I made an appointment online (a huge mistake) to investigate draining my water heater and replacing the sacrificial anode rod. The first inkling that something was wrong was when I was not given an approximate arrival time. The day of service I used their chat feature (100% AI I'm sure) to try and narrow a time down and was told I'd get a call from the office about a time, but no one called. Then we called their office number (and again 100% AI I'm sure) we were again told we'd get a call from the office, but again, it never happened. This must be a common complaint because checking on arrival times is one of the numeric options when you get the menu. That menu option told me the visit would occur between 11 AM and 11 PM! Really? So disappointing. At 2:50 the technician called to give me a 25-minute heads up he was on his way. When he got here, he informed me that the cost to drain the water heater was over $1,000 and that that did not include the anode rod. I couldn't believe it. With an average lifespan of 8-12 years and almost 6 yrs already gone by, I didn't feel it was worth a $1,000 gamble that we'd be extending the lifespan of the heater. I declined the service. I think information about the cost of water heater flushing should have been shared with me before the appointment. Someone should have picked up the phone and warned me about the exorbitant cost of flushing a water heater. But maybe Springer is in a position where the $129 service fee is worth more to them than repeat business. If you make an appointment with Springer, call them (don't book online) and ask if they have any idea of the cost of your needed service before they come to you. Also, be prepared to remain a hostage in your home for the day.

My bathroom was vandalized had had to be totally replaced. At first 3 of them came out measured everything, looked everywhere. Then one of their contractors came out and looked again after ServePro had taken everything out. So far it seemed great. The problem was that they never gave me a bid. Instead they asked to talk to the insurance adjuster- even after my insurance had already given me the money. Then he called and said the adjustor wouldn't talk to him..did I have a phone number for him. Then he called and asked if I would just shoot a copy of the insurance payment to him. Each time I talked to them I told them I had the money and they needed to give me a bid, each time he politely told me they wouldn't give me a bid. I really let this go on too long and should have dumped them when they told me they wouldn't give me the bid directly. They were trying to see how much money I had before bidding! Also they told me what repairs they were going to do, even after I told them I wanted something different Find another contractor.

And I'm so grateful it's on my property!!! We decided on metal poles due to the clay soil and drainage issues on our property (lots of clay). You would never know there are metal poles. They wrapped them so perfectly it looks like the whole fence is wood. Seriously.... This fence is absolutely beautiful. I am so impressed with their work. Everything went so smoothly.... The entire process.... And the price was definitely reasonable compared to other quotes we got. One other company quoted us $100k before even walking our property ... We scheduled a time for Josh to come out and give me a quote and take a look at the current fence situation. I had a fence that had fallen twice and 40ish railroad ties that I wanted gone. The same day Josh came, I found out I needed a new roof, and he understood that it would take a precedent over the fence replacement. I had talked to a couple of other fencing companies but still came back to Lionheart. We appreciate a family-owned and local company. Josh worked with me and I was able to schedule the fence out a bit. When the time came to order supplies, I wanted a stain that wasn't one that was readily available and that was no problem, Josh got what I needed. Build day came and Josh showed up to walk the property and check-in. Jesus and team showed up and got right to work; they had the fence down and removed the railroad ties with a quickness. The ground ended up being rockier than they had anticipated and ended up taking a bit longer for them to get the posts in. They were extremely friendly and didn't mind my dog who wanted to come out and supervise. Jesus made a point to ask me any time there was something that might be an issue and ensured the hose was wound up and put away when they were done. On day 2, they ran out of boards to complete the fence and had to get more of the stain to stain the additional boards. They were back on day 3, finished up, picked up some of the last bits, and answered questions. The clear communication throughout the project was great and I would 100% recommend and use Lionheart again.
