I walked in with the intention of making a future apt. I had gotten tips/dip manicure to help my short nails grow at a friend's recommendation and it was horrible. Chipped, cracking, jagged etc. They got me right into a chair, soaked off the diaster, replaced with new tips (in the correct length and shape unlike the last place), did the dip polish, filed them down so they weren't lumpy or un natural looking (last place didn't do this). I am new to the nail world but these look natural and feel natural and look amazing. read more

Overall it was okay- they were just very pushy and not friendly. I asked for regular polish on my toes and the worker kept asking me to do gel, I finally caved and she gave me a French tip without my consent (which cost more).. when she asked me if I liked it I just felt bad and didn't want to wait for her to redo it so I let it go but then as I got my manicure the worker made my fingers bleed, the tools were very dirty and unsanitary... and overall I just did not have the best experience. I was overcharged from what should have been 70 bucks at the most according to their website was 100 dollars. Lesson learned and I won't be going back unfortunately. read more

I went in to get a pedicure. They raised their prices really high. I chose the $40.00 one. The guy was done in 10 minutes. I had to tell him to do my callous on my toes. I would not recommend this place to any one. The salon was also filthy. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. All he did was paint my toenails for $40.00! My daughter stopped in to get a polish change on her toes and nails then the person took her back. They started giving her a pedi my daughter repeatedly told her to stop because she wanted just a polish change. The lady continue doing the pedi when my husband got there because my daughter texted him she told him he would have to pay $80. This place charges whatever they want when they want and the lady spoke, no English. They charged us for something that we didn't ask for. Same crap happened to my mom as far as playing fast and loose with the prices. Quoted one price over the phone and charged a higher price after the service. My mom objected, and according to her, a manager or owner spoke in Asian (of course) to the manicurist. She ended up paying the quoted price. But a bunch of nonsense. I was then told that there was yet another client in front of me, but I could wait and someone else could do my nails when they finished or I could wait. Went to get my nails done for spring break, started to get very light headed (found out that I'm sensitive to strong smells) and they took such good care of me. They finished quickly and helped me outside while my mom payed. My nails look amazing and I can trust that I'm in good, safe hands when I go there. I would put -10 if I could. To summarize, my nail bed was drilled off and I left with two bleeding fingers and a green nail from a bacterial infection since they do not clean their stuff. Went in late December, with perfectly healthy nails for a new design. The lady rushed to fill in the gel and did not do it well because the gel itself started coming off my nail after two weeks and so did the top coat. Went for a removal and a manicure last week. She ripped the gel off 3 of my nails by inserting a fake nail between the gel and my fingernail. After that, barely got time to soak the gel in acetone and she mostly just drilled off the nail plate of 5 nails to the point that my nails were plain red, and the gel from the remaining 2 was still there. At the end of my manicure, two fingers were bleeding. The nail polish from the manicure started coming off the very next day. Now half of my nails bend like a plastic straw and hurt when touched. If they know you are not a regular, they will add $5-$10 to the published price just for you, all for some painful and mediocre work with low quality products. read more

I went to get a basic medi/ pedi which cost $32(medi) and $35( pedi) but ended paying well over $130 for the set. No gel polish. No acrylic. Just the basics. They priced raped me and when I went to speak to them about it before I paid, they threatened to call the police. (BTW I'm black) And on top of that two days later my nails came off and I wasn't allowed back for them to fix it. This place is not worth your time or energy. Ugh! Never again. read more

Never again. I go in made an appointment for 4:00 Came in everything was fine until the end. I was getting solar nails balanced and she tried to put gel polish on top of my nails when the last step is to buff them to make them look shiny. So I told her no you need to buff them she was like I don't have any. I was like you better fine some. She did and it wasn't the right stuff so not only was the cost $49 and I paid it, but I had to go to another salon to get them fixed. I came in for a gel manicure, and a gel pedicure. The manager is a rude, unprofessional, and terrible all around. While doing my manicure the manager was about to cut my nails I politely asked her if you could avoid cutting too much as my nails grow very slow. She replied back in a rude unnecessarily loud voice, "They're uneven!" I understood they are uneven all I meant was to please not cut too much. The rest of the time she did a half ass job on my nails and did not take her time. The pedicure was OK the pedicurist was friendly and professional. However I will not be going back EVER unless they change the management. They charged me $90.00 plus tip which is way too expensive for what you pay their brands of gel are not worth that price. He cut my cuticles and was rough in general, took a really realllly long time, and they gave me nails that were $20 more then what I asked for. When I told them the price didn't look right, the staff argued with me, said I agreed to the higher priced nails and waited until I paid the high price. Ahm... I don't even know where to begin! I usually never write reviews, and hate reading essays, so I will just mention what sucks, without a 5 minute story to go with each! 1. Place is very very very dirty... floors, tools, lots of unlabeled bottles being used! A few times they have applied product onto my nails, at it actually burned! 2. If you are going there for acrylic removal (which they have the decency to charge $15 for) prepare for someone to pick at your nails until they find a lifted spot, wedge the tool underneath, and then literally pry/break them off your nail! No prior soak, file, etc. The only reason I went for this service was to have it done right w/o nail damage... I could have picked at home for free and gotten less nail damage! 3. Every time I go, they always try to harass you into doing what they want. Including: different polish than what you originally pick, how thick your whites need to be on a french,they won't scrub the roughs off your feet, even if you ask, etc . Every time I go in they will bug you to get gel. Then, when you finally say no firmly, they do the regular polish very quickly and messy. 4. Because this is a walk in place, if you are getting regular polish, beware that as soon as the tech hears a group walk in that wants acrylic or gel, your service will be rushed and done asap so they can make more money. I've noticed if you are getting acrylic or gel polish, they don't do this to you. 5. If you must go here as a last resort, and no other place has an appointment, or everything is closed, then please please please for the love of your paws, AVOID THE GUY AT THE FIRST TABLE ON THE RIGHT AT ALL COSTS!!!! I'm really bummed about this, because this is the closest nail salon to my house. I have given them multiple tires, and unfortunately, this most recent acrylic removal will be my last service with them. read more

I have been going to Perfect Nails consistently for at least 10 yrs. I am currently waiting for them to credit my account as they charged me $66.22 for a pink & white balance. I have NEVER & will NEVER pay $66.22 for a pink & white fill. Please note: I left a $20 tip that day. I did not notice because because I thought the $66.22 was the total for services rendered, as well as, my $20 tip that I added. On my bank account Perfect Nails charged me $66.22 on 09/02/18. It wasnt until 09/13/18 that I was charged the additional $20. I have called and asked them to correct this mistake & make an adjustment & the owner told me they were "too busy". I asked if I should come there to have it corrected and she said "no." I am hoping they will show "good business practices" by crediting my account appropriately in a timely manner. I have been visiting for pedis and then manis when the gel came out since 2003. They just keep getting better. The business has grown professionally and the services far exceed my occasional outings with friends to their local establishments. If you do not live in Hilliard, this little shop is worth the drive. What is more, most of the technicians have professional degrees in a variety of expertise but choose this family business as a priority. As a result, there is much more attention to detail than in theoretically comparable shops around the county (which I have also visited during business travel). read more

I called to check prices and scheduled an appointment for a full set of acrylic nails as a gift for my niece. They said $35 for a full set and I scheduled an appointment. We arrived on time, but had to wait more than 20 minutes, and 2 people who arrived when we did, wrote that their appointment was for 2:00, but they were serviced before us because they signed in early. The person did a good job, but I had to question him about what he was doing when he used dip instead. He said "Oh, right acrylic". Then he used gel polish, but we did not ask for this, so I assumed it was included in the price. When he asked what shape, she said coffin. When finished, my niece went to the bathroom and I paid. I was quoted $35 so when he said I owed $65 I was shocked and upset. I did not want my niece to know I was upset about the price. I asked him to explain the price and he said, well gel is extra, coffin is extra. $30 extra?? I am glad I said something about dip, because I am sure that would have been even more! I still do not understand and I will never go there again. I feel that anything extra should be mentioned first, and they should NOT add on extra costs (i.e. gel) without checking first. read more

I'm from out of town but visited recently with my sister, who lives in Hilliard, and my mom. While my pedicure was ok, due to a significant lack of customer service, we can definitively say we won't be back. When we arrived, I signed in a noted next to my name that I wanted a gel manicure and eyebrow wax. While getting my pedicure, the employee and I confirmed that I wanted my eyebrows done. As he led me up to pay and totaled what I owed - not including the eyebrow wax, I asked if someone was available to do the wax - if not, no worries, I had already been there an hour and could always have my normal girl take care of it a few days later. He insisted it wasn't a problem and asked another employee to take me back. She let the customer she just called up know she'd only be a few minutes, at which point the incredibly presumptuous customer said, "I'm in a hurry, can't she just wait?" The employee looked and me and I replied, "if that's the case, I would rather have my money back. I have been here an hour and had that service next to my name since then, and I'm in a hurry to get home too since my son is waiting for dinner." The employee ushered me back to room and proceeded to lecture me on how I was out of line and should have let her finish the other customer first. I reminded her that I had already been here, I had already paid, and I had let the gentleman know that it wasn't a big deal if they could accommodate the wax - and that it wasn't the other customer's place to ask the employee to make me wait. Despite this, she continued to lecture me that I mis-stepped and was out of line...and gave me the worse wax of my life, which despite me asking for touch ups after she showed me in the mirror, I had to spend 10 mins fixing once I got home. I took my 3 granddaughters for mani/pedi's. Was there total of 2.25 hours. They started the girls then kept working others in. All three girls had pictures of what they wanted. Their nails were not done as expected. The floor was filthy. When I went to pay total was $135. I told them it was credit. All of a sudden bill was $145. I had been going here off and on for a few years. I have never had a good experience with the older woman there. Every single time she has done my nails or my daughter's nails, we come out of there bleeding. Just went in on a Friday at 4:00 to get a balance. She tries to tell me that there are no acrylics on my nails and that it was just gel polish (I had the acrylics done there 3 weeks before). I told her over and over that there were acrylics on there as she proceeds to literally rip off the gel nail polish and the acrylics underneath using an acrylic nail form. Obviously it was painful and I told her 3 times to stop and that I had never had removal done that way. 2 of my nail beds were now bleeding. She then said "ok I soak the rest off" - there were some tiny spots that she couldn't rip off. She puts acetone on a cotton ball to soak them and then disappears. 20 minutes later, I was still sitting there (at this point, I had been in there for 90 mins). I got up and left - terrible experience and now I have paper thin nails that still hurt! read more
