All three were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. They stayed open until 7:00 on Saturday to close our deal. We got exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted. Worst. Service. Ever. - Didn't notify me when my license plates came in...got pulled over for having expired temporary tags. Went to the dealership and they said, "oh, yeah, we forgot to send you notification that your plates were in. They came in like 2 months ago." - Went to have plates installed on my car. Didn't have the right equipment. Only installed the back plates...still don't have my front plates on - Service deperatment only open 9-5 on weekdays. And no, they won't give you a loaner car, and no, they're not open weekends. I work in the market so can't exactly get away during the day to have my plates installed - emailed my sales guy asking for help, his response: "Don't you live close to the dealership? Why can't you just come in?" ... read more

Following my previous review, Perillo reached out to me to help understand what went wrong during my previous visit. In order to make up for the mistakes they made during my first visit for service, they asked me for another shot to look at the reason for the service light coming back on, and to assess the AV outlet damage. When I brought my car in, I talked with both AJ and Caesar--both are great. They loaned me a car, although my car was out of warranty, which was really nice because they ended up keeping my car W-S. They repaired the AV outlet with epoxy, which works. They also repaired the airbag cable for $0 labor cost and a discount on the part. They detailed the car, and had it ready for me to pick up on Saturday morning... As luck would have it, I pulled out of Perillo and heard what sounded to be like the banging of a tin can coming from the rear passenger wheel. The noise accelerated as I did, and slowed down when I let off the gas. Frustrating. I talked to Israel on Monday, and he sent someone to my office (a 30 minute drive from Perillo) to give me a different loaner and take mine back for assessment. They fixed the issue that somehow came up while it was in their care, and returned the car to me the next day at my office-no charge for any of it. So...they went above and beyond, clearly, to repair the damaged relationship established on my first visit. I'm willing to give them another shot when my car needs servicing next, but I'll do so with trepidation. read more

Perillo needs a complete overhaul of its business model. It caters to a high quality product but lacks in customer service. I've seen the service department decline since the beginning of my lease. Lack of communication (not all service people lack communications skills, but most of them do) and timeliness is a huge problem. Almost seems like they don't care because they're the only show running in the city for BMW. Also I've had to ask numerous times to wash my damn car after it's been serviced. We pay good money to Perillo and the least they can do if wash the car. Next time I'll deal with Fields BMW if I get another car. Perillo has lost many good people and as a result, customer service is horrible. Makes your wonder why they've lost most of their good people. I hope they fix things, but from my experience, it's only getting worse. As I'm writing this, I just witnessed another pissed customer because they didn't wash the car after driving it out from service. Wow....Come on Perillo.....get it together! read more

Racist staff everyone before me was approached with an warm welcome and a smile. Once I was next everyone went back to their desk and no one assisted me. The only reason they are getting one star is because I can't give them no stars. No one approached me for 5 minutes as I pulled into the service department for a 1pm appointment. Once I was finally approached by someone they told me where to wait for my multi point inspection to be complete. After waiting for 20 minutes I had Perillo employee ask me what I was doing there. Perillo call me to schedule now no one here knows why I'm here and has no record of my appointment. I have gotten sub par customer service and no one seems to care. I have never felt more alienated disrespected and taken advantage of in my life. The whole service crew as sitting 5 feet from me at their desk talking to each other and didn't say a word. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years this reflects poorly on management and all staff training. read more

THE WORST Customer Service and Car Service. No INTEGRITY. No Customer Care. This service group gives BMW a bad name. The Service Managers make a COMMISSION off the total of the vehicle bill which encourages them to be dishonest about what is necessary to actually repair your vehicle. I took my vehicle to the service group because it would not start. Periilo told me they did not know what was wrong with the vehicle but needed to charge me $155 to start the diagnostic and another $500 for labor to replace a part (a resistor) they could not be sure would resolve my issue. It was almost as if they did not have 10 BMW technicians working for them. I've never heard of a resistor preventing a car from starting before. I kept suggesting a fuel filter or fuel pump. They would not listen. How do you run a BMW Service shop and not know the intricacies of a BMW? RIP-OFF I took my car to Midwest Performance Auto, they resolved the issue in 24 hours, at discounted rates with no vague explanations of what caused my car trouble. A fuel filter and a fuel pump was all I need and at 1/2 the price Perillo was trying to rip me off at. Perillo could only wish to have as much talent and integrity. read more

I always dislike the LONG wait for my car at pick up though and the car is typically not ready when they say it will be. I just bought a 2014 335 I M Sport and I was very satisfied with the service that I received. Frank Billman was my salesperson and the guy is awesome. He was like no other car salesman I've ever met. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me a few different options. Definitely the coolest car salesman out there. If you're going to buy a BMW I recommend using Frank. I must admit, I was a little apprehensive when I read the Yelp reviews. I bought my car last year out in the burbs but Perillo is much more convenient for me living in the city. So I was disappointed to read of the experiences some customers have had. That being said, I believe in seeing for myself. And I'm glad I did. Absolutely everyone I interacted with in the service department was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to give good service. I can't speak to what other people have said but it seems that their comments have not fallen on deaf ears -- Perillo seems genuinely committed to turning around their image and doing their best to make sure they provide the top notch service befitting a luxury brand. I received a horrible customer service experience today at perillo bmw. 1st issue was that a few days before my appointment I called to find out about a maintenance plan and left a voicemail and no one ever called me back. 2nd issue was that my service rep Hubert was short with me and had a smart remark when I told him another mechanic said it was near impossible to run down brand new breaks in a year and 4 months. After all bmw is suppose to be a step above right! Wrong! I was then told it was my fault because I had put 20,000 miles on my car. Then after I agreed to have them look at my breaks despite being uneasy about his customer service I then went in to the service desk to inquire about the loaner and maintenance plan. She directed me to another room where they then told me to talk to the reps in an entirely different area. When I then went to that area he told me finance would actually be the ones to handle it and that they didn't come in until 10am. After much frustration I asked the service desk rep to ask the man to bring my car back down because I no longer even wanted their service. She told me to go tell the reps outside who take the cares up. After telling her no she proceeded to raise her voice and tell me to just go tell them. I explained that you never send a customer to do part of your job. She then finally called Hubert down and he tried to explain his self but at that point I was just done with the service. Having a bmw is all about the experience and the quality care and today bmw failed at both of those things. read more

Worst BMW dealership in the entire state. While there they broke off my drivers side mirror in their detail shop and told me I would have a new mirror within a week. After 2 weeks I called and was told the mirror was in the pain shop. After another two weeks I still do not have a drivers mirror... I think Perillo BMW feels that they have monopolized the market in the city of Chicago and people have not other choice; but I would highly encourage to go to any suburban BMW service dealers than to experience the lack of customer attention at Perillo. I own a 2007 X3 with 58,000 miles. I was very happy with it until recently my wife had to deal with the service department at Perillo BMW in Chicago (where I bought the car). My car was running unusually, it had troubles starting and had a rough idle; finally it wouldn't start. We took the car in to the service department on Monday Oct 19. They "fixed" the transmission and charged me $1200. We got the car back yesterday evening and this morning (Wed, Oct 21) the rough idle is back and the acceleration/power is noticeably off. The car is running worse than before we first brought it in. We took the car back to the service department today and were informed that the two technicians who worked on it are in "training" today, so they can't do anything for us. Then the technician shrugged his shoulders, told my wife it could be the ignition coils which could go at any time, and we would have to pay more to get those fixed. The whole experience was very rude and the staff is quite rough. Perillo took my money, didn't fix my car, possibly even messed up my car further, and then wanted to charge me even more to "fix" it again! This is outrageous. I will never buy a car from Perillo agan, this is not the kind of service I expect from BMW. I will be taking my business to Audi, in fact I've decided to go buy a Q5 in cash today! I suggest BMW review its relationship with Perillo. Luxury buyers don't enjoy being treated poorly. read more

I recently purchased a CPO 4 Series from Perillo BMW and had a nice and pleasant experience! All the staff were courteous and professional. In particular, Garrett Goldstein from the Sales Team who personally worked with me, has been extremely helpful, professional, and nice! I had to go back to Perillo a couple of times after my purchase for some follow ups and he enormously helped me set up my service appointments and always followed up with me before and after the appointment to make sure my visit went smoothly! Came in for a key because I locked mine in the trunk. The process went pretty smooth, I was in and out within five minutes. The guys were easy to talk to and helpful. They even offered to teach me how to program the key when I pick it up. The key was ready the next day (thank god, some research on the internet were pointing to 3 days). I took off one star because they did say that they will call me as soon as the key comes in, well I didn't receive a call the next day, I called myself. read more

We had the most incredible experience at Perillo BMW with Sean Dwyer. My husband and I were not even expecting to find something perfect because we were in between a couple different models as well as specific specifications. When we went into the dealer we were greeted by some of the guys, and asked who we were looking for. We had a 'soft' appointment with the internet salesperson but he was super packed that night. Which ended up great for us because we met Sean. He was so personable and nice from the start. He wasn't pushy, he was even going to tell the guy we were waiting for but we decided we didn't need to talk to him. We were just looking to test drive some cars so we figured Sean could help us. He quickly led us to test driving without many questions so we liked his style. Sean is a great salesman because he doesn't push and try to sell what he wants. He's honest about the different advantages/specs of each model and gives you what you want. We quickly connected with Sean and he found an exact car that we wanted, and did the best he could to reach our ideal payments, we are so grateful! read more

STAY AWAY!!! Perillo is a horrible BMW dealership. I purchased my BMW from Perillo and once you are out of warranty they treat you like dirt! They will hold your car for days if you bring it in for service. They NEVER answer their service phones either. I literally had to take a cab to the dealership to see if my car was done being serviced because they never called to tell me if it was ready or not. It wasn't ready so another cab fare wasted. Have the decency to return calls! The staff is rude as hell too. They act all smug and like snobs and just because your vehicle isn't less than 2 years old they snub you. Their service department is full of rude nasty people. It's like dealing with greasy and measly ex-convicts at Perillo. I have no idea how they are still in business. I'm taking the next step and reporting them to the BBB of Chicago. read more

I have been taking my car to Perillo for small maintenance work off and on for the past couple years. My most recent experience will be my last. The staff was shockingly rude and indifferent. The estimates they gave me were OUTRAGEOUS, nearly double estimates from other places and I felt pressure from the staff for every overzealous service they recommended. I left my car there the entire day to have an oil change, called when I was on my way to be sure the car would be ready - and still waited over an HOUR once I got there. -and then I received a call the next day to tell me my car was ready for pick up... the car i had picked up nearly 24 hours before. These people get a lot of cars in for service every day and some people there don't seem to show much interest in individual customers. That being said they replaced my water pump within one day and even washed the car for me. Some people were friendly there, others were not. Wonderful experience at Perillo BMW. This was only my second time buying a car and I was extremely nervous. Jason Neagu was absolutely amazing and so patient. I had a few questions and even got cold feet for a split second and started to second guess the car I was going to purchase. I asked him if I could test drive one more vehicle before making my final decision. He was so polite and assured me it wasn't a problem to get the other car ready for a test drive. Of course, after test driving the other vehicle, I went back to my original decision and bought the one I had previously chosen. Worst service experience! My husband and I sat on hold with the service department for 1 hour, long enough to drive to the Clark location. Upon arrival my called had not been answered; we then sat in the service garage for another 15 minutes before anyone approached us. If I knew this was the service that came along with a $90,000 vehicle purchase I would have never bought it. Completely disappointed with Perillo BMW. I have read the reviews for Perillo BMW and I just do not get it. I just bought a vehicle from Perillo and have received the greatest of service even when some issues came up. My sales guy Mark, service rep Brad,mechanic Darren and basically the whole staff are terrific. I never once have walked in and received attitude or bad service. I get a great customer service experience and will continue to go there for my repair/maintenance service and purchase of other BMWs. PS - The issue I had was resolved and pinpointed correctly by the service dept. They also kept in contact with me the whole time they were investigating the issue. read more

Brad (my service guy) and Alex (my tech guy) did an excellent job with the work they did to my vehicle. Although they had it for 10 days, it was mostly due to warranty having to come out! They gave me a nice loaner for 10 days, so I had nothing to complain about. Brad was great my first visit and also when I picked up the vehicle, and also Alex kept me in touch with everything that was going on with the vehicle. I would come back again because they did a great job and plus the loaners are always a plus. I've told my friends about my experience and I will definitly come back to get everything else done.
