Great food! Their menu has undergone many changes in the last few years as they are applying great effort to reinvent themselves. Their menu offerings are pretty varied and really decent. We had the steak tops with peppers skillets and I have to say, they eye better than expected. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked to order, vegetables tasted fresh and the potatoes were crispy which paired really well with the gravy. The portion was very good sized and came out fairly quickly. Great value for $16.99, abcs when paired with the $5.99 beverage and pure offer, this is a steal at today's restaurant prices! We came here for a family breakfast before we hit the road. This seemed as if it would be the most accommodating for a large crowd and man were we wrong. They didn't take reservations so we had to put our name on the list and we probably waited for almost an hour. Luckily it was nice outside so it wasn't terrible and we were able to talk. Once seated they were able to sit us all together which was nice, some how 2 seats were left off but they were able to sit them close. They staff was quick with taking orders and was able to get things flowing. We did wait longer than most, but they only had 1 waitress handling us. Keep in mind there was probably about 20+ of us for ONE waitress. The food was ok, but not exciting. I overheard my sister say her order didn't come the way it was pictured. She ordered a skillet meal which showed hash browns but came out with tater tots, which wouldn't be a big deal......unless you don't eat tater tot's. Their Perkins menu didn't seem to be as extensive as the one in Indianapolis which lets me know they must be more individually owned versus a chain. If your wondering whether or not you should go to perkins or ihop..... go PERKINS there pancakes are so delicious and fluffy they melt in your mouth! My second order was the lemon meringue blueberry pancakes with the meringue on the side the pancakes taste like blueberry tart they were delicious! My first order was the salmon with a baked potatoe. The potatoe was undercooked and the salmon was overcooked and had no seasoning, salt and pepper couldn't fix it. There are not any "Perkins" restaurants in my hometown so dinning here was a new experience. The inside feels familiar...how different can it be from other chain restaurants but Perkins has its own feel and vibe. Our server was friendly and efficient; she didn't disappear at any point while we're were there. Our food resembled the photos and tasted even better. I'm surprised that this is only rated 3 stars. Perkins is always a favorite for breakfast in my family. Their pancakes are some of the best!! Fluffy and filling but not dense. I always have to get the hash browns too. They always them cooked just crispy enough; which is how I like them. You can't beat the pricing here either! 2 breakfast and coffees for $18 including tip. That is a rarity where I live now. Perkins was always a late night staple in high school and I still love it. read more

My mother recently ordered a French Dip meal- roast beef on a roll with Au Jus on the side, served with fries. The meat had plastic all within it, and the fries were broken, hard stubs. When she complained that the meal wasn't satisfactory, the manager was very rude and incompetent, couldn't figure out why my mom was pissed off. Can't believe the service we just had NONE actually . In town bringing my family to Perkins because my fiancé never has been to one . We were escorted to our table and sat down . No one came over to our group of five table and asked us for drink orders or anything . We sat for five minutes while we watched many service and employees peek their head out to look at our table . Perkins is one of my favorite restaurants so I was shocked at the nonexistent service and respect my group recived. We walked in around 11:30 to little to no crowd and waited to be seated for almost 5 minutes without a greeting of any sort. Finally when i presume the manger on duty seated us that was the last interaction when had with any Perkins employee. For the next 5 minutes we could sat and waited peacefully and patiently to be served and it never happened. Instead we could see heads poking their heads out and sad attempts and whispers as we heard the details of our outfits being described. After 5 minutes my group got up and walked out. As a 28 year old black man in America I can honestly say I have never experienced what is was like to feel unwelcomed in a restaurant until that night and its a disgusting feeling. read more

This is by far the worst perkins/dennys type restaurants i've been to. The waitresses hate coming to refill your drink more then 1 time and that refill is at the end of the meal when everyone is about ready to leave. Many times the takeout orders are incomplete or wrong. The fries are cold about half the time. I literally received 11 fries total when I had double fries(fries with the order and fries as the additional appetizer) If I added up all of the food they left out of orders the 6 times ive been there it would add up to about 80.00 easy. Please go elsewhere this place wont care about your business. read more

Me and my two friends went and it took 5 minutes to seat us. When we finally got seated by a man, I would say gentleman but he was rude to us. No reason at all. I have been going to this restaurant for many years now, even before they relocated from when they were on 422. The food is really outstanding. I personally recommend just about anything on the menu, but I personally like the Turkey Dinner with mashed potatoes. Just about anything you order on the menu is good. The staff is good there and seem to go out of their way to make sure the quality is maintained. The salads are good, now that its summer I like to get the chef salad, which is fairly healthy. Its served on a bread bowl, but you can opt out of the breadbowl if you are trying to save calories. I don't know where they get their salad dressings but they are really good too. What more could you ask for, clean, good quality, and good tasting and lots of healthy options. I highly recommend all of the perkins restaurants, and this one is one of the best. read more
