place on TikTok and I decided to go ahead and try it since I was in the area. On Wednesday they usually have bingo. The bingo cards are five dollar a card and a DJ is actually playing music as well. As you can see in the one picture below that the inside is very small. It's pretty but it's small and parking. They do have valet, but the parking lot is small as well. We were able to get a spot at the bar maybe after waiting about maybe 30 minutes and then we decided to order out food which you can see in the pictures I ordered to garlic Parmesan wings and the two drinks in the picture. I was so sad when the original Perla's rebranded. The Banana Pizza was such a staple in our household. I was SO glad to see it make a comeback! Not only is it a whole NEW vibe but a whole new menu WITH drinks as well. The dirty martini? Filthy, wonderful, exquisite. Banana pizza? The girl I've been dreaming of. My friends and I dined in here on Saturday night, and I have been dying to try Perla's for the last few months. We got there around 8 PM and it wasn't too busy. I thought the concept of ordering from the QR code was very interesting because all of our food ended up arriving before our drinks from the bar and we kept feeling bad bugging the food runners asking about the status of our drinks. I think it would be helpful if they had a station with napkins and silverware and Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper because our table was not equipped with any of that. I ordered the spicy passionfruit margarita and it was delicious. We started off with the garlic knots and they were very oily and flavorful and paired with a marinara sauce. I ordered the Perla's salad with no feta cheese, and my only complaint is that they put way too much dressing on the salad and the salad was drenched. Next time I think I would ask for the dressing on the side. The chicken Parm pizza was very delicious, but just extremely oily! My friends ordered the truffle Cacio E Pepe pasta, and it was served to them very watery and they had to ask for extra Parmesan cheese to thicken up the sauce. They ended up dipping the garlic knots into the sauce and it was very delicious that way. OMG, so good! I'm very excited to have leftovers for lunch today. We went on the earlier side with our toddler in tow (around 5:45p), and it was very family-friendly with lots of kiddos at that time. I'm excited to add Perla's Pizza to the top of my pizza rotation in Orlando! I ordered the Tikka the Hut pizza, a pink base with a masala, lemon ricotta and chicken. It was insane! The flavors were delicious, blended well and it was a great pizza interpretation. My friends ordered the Benny Blanco and Full Send. Each was great showing of what Perla's can do from a simple classic and fully loaded pizza. The meatballs on the Full Send were incredible. I want to order just the meatball appetizer next time I'm back. A single pizza is absolutely enough to share between two people, and if you are going solo on a pie, you'll have slices to take home. Here is what is important with any pizza place: does it pass the left over test? Yes! My extra Tikka the Hut slices were enjoyed both cold and reheated. To drink, I tired the Dill With It. This was a refreshing cocktail if you like gin and I could imagine really enjoying it on a hot summer night. However, I would not recommend pairing it with the pizza I ordered - that was my mistake ordering it before I'd made my final pizza decision. We all took a sip of each cocktail at the table that included the Blood of Our Enemies, the Strawberry Daiquiri and the Hurricane Category 2. The table's consensus was the Blood of Our Enemies was the standout cocktail. It's what we will all be ordering on our next visit. For seating, we grabbed a table on the patio. I was hesitant because it backs up to Fairbanks Ave, and I was not sure if it would be a pleasant experience. But, it was lucky a great experience! Well silly me that I didn't get pictures of the meatballs or garlic knots but I did snag a few of the pizzas we ordered. Our group was looking for a pizza night out and came across Perla's pizza. We didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by their 'choose your own adventure' dining. You order via app, set your own table (cups, plates, etc), and they bring the food out when ready. To be honest it was a refreshing change of pace when we were already overstimulated from work and wanted a more relaxed dining experience where we weren't asked a bunch of times how things were and if we needed anything. Hence the choose your own adventure, they are as involved as you need. We found a table and a server came over to explain the QR code that you use to scan, order and then pay. I ordered the butterfly kiss drink. It was vodka with some pineapple and ginger. I am not a huge fan of ginger so very happy that it was light on the ginger and did not overwhelm the flavor. We shared the pizza with meatballs. I liked the thin crust and it had just the right amount of crispy. I wish there was a bit more meatball on the pizza toppings, but the flavors were good and it was perfect to share. I had the Blood of my Enemies to drink and absolutely loved it. I would 110% order it again and it was the table's favorite. The waitstaff didn't check in after food was delivered, so we had to go inside to get to-go boxes. The vibe here is very cool - the DJ spinning live adds a light party atmosphere without being overwhelming, although I was sitting outside, so it's possible I missed the full impact. As it is not just a pizza parlor, it is a cocktail and HiFi lounge, so the decor seamlessly blends in a vinyl soundbar (which rides the wave in the rise in popularity of HiFi lounges). I got the best of all worlds. The music blends/mixes were exceptional (focusing on the new and old R&B revivals). The mocktail menu (curated is only two drinks but with them having a full bar, you can ask the bartender to work their magic to deliver you a well balanced mocktail) was nice. I went with their butterfly pea option - which was light and refreshing. As for the pizza, I played it safe on my first visit and went with their traditional red sauce, cheese & basil selection (added pepperonis). The pizza was pretty tasty. It is a little greasy (so keep that in mind if that's something that may turn you off). Outside of that, no complaints. I enjoyed it. I'd also like to try a few other options on their menu, as well as visit during the timeframe when they have a live DJ. At the time I went, they were gearing up to set up for the dinner crowd. The DJ was getting ready to set up to prepare for his set later that evening. So, I'd like to get a feel of that one of these days. Since it wasn't super busy at the time I visited, service was very quick and there was ample seating. Speaking of seating, they have indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend! Fun vibe and great service. Didn't get to try the pizza but heard good things so will definitely go back. So so sad writing this. First time we went was incredible! Got a pasta and it was super hard, the sauce was nonexistent it was like watery milk. The cheese also had no flavor some house. The pizza was cold and lacked all flavor and we loved it the first time we got it. Service sucked they took forever on everything and were kind of rude too. Finally made it to Perla. I didn't get the full experience because I went when it first opened but it was perfect just like that. I met a friend and her little one there so it was nice to not have an over crowded or too loud spot to catch up. The servers were all very friendly and accommodating. We started with yummy cocktails and split a pizza. We got the Chikka Parma, which was very good. It had a pink sauce, chicken thighs, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, garlic butter and parsley. I would definitely recommend that one but I also really want to try the Truffle Shuffle next time I go. I will be back! read more

Perla's Pizza has such a fun and welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying pizza with friends and family. The décor, with its old records and retro music, really gave me that 70's-90's throwback feeling. They also have a great music collection that adds to the atmosphere while you enjoy your meal and drinks. (They played jazz and Spanish like music while we were there) From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and showed us to our table. Ordering was easy through a QR code system. I tried the Hawaiian Punch pizza, and it was delicious! The bacon was thick and flavorful, and the pineapple jam was just the right amount--not overpoweringt. Overall I really loved it. I also ordered a Yuzu drink (non-alcoholic), which was refreshing, beautifully presented, and reminded me of flavors from Japan--I couldn't resist taking a few photos of it. My boyfriend went for the Full Send, which came loaded with meat. He enjoyed it a lot. For dessert, we shared the banana chocolate cookie. It was more like a banana chocolate bread--soft and tasty, though I personally would have loved a few more chocolate chips. I definitely recommend Perla's Pizza for all ages. We've been here twice now. First time we had the pizza with the meatballs. Second time the pasta, not a big fan of the pasta, but the pizza was fantastic Customer service is great. Support your local pizza restaurants! They know what they're doing for sure. Everything is self service but the food is still brought out to your table by a staff member. At first I thought it was strange, but it was nice because you can enjoy catching up with friends or lovers without a server feeling like they're interrupting the moment. For the my friends that like to drink this is definitely a cocktail bar with a large selection of liquor and wine. Beer options are limited to a few import basics (Modelo, Stella, Heineken, etc.) All the cocktail options were seasonal to match the fall energy and flavors so we can expect the menu to rotate often. My only cons are parking, the most common deterrent for this area of Winter Park, and the music can definitely get really loud in there. So if you're looking for something chill the atmosphere might be overwhelming for you. You can feel and taste the dough was prepped in house because it pizza shape is unique and the bites are as well.
