So far great prices and Great service. I did not know about them until reference to a friend's Mechanic who uses them a lot to save on the cost of repair and maintenance. Also beats the prices from the Big Auto Parts store like O'reily, Advanced Auto Parts and Autozone as well as the small local places in Chicago like Maverick Auto Parts. Owner, Julio is also very helpful in working with you and careful before you buy a certain part you might not know if it fits or not. What I like about this place is that the owner actually knows what he's talking about and does a really good job of identifying your problem and makes some good recommendations to fix it. I bought a car from him that was in really good shape. After I put about 4000 miles on it, it started going through some typical wear and tear type problems. I went to the owner and he was able to get me some great deals on brand new tie rods and a water pump. Not only that, but he was able to recommend me to a mechanic that would do it for pretty cheap too. This place is not going to be like a Pep Boys or Auto Zone, but you will find any part for your car at a price that Auto Zone and Pep Boys cannot beat. read more

Great owner-operated auto parts store. Unlike the big-box auto stores they will give you personal help and advice and even faster service. Parts that aren't in stock at the store show up in an hour or so for pick-up -instead of "Come back Tomorrow Morning" like I always hear from the big-box stores as they get something from a far-off out of town central warehouse. If you don't want to wait until tomorrow to finish your project then go to a small independent shop like this which uses a local parts distributor to source parts. Prices are competitive too -sometimes even cheaper. And where else can you go and get a "menu-board" of items and prices on the outside wall of the building? I recently moved to the Chicago/Logan Square area. Not knowing to many auto repair shops. I stopped at Julio's Auto Parts to get pricing on a couple of things I needed for my car. After searching around to my surprise Julio's was by far the cheapest I found. a lot of these auto repair places will try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge, but it wasn't the case here at Julio's. This was my go to place for auto parts, however, I was being stalked & while I was here picking up parts, my stalker came in to harass me, I am a long time customer, so you would think the owner would ask the 6'2 man who was stalking me & making threatening gestures to leave, or at least call the police & help me feel safe, Instead he asked us both to leave the store. I left & called the police & when I asked if I could have footage of the incident so I can press charges, I was given a b.s story about how they didn't know how to work Their camera system. It's cold AF in Chicago right now and the battery quit on my car. We're saving our money because we're going on vacation really soon, and after the holidays money is really tight. We called asking if they had a battery and he advised that they had a refurbished one for cheap, but said that he would pick up a new battery and give us a discount if we traded in our dead one. Well, the timing got complicated and we couldn't get a jump in time before the store closed today so we walked there. It was decently close. He gave us the battery, already like $50 cheaper than we would get it at Auto Zone but said that we could bring the receipt in with the old battery next week and get more money back. I wasn't expecting him to be as accommodating because we had already dealt with unaccommodating people at an Auto Zone and with the emergency roadside assistance people. Everyone - give this super nice guy your business so he can make gobs of money and hire someone to do minor things like battery installations :). read more

Needed a house key duplicated on short notice - was able to walk in and out within 5 minutes and for $1.50 - can't be that! Friendly people and fast inexpensive service. I will be going here for all key needs (as I don't have a car :) ). read more

At first glance this place doesn't look like much however they are the best place to get auto parts in the area! Went there a couple of months ago for an alternator which was priced $200 cheaper than autozone. Sadly, the alternator was faulty but they had no issue switching it out. They didn't complain or hassle me about exchanging it. Wonderful workers that seem like they actually care. Can't beat the prices! read more

Julios never disappoints! Great small family owned and run business since as long as I can remember. They will find what you need and always thee best prices no matter what. Very friendly and go the extra length to help you. These guys have come outside to help with battery swaps, wiper replacements, fluid top offs. Great store. No need to go to one of the big ones, this place can have whatever you need in an hour or two. They are very helpful and it's a great resource to have in the hood when your car is broken down and you need to walk someplace! Prices are competitive and people are helpful. read more

The best auto parts shop around. No comparison to autozone and the other thieves around the corner. Truly a neighborhood gem. I needed a battery for my dad's car and he sold me one for $35, that was over a year ago and it is still running perfectly.
