I went in yesterday afternoon and the place was super busy while under construction. After waiting for my flat tire repair, I asked Wes if it would be better to bring it in this morning, he said yes and apologized for me having to wait. This morning I brought it in at 8:15, and while they were once again very busy, and his tire tech called in sick, Wes repaired the tire himself! I was done in about 15 minutes! They have always done excellent work for us, with no 'the part will be here tomorrow' delays, and no surprise costs. In the one instance they weren't able to isolate the electrical problem they hooked us up with an excellent competitor who could. And if that's not enough for you, Sammy is the Steven Tyler of automotive repair shop managers. If I were a female I would find out what hours Sammy works and I would unplug or unscrew or break a little something on my Prius every week or two just to go sit in the lobby and flirt with him. Tony is the MAN! His customer service & knowledge have made Performance Auto Care the only place I'll take my cars! (sad story to a minimum mode) The engine in my 08 Ford Ranger was in dire need of some work following it making a hideous noise on the freeway one Saturday night. Being that Performance Auto Care was the only shop open on Sunday anywhere around me, I had it towed there. Tony gave me a call to give me the bad news by late Sunday morning. By that evening, I was in talking to him about my options. Obviously none of them were great (being that 2 pistons shot out of the oil pan). Tony was extremely empathetic to my situation & broke down my options and made me very comfortable with the purchase of the new engine. Sure, it wasn't a great feeling - but that is all on my side of the table. Tony was able to confidently walk me through the options & actually come through with stellar service AND he did it while hitting every expectation he had set in our conversation - price, time to complete, standing by the work when I ran into a leak a few days later (not their fault! One of the rebuilt engine head gaskets was to blame, and he took care of that through the warrantee!) I am a customer for life - And did I mention they're open on Sunday?!? They even offer a 2 year warranty on everything so I'm always pleased having the extra year coverage that the dealer doesn't offer! My check engine light arcane on and my car started shaking very badly on a Saturday. I called several shops in the area and none were open on the weekend. Performance Auto answered and were very transparent about when to expect my car to be done and the price. They kept it overnight which was fine by me because I didn't need it until Monday. When I came to pick it up, I paid LESS than what they originally quoted me because they took off one of the charges for keeping it overnight.
