So glad we ignored the negative reviews and got off the highway to enjoy a delicious breakfast here! If we lived closer...we would be regulars! Delicious homemade country bread and Kaiser rolls...wish we had room for a slice of the homemade pie! ...And the service couldn't have been better! read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in a week ago! I was worried there wouldn't be a menu item for my dietary needs and there was a delicious mushroom And spinach egg white omelette right up my alley! It was so good and so was the coffee! The server we had was friendly and people of Every age were there! This is the first time I was there since the rename and remodel and I will be back. Thanks for a nice meal with an affordable price! read more

Have stopped and ordered breakfast here for years. Always pretty good.. except for their hash browns potatoes. They aren't your everyday hash browns. They are like McDonalds.. a frozen rectangular patty that they deep fry. They have been serving them like this for years. They need to change this. Make it like everyone else's hash browns potatoes. Place is clean and the service is top notch . The ladies really hustle. Noticed a big change in personal with the new owner. Miss some of the previous staff. Don't believe the prices on the Yelp menu posted above. The All Day on the menu hasn't been $6.99 in years! read more

I've been to this restaurant twice in the past three months and I don't get how they make it?! The service is sooo poor! The waitresses seem so miserable. You hate to ask for anything! The company shirts even say ... "be nice, I handle your food". And watch your bank account. They told me one amount and when I seen it on my online banking, it was $4 more! They're the worst! I was telling a friend about it and she said her and her husband went once and would never go back for the same reasons! read more

Great service! Wonderful menu and really good diner fare. Great place to meet up with friends for breakfast!

It's always a good sign when the parking lot is half full before the restaurant actually opens. We were not disappointed. The place is clean and nicely furnished and decorated; as someone else said, like Grandma's house. Service was prompt and friendly. I chose the biscuits and sausage gravy, which was one of the I've ever had, and I've been all over. The biscuits were fresh made, and the gravy delicious. The home fries were tasty too. His sausage and bacon omelet had lots of meat, and the country toast was also homemade. The orange juice and coffee we're good too. read more

Breakfast was great, on the table 10 mins after we sat down !!! very friendly service !!

We were on our way to Pittsburgh for the day and planned a breakfast stop here. What a great little place the food was really good. The Four Seasons it's not but it gives you that " Grandma's Kitchen" type feel so for me this is one of those "will return" places. read more

Love the Korner. We go for breakfast almost every week. The owner and staff are wonderful and the food is always great!

Yes its on the "Korner" LOL. Great little diner to get a good breakfast. Glad we found it and stopped here, would definitely come here again if I'm in this area. You can tell you found the local spot when every one looks at you like, your not from around here are you? LOL. But thats okay, thats when you know you found the good 'local' spot to eat at, they were friendly and pointed the way to the bathroom! read more

Food was just mediocre but service was good. For 2 orders of blueberry pancakes and 2 orders of eggs with one order of bacon and drinks was about 40.00 without the tip. Not exactly cheap for what we got. We will just do cracker barrel next time. read more

Very cute stop! Local diner with cozy, grandmas cooking. We ordered the grandpas and Super Two. Food came out very quickly. Both were very good. Kyla was our server and she was awesome! Got everything spot on (including well done bacon) and was very friendly. They make their own bread which was awesome, I recommend the country toast which is buttered and grilled. read more

Great place to visit while in OH. I called in a pick up order at noon since I was the only one that did not eat breakfast from my crew. After looking over the menu and changing my mind several times, I settled on the Country Scrambler Breakfast Bowl. The waitress said 20 minutes...good sign my food would be hot and fresh. When I drove up, I was greeted by two male customers. "Welcome." And "come on in and have a seat." Wow. The waitress soon followed and retrieved my order. Second good sign. I paid and thanked everyone for their hospitality and drove back to my room. The bowl was assembled nicely...hash browns, bacon, eggs and topped with gravy. The two thick slices of country toast was nicely browned and not over buttered. The gravy blended all the flavors together for a pleasing taste. The green and red peppers were cooked tender and complimented the bowl flavors beautifully. My first visit to OH has been great. This place was an added bonus. Smiling staff, friendly locals, good food...what more can a girl ask for on vacation? read more

Local favorite. If you're looking for a cheap, decent, diner breakfast, Korner restaurant has everything you want. It's an old greasy spoon. The staff is nice. It gets super packed so be willing to wait for a bit. We only waited for a few minutes. I ordered the Swedish breakfast which was scrambled eggs, red skin breakfast potatoes, peppers, onions, cheese, ham, and came with a choice of toast. I chose rye toast, which came under buttered and dry. It was a huge portion for breakfast and tasted good and as expected. No crazy flavors here just your basic home town. They did have a cajun shrimp omelet on special which we ordered and was also good, and came with a huge plate of fresh fruit. Other orders included the grandpa breakfast of an Italian sausage patty, eggs, and peppers and onions which was satisfying. Lastly, was a mushroom and cheese omelet with hashbrowns. The hashbrowns came in patties like McDonalds which was disappointing. Everything comes with a choice of toast. The coffee was really good, I had two cups. Our waitress was super friendly even though they were slammed. Good experience, some of the flavors were just a little bland. read more

Great food at affordable prices! The service is phenomenal and the speed at which the food comes out is stunning!

Found this little gem while in Ohio. It's just like a home town cafe with lots of choices. Spikes Delight is an awesome sandwich with salami pepperoni ham lettuce tomato onion and oil and vinegar with cheese. BLT and 1/4 pound burger with fries were also good. Italian and mushroom soup was a hit at the table. Chris the waitress was courteous fast and our drinks were never empty. Price was right on point also. If you get the chance to come here I'd highly recommend this place. We will return on our next trip to Ohio. read more

We stopped in after visiting the KraftMaid outlet and had a great breakfast. I had tons of leftover food and money left in my wallet. Service was friendly and fast. My wife and I stopped before we hit the road to return home. Wow, what a find. The place was packed, parking was a challenge, no spaces available, so we just parked next to the building. Of course the place was packed, we opted to sit at the counter. As I looked over at the front door I was stunned to not see a soul waiting -- everyone was seated quickly. The food? Top-notch. I had the Grandpa and coffee and my wife had the Italian omelet and hot tea -- you cannot go wrong with DiRusso's sausage (in both dishes) and the home fries with peppers and onions were perfect- potatoes with a nice crunch, even with the vegetables. The service was awesome!! My coffee was topped off regularly and the food was served hot and fast. It was delivered with an offer of ketchup and/or hot sauce -- I just said "yes, please". The topper? The bill was only $20! I left a 50% tip and still felt we got more than our money's worth. NOTE: as we sat at the counter we watched the wait staff "in action". They were clean and customer focused. An example - a waitress was getting chocolate milk, poured it and realized it wasn't chocolatey enough, she carefully poured the milk back into the container and shook it and repoured it. C'mon, she was slammed with tables to wait but remained focused on quality. We're headed back to the area for a family reunion next week, I think the Korner will be our stop before heading home. read more

We went in around 11 am for a late breakfast on our way back home to Maryland from Michigan. Googled this place and we were not disappointed. We were a family of 4 and hence I got to enjoy all the dishes we ordered. 1. Fresh Fish Sandwich - Crisp sandwich with tangy sauce. 2. Pasta Marinara - Awesome 3. Uncle Gus's Breakfast bowl - The best! Great server too. Go hungry! read more

Love trying new breakfast joints. Took a drive here based on reviews. Busy place. Hostess takes payments and greets those arriving. Tight squeeze at the door but she kept track of folks by jotting down names. It was a little long of a wait for the empty tables but they are all hustling so chalk up to being busy. Above average diner coffee with a little bitterness that makes me think of office coffee or the need to clean the pots or equipment. I like strong coffee. It is good. Breakfast came fast after ordering and it was probably the hottest arriving breakfast I have ever had. Like I was sitting next to the griddle. Crepe style bacon and cheese omelette so thin layers, not fluffy or light. Nice crispy bacon and the right amount to complement the eggs vs overpower the taste and mouth feel. American cheese was not well melted but that may be due to the type they use. Deep fried hash brown was too greasy. I hear them selling red skins, so consider those for more real food. Rye toast ordered was barely toasted, so ask for nicely browned if that is important to you. Cool dive vibe. Probably wouldn't tell friends to drive here, but if you're in the area, it is a good option. Lots of local regulars. read more

Stopped for breakfast, small place with seat yourself seating. As soon as we found a table we were greeted with menus and asked for drinks. Normal diner menu, nothing special listed. Both of us ordered Ham and Cheese omelets with home fries. Food came out quickly and hot. Home fries were made with red skin potatoes and were very good. Omelet was filled with ham. Great breakfast food, fast and friendly service. Will be back read more
