I'm not a Dunkins fan so I will go out of my way to get a coffee elsewhere. I have stopped into Perfecto's several times hoping I would have a better experience, but no. I'm a black coffee drinker so if something is off with the taste I can tell right away. Each time I've had the iced coffee it tastes like tap water. You know, that chlorine taste? Ick! I suspect they are not properly filtering the water. I have not noticed the taste with the hot coffee, so it may be the ice that is the problem. In addition to the bad coffee, the service is not good. Several of the servers have seemed flat out annoyed. It's as if you're bothering them. Would it kill them to smile and ask what you'd like to order instead of barking out "next!". I understand mornings are busy, but being polite is a must in my book! read more

Perfectos is a solid three star bagel spot. They seems a little less doughy than wonderfully dense New York bagels. If I'm going splurge on carbs I want them to be their bready best. Perfectos bagels have lots of flavor but are missing that authentic NY texture for me. read more

I am inexorably hooked on Perfecto's. My pickins' have admittedly become slim since becoming a vegetarian (especially in the panini department) but I am feverishly committed to Perfecto's coffee. I love the chocolate raspberry muffins, the specialty bagels (e.g. spinach, pumpkin, powerbar) and their olive pimento cream cheese alone is worth dealing with minor lactose intolerance. But the highlight for me is their chocolate croissant...just resplendent. I wouldn't be the mayor of this place on Foursquare if it weren't absolutely awesome. read more

3 stars for the muffins, 0 stars for the bagels. Sorry I used to like their bagels but for the past year they have been no better then mushy bread with a hole in it. Bagels are supposed to be crusty on the outside and chewy/soft on the inside. They don't even make the chewy category. My thoughts are they make them that way because everybody wants them toasted and the starting consistency doesn't matter. Actually brueggers have a much better product. I am not looking for New York City perfection but step it up you have potential. And oh if you continue to make your tubs of cream cheese smaller try to hold the price rather then raising it. Always patient and friendly as I try to make up my mind. The bagels are fantastic. Fresh, full of whatever you order like sesame seed is totally covered. French toast bagel is yummy. Their hot sandwiches are good too. The coffee is rich and wonderful whether you get hot or cold. They also make their own smears. My favorite is honey walnut loaded with walnuts. My sons is jalapeño. I am in love with Perfectos. I worked here while in high school and fell in love with the food. Everything is baked in store and fresh daily! The have everything from Muffins, Bagels, Cookies, Paninis, Salads, Wraps, Breakfast Sandwiches etc. I am crazy about their Cubano Panini it's Ham, Turkey, Swiss Cheese, Pickles and Chipotle Mayo! I am still kicking myself for not discovering Perfecto's years ago. I passed several locations all the time and never realized it was a great coffee and bagel place. They need a better logo! I specifically went to the North Andover area to try out this place, and I was no disappointed. Located in the same plaza as the equally good grocery story, Butcher Boy, there is plenty of parking. The location wasn't crowded when my friend and I went in (note that like most bagel places the locations tend to get packed in the morning, especially on the weekend) and we didn't have long to wait for our order to be taken. I tried the broccoli cheddar soup and the mocha iced drink. I thought both were great. The prices are excellent too. They didn't have any focaccia bagels left, alas. I'd definitely return and wish there were a location closer to my home! read more

I love this place!! It's a 30 min drive but I still make the drive to come get their delicious bagels and iced coffee! I usually get the blueberry bagel with butter or a focaccia bagel with cream cheese. They also have a ton of other breakfast items and even lunch! Their iced coffee is brewed for people who don't like it as sweet but still want a flavor, but they also have caramel and mocha flavor shots to add in as well. Best bagels around! Hands down! There coffee is just ok and there service is pretty good also. We enjoy sitting outside in the warmer months with our dog just relaxing. lox and cram cheese on a sesame bagel is my favorite and my fiancé loves the chive cream cheese. One star because the service always makes the food taste bad. The servers are continuously rude every time I come here, whether the place is busy or not. They actually took my order faster when they had a line than when the place was empty. Perfecto's has been a family staple for as long as I can remember. Almost every weekend we will make a run to Perfecto's for a box of muffins or bagels. The muffins are delicious and the bagels are probably the best I've ever had. There is a good selection of flavors as well, which are always being switched up a bit. Some of the muffins with cream fillings might go a little heavy on the cream, so I recommend taking the top off and rotating it so you're eating the muffins like a sandwich. The sandwiches and wraps are pretty good too, as well as the cookies and biscotti. read more

Have read a couple of the other reviews here, especially for SERVICE/ATTITUDE and found them interesting. Perhaps they took the criticisms to heart. Poor service attitude was not my beef as I stumbled like a bleary eyed zombie into the local Perfectos. Was greeted sincerely by the woman at the cash register and the young women behind the display case -even before I got over there. Entering customers after me got same treatment. I don't expect such an effusive welcome when I go to any eatery, but admit it was nice. Oversized muffins, Corn and the special were good and worth the $6.00. I have usually put quality of product/convenience over nicey niceness of employee/servers but that is changing. L:ook forward to their bagel/western omelets next visit. read more

I prefer both the Andover and the Kennebunk locations to the North Andover one. The coffee and food are wonderful, just like the other locations, however I feel that the coffee flavors (especially iced) that they have available at any one time is minimal and always the same. Just about every other Saturday, I jump on the Vespa with my husband and with put down to Perfecto's for breakfast. I typically get an egg sandwich on a bagel (Veggie Omelet, specifically). Many egg sandwiches can creep me out, but I love the way the eggs come out here. The sandwich comes all bundled up and cut. Yum (I think I want one now!). The bagels are good, with a good variety to choose from and the cream cheeses are really good too. I was disappointed that they recently changed the cream cheese container (which is smaller), but kept the price the same. The panini sandwiches are also very good. And as for the ice coffee, I love that they have "real" flavored decaf ice coffee, as opposed to just flavor shots which I'm not a big fan off. There's usually at least 2 decaf choices in both hot and cold coffee. For caffeinated coffees, there's a whole lot more to choose from. The creme brulee is one of my favorites! The plaza that this is located in is clean and has outdoor flowers and trees around. Makes for a nice outdoor seating area, which many people commonly use. This place beats out all the other chain breakfast places in my book! read more

Very consistent, my only complaint would be the fellow patrons (tend to be on the snobby side) however cannot knock the establishment for that !
