First my car wouldn't start, after speaking to multiple auto shops, this was the only one who could see me right away without having to wait a few days, huge relief considering I use my car every day! I went in to get a smog done for my car. The guy in front told me they are all booked that day and I should make an appointment, so I did. I should have called in first. I showed up @1604 for my 1600 appointment, and it was done by 1626 including all the info. taking. I had a coupon for $30, including the "Certification Fee" other places don't tell you about until you are done. Everybody who works there are courteous, called me Ma'am and Miss with smiles on their faces. I am hoping their employer is taking good care of them!! So thankful I found Performance Auto Care to help me out when my car took a turn for the worst! I had regularly gotten my oil changed here and my tires rotated for 3 years. I always get a 5 star service that comes with trust, knowledge and a positive experience! One day driving on the freeway my Prius battery system literally shut down on me and somehow I was able to slowly make it to an off ramp safely... not knowing much about cars and being a woman can be kind of scary and you can easily get talked into paying way more than you should or told there are more issues that you didn't know about. I called the shop, AAA towed my car to performance auto care after hours but Tony assured me that my car would be safe with the keys left in the drop box and they would diagnose it first thing the next morning. My first visit there was to fix a battery light issue on dash and Tony was very professional, friendly, and honest with his estimate and assessment. I'm in the process of restoring my 04 Acura RSX and him and his team have been nothing short of excellent. My car still needs some cosmetic work but is running better than it was when it was brand new and stock and now has some upgraded components. The shop did me a new cat converter and took the time to check it out again when I had even the slightest urge to have them just double check everything again. Confirmed with outside sources it's pretty common for your car to cough up phlem so-to-say after a good cleaning on the inside after such an operation and car is running better than before the issue in the first place. Fast and Professional Service It was a Walk in Oil Change and very promptly they brought my car into a bay and started. Little did I realize they did the 36 point vehicle inspection. And Thank you "Big Guy" Mark for doing so. He kindly asked if I had a moment and brought me to the car and the engine. He caught ...well it looked like a big pile (sand) of foamy white and blue/green reaction on one of the battery connections on top of the battery itself. I will admit I don't have much reason to pop the hood. And it was under one of those battery cap thingies. He recommended a cleanup and put the things back together properly with coating etc. A little longer than expected but better than down the road and unexpected something something batterystuffallover the engine..
