    Great sandwich great service

I lived queens New York and this was like a taste of home. The sandwiches were delicious. I will keep coming back for a taste of home.

Never put Youngstown OH and delicatessen together but it's right off of 80 while traveling between Chicago and NY. Fast friendly service in a clean restaurant. Like that you get to choose between small medium and large portion sizes. Flavorful and well cooked.

Kravitz is the real deal! This delicatessen experience won't make you forget about a Jewish Brooklyn deli, but it doesn't need to. It's right here in the valley! The ambience is special. Tiny tile adorns the floor, refrigerated meat cases that date back to when your grandparents were dating. The place looks like it was last updated, well, never. I got a Reuben. Wife got a turkey club. The pastrami was tender, salty and fatty (fatty in a good way). Layered generously on perfectly grilled rye bread. I wasn't in love with my potato chips being served to me in a bag on the plate like I was in middle school, but a small complaint overall. I'm originally from the east coast, so that obviously makes me unapologetically arrogant. I've had better pastrami in my life. But I've never had better pastrami in Ohio. If you hit up Kravitz Deli, you'll leave happy.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Fast friendly service! The inside is set up like a little delicatessen with some extra sitting in the back for eat in customers. Ordered a turkey club and the hubby had a rueben. Soooo delicious!! While eating we were discussing how we will absolutely be back for more.

Amazing place! Had an extra hour before my business meeting and found this great little Deli in Youngstown. Had a cup of Wedding soup and the best Corned Beef and Swiss sandwich! Service was fantastic, very attentive, kind and friendly. Waitress brought me a small Hungarian dessert pastry called a kipfel. Wonderful! I bought a dozen to take home to Houston. Older place, regular patrons kept coming into the afternoon. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Had my first experience here this week and it won't be my last. All of you people driving to New York City, you should probably get off at this exit if you want to have the bestcorned beef. Sorry, but this is beyond anything I've had anywhere else and that includes NYC. Corned beef with Ohio Swiss and Cleveland Stadium mustard on grilled rye was perfect. Then the waitress brought me a complementary apple pastry and let's just say I definitely ended up sampling some other flavors before I left. Everyone is friendly, it may not be a huge menu, but it's quality food for 85 years.

This is the low end Reuben. Pretty good, hunh? Yeah it is!

Good food, good service, good prices. What more could you want? Youngstown has a deli but Pgh doesn't? What's wrong with this picture?

Great food, in fact the best corn beef sandwiches you can get in the area, only complaint I would have it's a little pricy.

Now, stop imagining, because Krakus Polish Deli & Market in Boardman, Ohio, is that magical land, and it is the holy grail of pierogies, kielbasa, and all things Polish food-related. If you haven't been yet, your taste buds are straight-up missing out. First of all, let's talk pierogies, these little pockets of heaven are to die for. Like, not even exaggerating. I tried the classic cheese and potato ones, and I'm pretty sure I saw a light flash before my eyes. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, these pierogies are so good they should be illegal. But wait--there's more! They do weekly pierogi specials, and trust me, each week is a new flavor adventure you won't want to miss. The cabbage roll; Heavenly. The sausages... Let me tell you, if there's a better kielbasa on the planet, I don't know it. The market is like a treasure chest of authentic Polish foods, we're talking everything my Polish grandfather used to keep stashed around the house, like sauerkraut pickle jars (which I'm 100% sure he got directly from the motherland), obscure teas, crunchy wafers, and probably some mysterious cured meats you didn't even know you needed in your life. And then there's the prices. I don't know how they're doing it, but you could feed an entire village of hungry Babcias (grandmas) on a budget here. Incredible value, folks. But--here's the catch--the hours are... um, "quirky." Like, if you're planning to roll up for a late-night pierogi binge, you might want to double-check their hours because they close early. It's kind of like they really want you to enjoy the pierogies, but on their schedule. So, don't be that guy who rolls in at 7:15 pm and finds the door locked. Trust me, I've been that guy. So, check the hours, make sure you're ready to dive headfirst into some of the best Polish food you'll ever eat, and prepare to have your mind--and stomach--blown. Krakus is like stepping into your Polish grandma's kitchen, if your grandma was a magical food wizard who had a secret stash of pierogies she didn't share with anyone. GO HERE. Seriously. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.
