First time I've visited a Dave's and it was fantastic. Usually when I first visit a business, I go for one of the more popular items. This time I switched it up and had their seasonal sub which was a "Bleu Redux." On it was :Turkey, Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, giardiniera, cherry pepper relish, mayo, and Dave's Psychedelic Sauce, served hot with a side of bleu cheese dressing I loved it and thought it was great at its price point. I need to get back to this location soon and order their "Original." Staff was nice, quick, busy, and the restaurant seemed pretty darn clean for the peak of lunch hour. It looks like they do a lot of online orders. Visit! read more

1st time haven't tried this place in Boardman. I had the original dave's cosmic sub along with the order of fries. Definitely a good sandwich with their special sauce, which is kind of like a vinaigrette. One order of fries is almost plenty for three people. Well made not overcooked.. with all the options in Boardman for sandwiches. This is definitely a place you can come to over and over. read more

WOW on a road trip and wanted good fast food - Cosmic Dave's was the perfect stop!! We got a large original and it was basically 2 full sandwiches!! Their fries are amazingggg too and the psychedelic sauce (a creamy Italian sauce) was a great touch. Anytime I pass through Ohio next I'll definitely be stopping here. The Crazy Dave Sub is by far the best sub I've ever had in my life, and I'm an old guy who's tried them all! The bread is amazing, the meats are delicious, but I think the best part may be the fresh mozzarella combined with the hot peppers and unique Dave's Cosmic Sauce! I have to say, this is definitely one of the best sub places I've ever been to! I got the number 1, which is something like the Dave's original or something (I forget the full name of the sandwich). It's basically just an Italian sub with many more ingredients, but those extra ingredients make all the difference. But all in all, I would highly recommend this place!!! read more

Not impressed... The service was fast and the people behind the counter were friendly and that is why I at least gave this place 2 stars. As far as the food goes I will likely never return here again. I ordered an Dave's Sloppy Italian sub that has Dave's cosmic sauce on it. There was so much sauce on the sub that it was the only thing you could taste and it wasn't even any good. There was a very thin layer of meat and veggies that you wouldn't even know it was in there when eating it and an absurd amount of shredded cheeses. Their was a good selection of chips to choose from and only 6 fountain drinks and no iced tea. If I want to waste $10 and be disappointed I'll stick with Subway. read more

So this place is good. Better than most sub places. The subs are not that big but they pack a punch. HOWEVER, you people NEEEED to hit up those brownies. I'm pretty sure Jesus himself makes these brownies. Place is quick and clean, and the staff is nice as well. I don't go here often, but I would prefer this place over many sub places. read more

Not the worst, not the best. My husband and I ate here recently, I got a sub and my husband got a Reuben. Not totally impressed by either, to be honest. My sub was just ok, meat was good & good bread, but way too much cosmic sauce and soooo sloppy. My husbands reuben was another story. It was gross. I could think of 10 other local places to get a Reuben that are so much better. The prices also are pretty steep. We also wanted to order fries, it was about 5 in the afternoon and they were cleaning the friers so we couldn't get any fries. Kinda an inconvenient time of day to be cleaning the friers. Sub I got was a classic Dave. Or a number one on the menu. A typical Italian sub. Nothing special, but looking at the large menu I could see lots of reasons to come back and try different things.
