We came at 6:30 pm they were busy 2 couples waiting in front of us, we were seated in 10 minutes. Server came right away to get our drink order , they have a $5 margarita in like 6 flavors, it's that price all the time ! I got passion fruit ,it was good and my husband got a Corona. I ordered bayou shrimp and pasta it came with soup or salad I got loaded potato soup, very cheesy and good chunks of potatoes and real bacon on top very good ,it came it first with warm bread and soft whipped butter , so good ! My husband got fish and chips. , 3 big pieces of cod lightly breaded it was very good and came with lots of well seasoned fries. I always taste his food for him lol. My shrimp pasta was Cajun seasoned with lots of shrimp, onions, green and red peppers and so good and so much I couldn't eat it all . We took a whole other meal home . Ordered the Turkey Club sandwich and it was terrible! About as far from how a classic club sandwich is made as it could be. It was nothing but turkey, ham and cheddar cold cuts (and I mean COLD) on a mushy untoasted hoagie roll. Further the roll looked like someone had been sitting ion it before it was served! I should have sent it back!. My partner had a salmon and kale salad and the salmon was so overcooked she couldn't eat it, and the dressing had a "strange" aftertaste. We ended up leaving both are meals barely eaten. Won't be visiting this or any other O'Charleys any time soon after this experience! read more

ONE Meal was 25 dollars before tax or tips. Despite the shanking you in the back level prices they refuse to seat you at more than one table if the person you're bringing likes to sit alone. The company would rather throw you out and never see you again than accept money from you and just seat you at two separate table. And before you assume it was an employee who didn't understand how to be empathetic is was actually the old white manager lady who never felt joy in her life I will never return here. read more

I'm glad I popped in for dinner! Short wait times, and my server was fantastic! She was attentive, bubbly, and was enthusiastic to serve us. Our meal was good, no complaints. The wood fire grilled salmon and bacon smashed potatoes were good, as always. My mom's burger was a really tasty, and she also ordered a strawberry daiquiri that was well done. The only reason this location loses a star from me... cleanliness. The booth I was sat down at was super gross. The seat looked as though someone spilled pop and no one decided to clean it up. Oh no here we go I made and order through the Grubhub. It was a disaster. Ordered 2 steak and chicken tenders. The order was fast delivery but here is where it goes a rye only 1 dinner delivered so me and my wife had to split a dinner. Of course it was the medium well that was delivered. Well the steak was over cooked and the tenders were under cooked the tomatoes in the salad were a little past their prime. I'm going to think twice before I order O"charley again. Ambiance is very cute and casual. When we walked in we were quickly attended to after being at our table for a few minutes our waiter got our drink order and 5 minutes later viola yet no 'Charles 'original' famous rolls' so after asking they were brought and they sure looked and taste like the 'infamous' texas roadhouse rolls which are by far way better! Charles rolls were tasty yet hard in some places yet they advertise " too soft yup slice" that wasn't the case today! Our entrees were provided to us with no silverware and my original set had dried food on it. The price you pay for the entrees and quality food offered is a steal. read more

Been coming here at least 1-2 times a month for the past two years and honestly I would have said this used to be my favorite place to eat, not so much recently. That past couple times I've gone here it's just been seriously lacking compared to all of the other options around. The servers are iffy, sometimes you get a really great server and sometimes you have a server who doesn't check on you after taking your order. I've noticed the portions have gotten significantly smaller since we started coming out 2 years ago but the prices keep going up. The quality has also taken a turn for the worst as well, I may give it one more shot but honestly it's not worth stopping here. Applebees has more options that are way more affordable. read more

To start off, their potato soup, which used to be VERY good, now has reject french fries placed in it. How lazy is that? Our steak, ordered medium, came out closer to medium rare than medium. The appetizer we got, pretzel sticks, was microwaved before it came out, at least it seemed like it because they were squishy. Our waitress was not very attentive, we sat with an empty drink for a combined 12 minutes. Usually, food and service is not too bad here but tonight it was. We won't be returning any time soon. Only reason this is a 2 star is because the food was good. The wife and I came in on a Thursday night and had our order placat 8:40(keep in mind not busy at all), we ordered the chicken tenders and the catfish. We got our salads in a timely manner then it went down hill from there....... as we sit and watch table come sit down after us and get their salads and then their main courses. I asked the waitress how long it's going to be and she said shortly sorry it got busy(keep in mind a few couples came in after us, was not busy at all). Finally at 9:40 our food came.... very disappointed will not come back. I was in contact with the store manager and she apologized for the service when I was there. My wife and I did go back about a month later and had a great evening with excellent service and the food was great this time, we will be back! read more

I got tired of trying to find a cool little mom and pop in Niles (via Yelp) so I said let's just go to Red Lobster. The parking lot was pretty full so instead I swung into this parking lot which is right by RL. They weren't as busy. There is a reason for that. The service was actually pretty friendly, but our server made some mistakes. I hate having to ask for silverware. She got my order wrong. I was clear I wanted the grilled catfish vs. fried, and to substitute the hush puppies for green beans. She brought me fried catfish with hush puppies and green beans but no slaw. I didn't feel like sending it back, but did ask for the slaw, which she brought. The catfish was actually pretty good as it had light breading. The beans were good, but the slaw was just okay. It wasn't sweet at all. My granddaughter's grilled chicken was kind of dry and the broccoli looked a little over cooked. My daughter did like her steak, that came with fries and a grilled corn dish that she really liked. The rolls are good too. The manager actually stopped by the table, which is always appreciated, but I didn't complain because it wasn't a huge deal. I have no reason to return though. For those that don't already know, O'Charley's is basically a glorified Applebee's. Like other Covelli enterprises, it's a massive chain that is sweeping across the country. The food is quite solid. The menu is large (nearly cumbersome in my estimation). Happy Hour drink and appetizer specials are a good deal and this location has a nice outdoor patio. And let's not forget the rolls, they are killer. read more

If I could give zero stars I would !! The hostess was very rude and nasty - sat us right beside the kitchen and we walked by at least 7 empty tables that were NOT right next to the loud kitchen. When we asked for a different table we were told we could not be served at those tables but only by the small one next to the kitchen. But some how amazing how others who came in after us were able to be served in those seats !! If I wanted to eat in a noisy kitchen I would have stayed home!! The doors to the kitchen were slamming all night long. I don't think the food was all that great either! Horrible experience!! Plenty of competition in this area !! One of the better chain restaurants around us. They have a nice selection of steaks and seafood. Aside from entrees the have really good soups (my favorite is the chicken harvest) and oddly enough, the best salsa I've ever had! And the best part is you get a free refill on the salsa when you order the chips and salsa app. Also great bar and they serve brunch on Sundays. read more

I was so excited to visit the O'Charleys in a Niles. We had come here at the peak of the pandemic and the food was AMAZING. That being said I really expected to have a fabulous meal full of flavor. Oh man was I wrong. First the waitress literally didn't listen to a single thing we said. She brought us what we asked for but not in the way we asked for it, we never got the rolls, and our appetizer came out cold after our meals (which were cold too). Both me and the person I was eating with ordered French dip which says is extremely flavorful with Cajun butter and seasoned fries. There's was no butter at all let alone Cajun butter and the unseasoned fries came out limp, cold, and greasy. The "au ju" for dipping tasted like store bought broth from a box and just.... sucked, for lack of anything better to say. Neither my friend or even finished half of our sandwiches and the waitress never even asked why or if our meals were good. Ugh ... The first time I came here was with my boyfriend and we had chosen this over Applebees and were glad we did. When we first walked in, it was VERY busy. We put in our names and were actually called in a few minutes( thank goodness for parties of 2) after we sat down our waitress was wonderful! It gives you more choices, and better ideas for the next time you decide to go. We chose a couple of the burgers. I had the better bacon cheeseburger and I'm not quite sure what he had. Though we asked for the burgers to be a little pink in the middle, they weren't when we got them. But after we bit into them, we didn't care. They were tender and juicy, like we hoped they would be. He also got a side of potato soup which we both fell in love with. The rolls as well, were just as good. When I had the brilliant, but often thought, idea of dipping my roll into the soup it was just a match made in heaven. I had a sour julep drink to go with my burger and it was pretty good, very strong though. I also had a side of their coleslaw which wasn't too bad, but there were quite large pieces of cabbage. Not impressed. The decor is really modern, but I noticed it's an elderly restaurant. The one in Boardman was much better, this one reminded me of Perkins with steaks. We live in CLE and although we have only been to this location 1 other time, this has been good each time. The rolls are hot and silky, the tenders are yummy, the Nashville hot chix sandwich was just wonderful. Mom loves the pecan chicken salad and if she likes it, I love it! Haters will always be looking for something bad to report but don't worry about those folks...please enjoy your meal here. It's clean and the staff is quite friendly. Consistency matters!! I want the same portions every time I visit a restaurant, if I am expected to pay the same amount for a dish! O'Charleys is extremely inconsistent! My Husband and I came in for lunch and had the fish and chips, substituting broccoli for the fries. It was fried nice and crunchy and we had a very good portion for it to be lunch. I decided to stop in on November 25, to grab some dinner, so I order the fish and chips, substitute broccoli. I got 3 little pieces of a piece of fish, not crunchy and golden like the last time. I asked about the portion, they assured me that it was correct, until I showed the pic of my food from last week..... totally different! Totally disappointed!
