Great fun, delicious food, excellent and friendly service! It is always clean and they have a nice cozy fireplace. Marissa is the best waitress. She is friendly, remembers what you want from one visit to another. Will eagerly give recommendations.

This is a nice place to have a meal. The walls are full of photos and artwork for sale. Nice idea to decorate and make extra income. I like the salads and we have never had a bad meal. They have your regular breakfast items, the coffee is not bad. They also have many choices of delectable desserts. They do have a separate area for parties or groups. The employees there are so nice. They do greet you with a smile and seat you pretty quickly. Now I can say that for me it's not memorable. Except for the employees, I can't say that there is one meal that I just got to have or crave. Which is not a bad thing as at least you can try different meals when you visit. They do have specials and discounts through a few apps. One of them I think is through Uber. You can look it up on line.

Coffee not weak not to strong.

We enjoy our breakfast dates at various places. This week it was perk-cup cafe....wasn't a mistake. This place will make you perk up a definite,at least 8 out of 10,server at first was a little bland but she was nice the food is excellent. They have house made deserts and if they are like the scones we had you won't be disappointed. The bill was 35.00 and that included a 6.00 tip.if you're looking for a nice clean place(bathroom was spotless) then perk up and get to perk-cup cafe.

Stoped in on a Wednesday morning around 9:00, after a visit to my doctor's office. Noticed all the cars in the parking lot and knew there wasn't an outbreak of malaria nearby, so I assumed they were here for some other reason. Glad I came in. The service was a bit slow getting seated and then getting my order placed, but to reiterate, just a BIT slow. The place was pretty crowded and the lag in service wasn't due to people not caring. I wanted something light and simple, so I asked for 2 eggs over medium, ham steak, coffee and water. The food came right out (brought by a different person than the one that took my order- good teamwork!) and was exactly what I expected. There is also a nice 'lounge' area with a couple of leather chairs on either side of a fireplace. Nice alternative to a Starbucks. Would not hesitate to come back again. After I paid, waitress asked if I wanted a cup of coffee to go. 4 stars just went to 5!

I also had the Bacon Cesear Wedge, which was not traditional wedge salad, it was made with romain - that luckily was still very crisp! It was a good portion, but could have been a little cheaper at $16. The bacon was made fresh, it is an open kitchen concept with a window so I literally watched her make it which was refreshing. I stopped in last minute while out running errands. I was seated immediately on a busy Saturday late morning and greeted right after. The menu is fantastic. Great options, wonderful seasonal specials. (Short rib omelette?! Hell yes!) I wanted basic, so I built my own omelette with a side of bacon and a hot tea. They have a great drink menu- coffee, specialty cocoas, tea, cocktails, mocktails, and refreshers. I was on my way to see a friend, so I grabbed us each a refresher to go. My meal was out in just minutes. Expertly prepared, fresh and delicious. Also a very nice portion. Sourdough toast was excellent. Generous filling for the omelette too. The only drawback was a common plight for strip mall restaurants- entrance that opens straight into the dining room. No foyer or vestibule means the cold January air nipped you in the face every time that front door opened. On cold days, get a table in the back. I'd like to highlight the mocktail concept, too. I often want a spirited drink but don't imbibe booze often. I love that they have offerings. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. I can't wait to come back!

Anyone who only gives 4/5 or 5/5 food doesn't know a damn thing about food or service. First watch has perfected the 'one-off diner' experience in a chain. They have a great, full menu, like what Denny's used to be, only on steroids. Their menu: They offer all the favorites. From Eggs Benedict, to Sausage and Gravy to your usual breakfast staples you'd expect from a breakfast-diner experience. Although they do serve sandwiches, I don't recommend them. Breakfast/brunch food is their strong suit. Their pancakes are nice and fluffy and they offer a variety of them from blueberry to banana. Waffles galore, and toast with jam. They know how to make eggs any way you want them. The Ambiance: It's very much a diner experience with diner service. It's passable. That's all you need. Not exceptional, not poor. The good news is that no matter what location. You go to, (I've been to 3), there is always a short wait list, which is a good sign. You're never waiting long, just be patient. It's a sturdy, good experience! Don't downplay a 3 star review. I'm honest. One or Two stars? I'd be careful. But repect the 3 star review as good, reliable, and worth visiting! The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.

It's popular with students, with educators, with local residents, and with whomever has had it recommended to them ... like me. I have had two people tell me about Cafe Ah-Roma and one was a local friend who now prefers coffeehouses in suburbs closer to the lake. Regardless, everyone you ask about it seems to know exactly where Cafe Ah-Roma is. When first told about it, I thought it had something to do with Rome. It then became very obvious it's a play on the word aroma that will additionally have you making an "ah" sound for relief and/or elation. The interior is comfortable like an old shoe and, based on the postings, art work, and vibe, the store has real connectedness to its community. Note that this area leans slightly liberal but not ridiculously so. That means you might even see a Karen or two in here. Also, true to the notion that "culture comes from the top down," the staff that helps you, often students, are very polite and customer-focused when the chain coffeehouses are almost at the point of sliding things at you. These are good values that the owners are passing on to employees and, here, it's about the customers. They want to know that you are happy with your purchase. I want to add that, to go with your coffee or tea, they have cookies, pastries, or could put together something savory for you. In my case, I added a tomato basil bagel with a vegetable spread that they made for me. It's all good. The prices for menu items are also fair. This coffeehouse is in the suburb immediately south of the international airport. Only a few hotels are north of CLE, with most of them being south in Berea or Middleburg Heights. If staying at a nearby hotel, this locale is nearby. Cafe Ah-Roma is for everyone and the broad customer base is really interesting. In more temperate weather, there are exterior chairs and tables under the covered walkway to nearby stores. The interior is fairly spacious and bright. In closing, Ah-Roma deserves high marks for being a good coffeehouse (4 stars) and then some, hence 5 stars.
