My car's AC went out, I requested a quote and got a response immediately. Not only did they get me in same day, I received service to my AC along with service to my brakes (front and back) all in one day. They explained that my roaters were still great, saving me $$$$$$ My quote was exactly what I paid and was so impressed that I went back to fix my stereo. My Cadillac has never been happier! I highly recommend this place for all your car needs! read more

I can't say enough about how incredibly knowledgeable and efficient these guys are at what they do. Scott (the owner) is always on the ball and they have never taken advantage of situations, even when the rightfully probably could have. They have helped me out in some desperate time sensitive situations and they went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. read more

I'm gonna start this off by saying that I'm absolutely blown away by Scott and the crew out at Performance Complete Auto Care. They went above and beyond when it came to my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I'm a military guy that hasn't been in the area long, so I tried to be cautious about where I took my vehicle. This place was mentioned to me at work and had solid reviews, and after dealing with Scott and seeing the dedication he and his crew have to doing the job right while remaining totally BS free, I understood why. These guys were able to pinpoint what was going on with my Jeep and get it running better than ever. And the cost? You can't beat it. I seriously can't thank Scott enough for the awesome job he and his guys did. Truly was a blessing doing business with them, and I'll be a customer here till the Air Force sends me elsewhere read more

Knowledgeable and fair pricing. Quick to answer questions via Yelp messaging. No BS. Got service, spark plugs replaced and 3 ignition coils replaced for a friend and Scott was kind enough to explain things clearly. read more

With COVID 19, I am working from home on the far east side. My car has been sitting - and you guessed it - the pack rats found a new chew toy. Initially, I took the car to the Kia dealership, whom I like, on Speedway. I decided to try Performance because Scott & Meghan are neighbors and because they are closer to my home. I like going local. They did an amazing job on my car. They talk you through their inspection and their repair. They are cautious with spending your money. They keep you informed. We also took our truck to them for a window repair (it would not go up or down). The repair was done. I have liked Meghan and Scott as neighbors - and now as our car mechanics. We highly recommend them. Check out their reviews on Google as well. read more

I'm a displaced traveler that had felt the effects of the Creek Fire in CA, up close and personal. I was in AR hoping for a safe haven. I found some of the greatest people here in Tucson and my thoughts could start anywhere but it's gonna be this special mechanic shop in the Southern most part of Tucson, (from what I can even tell). But it was worth it to get the help they gave me. I have never seen such class and above and beyond -manship. Which is a blessing, they run a great mechanic shop that truly cares about the customer. In these big brand days that people can afford commercials running at all hours. It's these shops that deserve the attention. Don't forget the small business owners made America. So with that a huge thank you, and an even bigger Bless you. Awesome work guys read more

I really appreciated that they explained exactly what went wrong with my car without mansplaining it

Great team of experts that get your car beautiful. My go to for all of my vehicles!

I came in with a problem, they worked with me and provided a great price. Beat all the other quotes I got. But guess what? It wasn't cheap service. It was honest hardworking American service and I appreciate that. They value freedom, and they are free to work on my car any day. Because I know it's moral and honest work. read more

They completed a mountain of work on my car in 2 days for an absolutely killer price. Did a great job,Scott is the man!! Update: Immediately had more issues unrelated to their original work (older vehicle). Had to go back in a couple more times. They were so awesome every time, they completed the work in a timely fashion, and Megan is always super friendly. 10/10. read more

earlier this year my engine was destroyed due to a bad oil change at jiffy lube. scott and his team held on to my car during a weeks-long claim process with jiffy lube and worked with the claim adjuster. he even gave me advice through navigating the process and was kind enough to call with my dad (a mechanic of 40+ years) in my home state to relay what was going on with my car. eventually replaced my engine and now i always come here to get my oil changed. extremely caring, genuine, trustworthy team here at performance auto! read more

Amazing customer service!! Scott and Megan went above and beyond to take care of us. Even from the moment we walked in greeted by the sweetest little shopdog, Butters. Scott was very honest and knowledgeable with what our car's needs were. Little bit of a drive to get to them but well worth it, pricing are better than the rest because they don't have as high of overhead so the savings is passed along to the customer. We will definitely be back for any and all car issues we have. read more

I feel like I avoided a complete auto scam from Scott and Megan. I brought a 2008 Toyota Sienna to them for a pre-purchase inspection on May 6, 2021, and unfortunately paid $130 for the scam attempt. Scott recommended replacing the serpentine belt $90, power steering pump (leaking) $450, return power steering hose $87, and power steering flush $90 (in addition to other fluid services). The vehicle drove fine! There was absolutely no power steering symptoms... the steering wheel was easy to turn and there was no noise at that time. I purchased the vehicle in the early afternoon that same day and left the vehicle with them overnight. Initially I decided to have the power steering work done and also repair to the windshield for a chip $40. Later that same afternoon, I called and canceled the power steering work as the situation just didn't add up to me, (no symptoms). The next day, I picked up the van and drove it back to Sierra Vista (where I live). The original windshield chip was repaired, however, there was a new chip! In addition, a new noise: a clunking sound when the steering wheel was in a sharp turn. I took the van for 2 new tires and the owner of the tire shop told me that the bolts holding the rack and pinion were loose and that they wouldn't fix it, as they just do tires, but those loose bolts were the source of the clunking noise with sharp turns. So I next took the van to Midas because I wanted to be sure about the power steering pump and hose, and to get the rack and pinion bolts tightened. The mechanic there had me walk under the van while it was suspended in the work bay. He showed me the power steering pump. One bolt looked moist. He said that there was a small seepage and that it was nothing to worry about at this point, just to keep an eye on it in the future. The Midas mechanic tightened the loose bolts on the rack and pinion and told me that it was actually quite dangerous to drive with loose bolts, that turning a corner at even low speeds could result in the front tires going sideways and the van could flip. Ouch. The next day I took the van into the Toyota dealership. They changed the oil and did a multi-point inspection. They also noted a power steering pump seep, with recommendation for watching it. They did not recommend replacing the serpentine belt. I not recommend Performance Complete Auto Care shop to anyone. Zero stars. read more

I went in last month after a trip to Phoenix. I had a check engine code come on.. looked into it and it was sounding like a thermostat issue, so I took it to Performance and upon walking in and talking to Scott within minutes he pulled a guy to put in on the scanner, determine it was in fact the thermostat, and got started on it asap! This is the kind of service Scott (the owner) provides.. fast, efficient & friendly always. Even if they are busy and have a lot of work, Scott is still friendly & professional and makes sure to make appointments that are very convenient for the customer. read more

Not quite sure where to start. I am new here in Tucson and need auto work done. I ran across Performance Complete Auto Care while searching. Was a bit skeptical from all the good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. This is an exceptional company! They truly care for their customers and they truly care that you are completely satisfied with their service. After they completed their work, they even took my car to get an inspection where it passed! They are my go to auto repair place. Completely satisfied! read more

We came to Tucson to visit family and ended up noticing an oil leak under our Audi. We had just had the car serviced back home in California so this was completely unexpected and frustrating. We hopped on Yelp and Megan @ performance Auto replied to us not only quickly but willing to assist us on a day they're usually closed. Within 15 mins we had peace of mind that someone could assist us before we had to drive the 400 miles back home. We've since had our leak repaired - were in and out within an hour and since we had the part we needed replaced, Scott gave us a tremendous deal. I can't say enough good things about this experience. If you're looking for LEGIT, RELIABLE & HONEST service - try them out. I can say I don't think I've had a better car experience. THANK YOU GUYS read more

I called their office in the morning and I was able to make a same day appointment to get my brake job done, when I took my car there Megan was very professional and polite she let me know that they would look at the car give me an estimate before performing work I was able to go off and spend the day with my daughter. Performance Automotive trip checked and repaired my Winnebego Realto RV for less than half the price the dealer quoted to make my RV ready for my summer drive to San Francisco. Repairs were completed on the same day. Why wait a week for the dealer to fix my RV when Performance Automotive can complete the repairs on the same day at half the price. I appreciated the good customer service. Performance Automotive gave me a lift home after I dropped off my RV and picked me up from home after the work was complete ...... at no charge. I would not take my car to any other auto mechanic other than to Performance Complete Auto Care. Scott has been taking care of my car, my son's car, my daughter-in-law's car, my sister and brother's cars for many years. He's reliable, trustworthy, and also so so reasonable. We all have older cars, so when something goes wrong, we no longer panic that we'll be spending an arm and leg to repair our cars. He always repairs them with cost in mind to help us out. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to knowing about cars, even hybrid cars. Thank goodness for Scott in this family run business. read more
