I went in to this location on an ice cold December day recently for a new battery. Armando was quick to provide all the deals and batteries AZ could provide even for my older 2013 vehicle. Not only that but energetic and affable Armando cheerfully installed the battery in the parking lot while freezing fingers to the bone. That itself took some doing because my ancient battery had totally rusted over and the connectors broke off and had to be replaced (I had let things go too long, my bad.) I stopped in today to get a lightbulb in a headlight replaced. I normally go to my dealership but it was over a week for an appointment and this seemed important. I recently had a multipoint inspection at a Subaru dealership and needed one of my brake lights replaced. In an effort to save money I brought my car to autozone to buy the bulb and hoped they would help with the replacement. Nancy delivered big time and I would give her 10 stars if I could! She looked up my car's make/model, grabbed the specific bulb I needed, and replaced it so quickly and efficiently. She was careful with my car and had me in and out of there in about 10 minutes. I visited on a Saturday at 2pm. The sales manager was not friendly and did not help with my check engine light. I greeted him and made sure to be friendly. He told me to go and hook up the check engine light tool myself and bring it back in when he was done. When I came back inside he printed the report and handed it to me. When I asked for an explanation he was short with me and said to go to a technician. LUIS. I can't even say enough good things about him and this Auto Zone. A friend's car had a small problem in the middle of driving home from a great day out. Luckily Auto Zone was close by and Luis was available to check it out. Almost immediately he said "Look... I'm not here to lie to you. Here's your problem. Here's the solution. Let me help you fix it." We didn't have to jump through hoops, and he didn't try to sell us unnecessary things; it was all straightforward. That's the kind of business I think we all can appreciate, and yet it's so rare. The car has been perfect since then, so I can say with confidence that he knew what he was talking about and led us in the right direction. I never thought I'd write a review about an AutoZone, or any car place. I'm a girl! I know nothing about this stuff. But really, I love this place! I'm always in and out in less than five minutes because the staff here is amazing. The guys who work here practically follow me into the aisles to ask if they can help me with something. They tell me which products are the best, and it's not always the priciest item, either. Somehow, they always manage to find a coupon for me when I'm checking out, too. I had an issue that Vanessa was able to give me great advice and guidance, and get me the exact items I needed to resolve my issue completely. Also, during check-out, there was some sort of glitch in the system and Vanessa was able to do whatever magic she did to get me checked out. So I've been having issues with my car battery, my dealer was charging me an arm to get it replaced, thought I'd shop around find a better price. I went to Auto Zone on western and waveland. So glad i did! Can I just say that customer service isn't dead at this location. Juan Carlos Romero was there taking care of my car needs and not only was he courteous he explained throughly what was gonna happen, he replaced the battery cleared out the area where my old battery was, tested it and did all this in great time. I noticed yesterday that both of my low beam lights went out & needed to get them replaced urgently. I called one (non- Auto Zone) shop & they said each bulb would be $60 (for a '13 Chevy). I called this auto zone shop and spoke with Erik on the phone who confirmed they had my bulbs in stock, gave me the price point ($12.99-$15.99), and even offered to help switch the bulbs out if he was able to easily access them. When I arrived, he promptly bundled up (it was freezing outside!), assessed access to my car, rang up my purchase & helped install my new bulbs. This 5 star rating if for VANESSA and Vanessa alone! On 12-23-22 when it was below zero, my car died. Autozone was the closest to me and it was 6pm. The first person I spoke to was Christian who didnt look at my vehicle but told me he couldnt help. Vanessa said she would take a look in between replacing 4 other peoples batteries and replacing wipers for another 6 cars at once! With absolutely no help from the other person working there. Did not once offer to help bring out a battery or carry a dead one in. I was so repulsed by Christian's laziness. Auto zone should be happy to have an assest like Vanessa on their team! She did excellent work and went above and beyond! There is not enough space on this page for me to rave about the service she provided. She spent over an hour on my car alone cause the last nut on the battery was rusted and unable to remove. She got it off and replaced the battery. read more

I don't mind it because I spend no more than 2 minutes in the store before I am on my way with what I need. This store is fantastic - the staff was super helpful in finding the part I needed and then offered to install it for me. When the one employee couldn't get it quite right, he sent out the manager to finish installing the part. They did all this in the freezing cold and were really cordial at the same time. Husbands car battery was failing so we stopped by an autozone, they sent us to another one- but heading down western we saw this auto zone and stopped in to see if they had the battery we needed. Worst AutoZone I've ever been at. Went there to replace rear lightbulb. Then I waited over 30 minutes in parking lot, waiting for someone to come and replace it for me. When I went back to check if anyone is going to help me, they told me they were very busy, which is bullshit, store was empty and guy was scrolling his facebook. He was very unhappy about having to help me. He couldn't get to the light from inside the trunk, so he took off while back light and scratched my car, what I found out later when got back home. Horrible costumer service!!!! Yesterday, I had to bay and replace an old battery. Unfortunately, I come to the store without my car, because the battery was dead. I knew in advance that Auto Zone offers free installation, however, giving my circumstances I had to buy the tools and install it myself. When I asked the salesman what tools I need to get it done, he was trying to sell two can-openers instead of the tool box. After installing the battery myself, I came back to the same location to ask the same to tight up screw. Instead of helping, he was about to give me the needed tool saying "you know what to do right ". This is outrageous!!!! Then after reminding him that he better do it himself, he went to do some shitty job ( not to mention that he was on talking on the phone the whole time)- removing the other cables from the battery so I had to put it back myself again. Autozone - need to start hiring professionals, not just Kidds who couldn't care less about their summer job!!!!! read more

I always have such a positive experience at this Auto Zone! This location is the one closest to my apartment and so I've been a couple times- the customer service is really reliable even when the car is finicky. On my most recent trip, I needed a new bulb for my blinker and Vinnie installed it perfectly (and in the freezing wind) and did so graciously. For a young single woman it's really great to have kind and reliable car help! The staff helps you out with deals instead of trying to push expensive items into your cart. I would travel 25 miles if I had to,to this location.
